absolutely loved this condo! It was so beautiful! I don't know how many times I said, I could live here! The couch and chairs were comfortable although I wish it had two recliners to put your feet up at night. only thing we had a problem with was, the table was a high top. We are senior citizens and it was hard sitting on the high chairs without anything to put our feet on. I realize this wont bother most people. This condo had everything needed in the kitchen, in the bathrooms and even had a pool/beach cart. The pool at Maravilla is amazing. We loved it! the balcony was so nice at night. Nice breeze, huge table and chairs outside.

It was pet hair throughout the house but other than that the stay was great. My kids had bad allergies

Wonderful condo for family!

We just loved this unit. Beautiful renovations, wonderful patio and view of the pool. Beds were comfortable in bedrooms and grounds were lovely for the kids to enjoy the pool.

Perfect weekend

We loved staying here. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Had everything we needed. Views were perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was beautiful and very spacious! Plenty of room for everyone and in close to the main pool

Very easy check in process, great location, very clean and just a beautiful home. The patio that overlooks the main pool is so relaxing. This was by far the best condo we have rented. We would love to come back again.

Perfect place to stay!

My kids and I stayed at this beautiful property called the Salty Mermaid. It was absolutely perfect! Our view, the property, the location. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Pleasantly surprised and happy with location and accommodation!

This particular unit is lovely and has everything you need! The overall complex is a little rundown but the large pool was great! Beach is literally across the (large) street!

Great week in Galveston

We were here for 4 nights so that our 7 year old could attend a 3 day summer daycamp. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We were able to work from the condo while our daughter was at camp and then had a great time in the pool every evening. We would love to stay here again.

Salty Mermaid June 2023

We had a great time in Galveston and staying at the Salty Mermaid! The condo was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything we needed (except a blender)! The pool options were nice to have. The grounds were well kept and clean. Easy access to the beach was a bonus!

Best place we've stayed

We came here in April and returned in September. This is the only place we've stayed in more than once. When the biggest issue you face is a night light with dead batteries, you can't really ask for a more perfect place. Everywhere else we've stayed over the years had some issue that caused us to keep looking. We're done looking.

Stay here!

This condo was everything and more. We have stayed at other Maravilla condos but this one was by far our favorite. Spacious, kitchen well equipped, laundry essentials. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the KING size bed in the spare room. Beds are comfy and AC works really well, it was a must for being summer time and a pregnant wife. We will be back like we are every summer but will definitely try to book this same condo.

Beautiful Place!

We loved the Salty Mermaid! So much room, very open and tons of light — just a very nice place. It was so close to everything. The balcony was SWEET! We were so pleasantly surprised and felt like the photos just don’t do it justice. We loved the property and felt very safe. Really convenient to have the dedicated pet areas and it even had a dog wash on site! We will definitely be back soon!

Great veranda

It was great as usual got in the hot tub and enjoyed our beautiful new years ever !!! Always wonderful to stay here. We even have a name for it ! We just call it new house!!? lol

Beautiful & spacious

Beautiful and spacious condo with all the luxuries of home! Plenty of space for our 4 adults & 3 teens. Condo has been beautifully renovated and has every convenience we needed. We especially like the high ceilings and separate bedrooms and full baths which meant we were never “on top of” each other. We tend to cook in and the kitchen was well-appointed. Management was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay again!

This is a gorgeous condo. It looks just like in the pictures. We really appreciated all the little touches (blankets for the living room, beach towels). We vacationed in July and didn't use the deck very much, but we would love to go back in the fall or spring because the deck was just amazing. It would be so lovely to have coffee or dinner out there. My only criticism was that the water pressure in the master shower was not very good. Everything else was perfect. I highly recommend this condo.

Great Stay!

Great stay! Accurate description of property, no concerns. Plenty of towels and bathroom toiletries, beach towels too! Lots of kitchen supplies and utensils but absolutely no kitchen pantry items(oil, salt & pepper/spices) so pack accordingly. Property is older but very well maintained and patrolled nightly by management. Construction at front of property did not affect our stay at all. Would definitely book again and go back!
