Duck Delight

This house is in a great location, a short walk to the beach and the sound. Pool and hot tub are great.

Had a great time. House was as listed. Everything was clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay again!!

The entire deck area is unusable because it’s so old there are loose rusty dangerous nails sticking out. You can easily get splinters. The boards are uneven. There is mold/black dust in the air vents (I took pictures it’s not good.)They give you slim supplies (1 roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper).The pool is literally not usable . There is dirt in the pool , it’s unsanitary.The deck by the pool is uninviting and there is no real bbq. It’s an old bbq. The linens were clean and the air conditioning worked well.

We have shared your concerns with our property management and maintenance teams. Regarding the deck, the property was inspected and found to be structurally safe. As is common with pressure-treated lumber used on most decks, some boards and nail pops do require attention over time. We are currently working with the homeowner on improvements and repairs to ensure future guests are not inconvenienced. We also had the HVAC vents inspected by a licensed mold remediation company after your report. The substance observed was determined to be mildew rather than mold, which is common in humid coastal environments. Nevertheless, the vents were professionally cleaned and disinfected. As for the pool, all of our pools and hot tubs are maintained by certified pool professionals. The pool was serviced two days prior to your arrival, and a subsequent chemical check confirmed that all levels were within acceptable ranges. Due to our coastal location, windblown sand can occasionally accumulate in pools between service visits. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the guest experience.
