Kauai’s Most Breathtaking Views at Hanalei Bay Resort

Welcome to your Kauai paradise. Unit 9203 is located in the renowned Bamboo building which features the most stunning views of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai.

This recently updated, air conditioned studio condo features a comfortable king size bed beneath a ceiling fan, looking out onto your private lanai overlooking Hanalei Bay. The kitchenette features a mini refrigerator, coffee maker, teapot, glasses, dishes, and silverware. The spacious bathroom features a shower and comfortable towels. The resort has washers and dryers located within steps of this unit.

Imagine yourself on the lanai with your morning coffee or an evening cocktail overlooking the turquoise bay after spending the day at our nearby beach with our full compliment of beach toys including beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and coolers.

The Hanalei Bay Resort is a tropical paradise with eight hard surface and clay tennis courts, Kauai’s only swim up bar in a lagoon style pool, and a restaurant serving cocktails and dinner seven days a week. Concierge service, optional valet parking, golf cart transport around the resort and to the beach, tennis and pool amenities, and wi-fi are all included in the reasonable resort fees, see below. These fees are not included in this booking, they are to be paid directly to the resort upon check in.

Note that this unit may be combined with unit 9201 and 9202 to make a 1300 square foot two bedroom or 1750 square foot three bedroom oasis for up to eight guests. Please see VRBO listings 2374272 and 2375600 for rates and availability. Or if you'd like all three units see listing 2375681.

Our house manager is available to you for any questions you may have about snorkeling, restaurants, hikes, and any other activities you may want to enjoy on your stay.

GUEST NOTICE -- A $50.00 Check-In Fee is required for each reservation. Non-Hanalei Bay Resort owners are subject to a daily Resort Fee of $25.00 plus tax, and a daily Parking Fee of $20.00 plus tax for each vehicle they bring. Owners with more than one vehicle will incur an additional Parking Fee.

What a fabulous view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this exceptional unit at Hanalei Bay. Laurie was very communicative and welcoming. The “kitchen “ arrangement was very helpful and we appreciated the coffee supplies and welcome refreshments. Having the beach chairs and snorkeling gear available was an extra benefit. The pool is beautiful and the beach path enchanting. This is probably the best view in the resort, so don’t miss out!

My, oh my, what a wonderful rental! Best view of the bay and sunset in the entire complex. Very easy to get acclimated to the resort. Lovely amenities. Very comfortable room. Parking was easy, and the staff are so quick and accommodating if you want a lift on their golf carts if you don't want to walk. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wow! This property was exactly what we needed. A view of the ocean, the sailboats, the surfers and the mountain! The property had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Having the beach gear including chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear was perfect. It was really nice to have the golf car service to drive us to and from our car to transport the luggage. Laurie’s welcome packet was loaded with information to help prepare us for our trip and create an itinerary for each day. Having the facts about the island was wonderful too! Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary stay just perfect!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The unit was clean, staff were very helpful, everyone was so easy-going, the view was incredible, the treats left in the room made us feel so welcomed. Everything was amazing and we had a wonderful time! Would stay in this unit again in a heartbeat.

The view is what it’s all about! Ocean and Mountain view exactly as pictured. We loved that! The resort is quiet, had nice pools and access to the beach down a steep hill path. The resort will provide cart rides up and down but we walked with our gear just fine. The cozy room was comfortable and was great for our short stay. The furnishings are very nice; we slept well. We didn’t read the listing as closely as we should have; this is really a hotel room style place not a condo. We were expecting a kitchen and living room but the small refrigerator, microwave and K-cup coffee maker worked out well enough. Thanks for the snacks & drinks, nice touch! The balcony has enough space for sitting outside to eat and relax in chairs or at the table.

View was absolutely stunning. The room is exactly as described- perfect for a couple. The restaurants in the resort are yummy. The pools are beautiful. There was a little snafu with the resort, but the owner worked with us to resolve it.

Great place, beautiful views

Beautiful resort with lots of amenities. Perfect place for couple. We were only in the area for a few nights but fell in love with Hanelei.

First and foremost, photos and words cannot accurately reflect the absolutely beautiful view of Hanalei Bay from this property. We knew the view would be spectacular based on prior reviews, but seeing it in person exceeded our already high expectations. It is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a spectacular view. The property was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Laurie was very quick to respond to any questions and was very responsive and friendly. Our only "slight" frustration was that the kitchenette was even smaller than we imagined it would be. There is a mini fridge, a small microwave, and a kuerig coffee maker. These are located in the bathroom extension area where the bathroom sink is located, so to wash any dishes you are essentially washing them in the bathroom sink. We were also told in an email that there was a toaster, so we purchased accordingly to have bagels and such. When we did not see a toaster we wrote and Laurie responded that toasters were not allowed in the unit, so that was a little confusing. That being said, it was a minor thing compared to the incredible view. This is a perfect condo for couples visiting the Hanalei Bay area and perfect place to relax and renew your spirit.

This was a beautiful unit with gorgeous ocean views. We saw many rainbows over the bay and enjoyed our morning coffee watching the surfers.

The resort and the views are incredible along with the private beach was definitely a plus. The unit is more like a hotel room not an apartment as it’s advertised. That was the only negative we have about the space and we had to pay an additional 220 for parking and resort fees.

We have stayed at Hbr many times and this is by far the best building for the very best view- The unit is small but nicely appointed and decorated. Also was very well stocked with supplies and even decaf coffee k-cups. Unfortunately had issue with ac unit during our stay which made it very hard to sleep.

Wonderful stay!

Great place, beautiful view, very clean. The resort is lovely, the snorkeling was great, nice facility. Very responsive folks when had small issue--replaced coffee maker. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful location

Beautiful location and short walk to the beach. Definitely would go back.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here tremendously! The resort and view we had was breathtaking. We also enjoyed the more laid back town of Hanalei as opposed to a larger resort area/feel. Thanks again.

Honeymoon stay

Awesome location and great view! The host was very responsive to anything we needed during our stay.

Aloha Welcome to Kauai and Hanalei Bay Resort

I was 18 years old when first traveled to Kauai. My sister and I
hiked the Na Pali Coastline trail. I fell in love with Kauai and
hoped that everyone I cared about could come here someday and
experience the love, the beauty and the magic of Kauai. Many
decades later, my husband Steve and I returned here after
raising our kids. That was December 2020. Covid Time. We
stayed in this very condo and both of us felt drawn to this island
in a way that words can’t describe. We have traveled all over the
world, 30 + countries and stayed in hundreds of different
accommodations in our travels. Of all the places we traveled in
the world, Kauai is hands down our favorite place.
Of all the Hawaiian Islands, this garden island is by far our
favorite. When we decided, we were going to buy here, we looked
all over the island and viewed many different condos. We kept
coming back to this lovely condo. This is our favorite part of the
island because of the mountains and stunning beaches. We felt
that we got the best condo in the complex with the best
unobstructed views in Hanalei Bay Resort. . Today, we are beyond
happy to share our little piece of paradise with you. Kauai might
just be the most romantic place on Earth. Everywhere you look is
beautiful! Stunning landscapes, pristine beaches, amazing waves,
beautiful flowers, and unforgettable sunsets. Kauai is steeped in
history and culture. Of course, there is no shortage of things to do
and see. We hope that you find the same magic, love and beauty
that touched our souls and lingers in the air no matter where you
are at in Kauai.
