Enjoy this classic cape cod oasis directly across the street from Allen Harbor. This space has a private deck with a table for 2, where you can sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air off the comfort of your room. This space has a King size bed, flat screen tv and a mini split unit for A.C and heat. There is a sliding barn door off of the bedroom leading you into a cozy sitting area with a mini kitchenette (fridge & speed microwave oven) and a table for 2. Lastly, the bathroom has a huge walk in shower equipped with two shower heads and a rain head.

Weekend getaway

Very nice accommodations close to everything we needed for a wedding weekend. Very clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Love the breakfast bar in the morning and the wonderful shower. Would highly recommend staying here. The host was very communicative and even brought our grandson a basket of toys when she saw him. That was perfect. Lovely room and would come back again.

Felt Right At Home

What a lovely place to call home while we were visiting the Cape! Owners were always available to us for questions, assistance or just to chat. Cottage was appointed well and had ample space for us to store our road bikes on the back patio. Everything we could have needed. Owners helped us with restaurant recommendations and we had a most memorable meal at The Ocean House. The only thing we would change is to have a brighter light on the front porch and some walkway lights to help us navigate getting in from the parking lot after dark. My husband took a good tumble on the steps on our last night there. But we certainly hope to return because we loved our stay here at felt right at home.

Stayed here Memorial Day Weekend and had a great time! The room was perfect, just what you need for a weekend getaway. Very clean and in a great location. Would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful cozy place for getaway

Me and my wife stayed at the Nantucket Room at this rental for a preseason getaway across from Allen Harbor in Harwich Port. The rooms were freshly updated with a new bathroom (beautiful large shower as shown in the pictures), a comfortable kitchenette with all of the needed accoutrements (plates, utensils, coffee cups, wine glasses) for a couple to enjoy their time. It was just like the pictures showed. We will consider revisiting this adorable spot, the next time we want to visit Cape Cod.

Nice stay!

The room was cute, clean and cozy. Located in a nice neighborhood and best of all dog friendly! Would definitely come back and stay again in warmer weather!

Wonderful stay.

We loved out 3 nights stay. It was perfect for 2 and just what we needed, all amenities were golden and the location is perfect. We had other family members on the Cape so this was just right for 2. Definitely we will return. Clean, newly renovated, elegant, simplistic. No surprises! Thank you.

Perfect couple getaway

No hassle, a beautiful, place for my wife and I to get away from the city and relax on the Cape. Easy check-in and out. Joe and Christine provided everything we needed and were easy to get a hold of. Quiet neighborhood with easy parking. Walking distance to a really nice beach (10 min). A great location on a quieter part of the Cape with lots of great restaurants and other beaches just a few minutes drive away.

Great property, great location.

The inn was quaint and clean. Good proximity to Main Street shops and restaurants and walkable to two small beaches. Room was updated and nice (though missing any hanging space for clothes). I wish some additional info was provided: recommendations for breakfast, activities, beaches, etc (maybe a little welcome booklet in the room?).; do we get any room cleaning/towel exchanges throughout the stay; whether we could use the beach chairs, coolers, kayaks, etc outside; check-out time and process; and I didn’t realize this was an Inn based on the listing. The pool was a little dated and there was some moldy pool furniture, but the property was pretty and nicely landscaped. Overall, I would recommend staying here!

Perfect getaway

I loved this place! Beautiful landscaping, lots of charm, spotless, and with nice amenities. The location can’t be beat either- right near a lovely beach with free parking, though I enjoyed walking there. Will be back!

Misleading Property Description

We searched for “pets allowed” and “house” on vrbo and found something we thought would suit our needs. Here is the description of the property copied directly from the website. “About this rental • Cottage • 1 bedroom o 1 bed o Sleeps 2 • 1 bathroom o 1 full bath • Spaces o Kitchen o Living Room o Deck/Patio Classic Cape Cod Oasis Directly Across The Street From Allan Harbor! Enjoy this classic cape cod oasis directly across the street from Allan Harbor. This space has a private deck with a table for 2, where you can sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air off the comfort of your room. This space has a queen size bed, flat screen tv and a mini split unit for A.C and heat. There is a sliding barn door off of the bedroom leading you into a cozy sitting area with a mini kitchenette (fridge & speed microwave oven) and a table for 2. Lastly, the bathroom has a huge walk in shower equipped with two shower heads and a rain head. When we arrived the property on 12/21 it was nothing like the description. It was a single large room and was attached to several other rooms as part of a small hotel. There was a sign calling it an “Inn.” We arrived in the evening and there was no one around. We spent the night as we had just travelled in and had nowhere else to go. We left the next day 12/22. We left the place clean and as we found it. Besides the property being just a hotel there were other problems: • The door to the room did not always lock properly • The bathroom door did not close properly (it stuck) • The tv cut in and out (we have a video of this) • There was no dish soap for the kitchenette • The heat in the room did not work properly - we turned it up and room just stayed lukewarm. We have attached a pdf with photos. Our trip was ruined because of these issues - we cut it short and went home. We expected to receive a refund that VRBO refused to give because apparently that is something that you and the property person need to negotiate. The property was in no way what was/is advertised.
