Welcome to The Grey Goose, a spacious, inviting, and well appointed family vacation home located in the peaceful community of Sea Ridge in the town of Duck, NC. This oceanside retreat is just a mere 300 feet from the water's edge of our private community beach. Our guests rave about the spectacular views, especially the sunrises which are second to none. Our home is walking distance to the sound side where you can enjoy equally as spectacular sunsets while enjoying your beverage of choice at The Village Table and Tavern.

We go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, with complimentary linens, bath towels, and beds made for your convenience. As our guest, you'll have exclusive access to the Sea Ridge community pool, providing a refreshing oasis for relaxation and fun. We also offer a selection of complimentary amenities to enhance your vacation experience including beach chairs, and beach umbrellas.

The Grey Goose is a multi-level home designed to accommodate your family's needs and preferences. On the third level, you'll find a massive primary bedroom with a private deck that offers a stunning ocean view, perfect for those seeking a bit of solitude and serenity. Relax in the comfortable pub chairs and enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee or the amazing views of the stars and the evening sky with an evening beverage.

The second floor, or main level, features a spacious great room where you can unwind and socialize, making it the heart of the house. The full sized kitchen is well-equipped to ensure that meal preparation for your crew is a breeze. An outside gas grill is provided and includes complimentary propane refills. For your convenience you'll find a washer and dryer on the main level as well. Also on the main level is a bedroom and full bath. The ground floor has two bedrooms and shared full bath

Each of our bedrooms features new flat-screen televisions with cable, so you can enjoy your favorite shows and movies during downtime. Both decks are furnished with comfortable seating, making them ideal for enjoying the coastal breeze and spectacular picturesque views. The community pool is just steps away for those who prefer a relaxing swim.

Outdoor amenities include a full sized outdoor shower and changing room as well as a foot wash making it easy to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach. Get your workouts in at the basketball hoop.

We had a great stay. The house was beautiful and in a great location. There were a few minor hiccups during our stay, but Greg was very responsive and everything was resolved quickly. We’d definitely stay there again.

This is my fifth year staying at the Grey Goose, and it gets better every year. There always seems to be a new upgrade to the house, and you can’t beat the beautiful ocean views, the easy walk to and from the beach, and the convenient proximity to downtown Duck. I would highly recommend the Grey Goose to anyone looking to visit the Outer Banks.

The house has many decks and you can see the ocean. Loads of puzzles, too. It's just a short walk to the beach, plus some chairs and umbrellas. There's a very useful beach wagon in the garage for hauling things. The host even provides beach towels, so we didn't have to bring them.

Overall, things were good. One towel set pp was a bit sparse and the beds were really soft leading to back aches. The a/c went out and it was 85; we were compensated for 1 night out of 4 remaining. Be prepared to buy paper goods. The roominess of the main floor was really nice and everyone had a private space. Easy access to town and the beach.

Hi Lucia, thank you for your stay and for your patience with the A/C. Please note that we have full size laundry machines in the home and we provide detergent. Our expectation is that guests will use the laundry, especially for longer stays. For paper products we provide "starter" qty as stated in the listing. Reminder that only one of the three AC units in the home was down so the compensation reflects the proportionate inconvenience. Thanks again.

Lovely house in a great seaside community. Lots of room and many decks on which to listen to ocean and watch scenery. Many restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby

Grey Goose in Duck

Beautiful and comfortable home in Duck - this was our second stay in this house and we plan to return again! Location is perfect and Gregory is an excellent host.

Peaceful stay in Duck, NC

Overall this property was very clean, comfortable and extremely well stocked for everything we needed. We came during the chilly early spring, but the location to the beach was fantastic and we enjoyed walks on the beach and sunsets on the beautiful multiple decks. Overall we had a wonderful time and didn't stay long enough.

Grey Goose Experience

It is in a fantastic location, steps from the Beach. The main bedroom has a tremendous ocean view, and multiple rooms and the expansive deck also have ocean views. It also has the amenities listed in the description. I have been to the Grey Goose for the last three years and would recommend it to anyone looking to experience the Outer Banks.

This is a very nice property conveniently located between Duck and the Sanderling Resort and close to the beach! The house was very clean and had a lot of living space for a group of people. Although we were busy with wedding events at the Sanderling, while we were at the house we really enjoyed the multiple decks, comfortable deck chairs and hammocks. Any questions I had were quickly answered by the host. I would highly recommend The Grey Goose for your next trip to OBX.

Winter Getaway

We had a great stay in Duck. The highlights of this house are the location, the view (especially from the new window in the master bedroom) and the many wonderful outdoor decks. In addition, it has a big kitchen, plenty of room to spread out and very comfortable beds. The owner could not have been nicer and promptly answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this house. We hope to return soon.

Amazing

We had an amazing time here. The house was stunning and in a perfect location. It was about a 15 minute drive away from Walmart and a 3 minute drive from all the cute little stores and coffee shops in duck. We were so close to the beach and had so much fun. It was very peaceful and we overall had such an incredible time. The only thing that I could say that you should bring for yourself would be bath towels, hand towels, dish scrubbies, and better frying pans. Even though bath towels are provided, there’s almost none there but it wasn’t a big deal.

NCAA tournament boys weekend

Property was exceptional. Just as pictured on VRBO site. Ocean views from 3rd floor and second floor. Short walk to beach. All plliances, TV, internet all worked as expected. Nicely furnished and very comfortable beds. 3 bathrooms is great!!! I will very likely try to rebook again for this annual trip and for family summer vacation. Host was very helpful and communicated as needed throughout our stay.

The Best Ever

The Grey Goose and Greg the owner were the best experience I've had in 6 yrs in OBX. Gorgeous house, perfect location near the beach, spectacular views and very nice living spaces that made for a most enjoyable stay. It was tougher this year to come home ! Greg's communication was above and beyond during storm-related cable outage....I look forward to the Goose in future years !!!

Property Management Deficiency?

Great location and ocean views. Owner communication was very responsive. Owner has made substantial upgrades outside and some appliances inside. Unfortunately, the property management seems deficient. The issues were minor, but collectively irritating - insufficient hand towels, wash cloths, no dishtowels of cloths. One toilet seat wasn't secure. Some deck cushions were left exposed to the weather. Additionally, the community lacks fundamentally safe beach access - seniors should be aware there is no board walkway, or stairs leading to the beach. Navigating the steep dune may be problematic

What an amazing location to stay at. 1st trip to NC and it couldn't have been any better. The house is absolutely beautiful, well maintained. Kitchen had almost everthing we needed. Our family had plenty of space to spread out. Looking forward to booking another trip back!
