Mahalo for your review. We’re delighted to hear that you found the condo comfortable and enjoyed the terrific views of the bay and mountains. It’s wonderful to know that the property was a great fit for your tennis and pickleball activities as well. Thank you for noting the nearby beach access. While the walk is short, we appreciate your mentioning that it can be a bit steep. Should you choose to return, please keep in mind that the resort offers complimentary golf cart shuttle service to and from the beach for added convenience. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable stay in the near future.

The views from the condo were amazing, can’t get any better! Unfortunately the bed in the master bedroom was awful, very difficult to get a good nights sleep and the extra bed in the living room was unmade. Also there were potato chip crumbs on the top of the fridge. Overall we had a wonderful time, the facility has everything you need for a week in paradise. Happy Talk is always an added bonus.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the stay overall and took in the amazing views, from both the condo and Happy Talk Lounge. Your concerns are important to us, and we would have sent someone back to assist you had we known about any debri on the refrigerator, we apologize for that situation. We realize that the comfort of things like bedding and furniture is sometimes subjective, however our staff and the owners try our best to make sure everyone is having the relaxing and restful stay they anticipate, we apologize that is not what you experienced. We would have appreciated knowing about this so we could have had the opportunity to try to address your concerns while you were in-house. We truly appreciate you bringing these details to our attention. Your feedback helps us improve and we hope to welcome you back for a wonderful stay, Aloha.

A Divinely Stay in the North Shore

Thanks to this listening, Hanalei/Princeville will forever have a special place in my heart. The unit and views are absolutely perfect. I really enjoyed my time at the resort as well!! They have a fun restaurant (Happy Talk) with live music, an amazing property with outdoor activities, a great pool, and not to mention, a quick walk to access a lovely beach! I will definitely be staying here again!! Thank you for everything!

Great Stay

We had such a wonderful time at this condo! The view alone is worth every penny! The lanai has a fantastic view and we had breakfast out there every morning. The condo itself is very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The condo provides beach chairs and a cooler, and is a quick walk down to the beach. A great beach to watch the sunset :) the condo is only about a 10 minute drive to Hanalei. Overall we had a great stay!

Amazing!!!

We’ve been to Hawaii many times, including the North Shore of Kauai. This is, by far, the best place we have stayed. The view is breathtaking and the hospitality and amenities were perfect for our family of 4. We can’t wait to go back. Truly a magical place. And the pool was a surprise-huge with a pool bar and beach items you can check out. Also, a short walk down to the beach and one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. We loved every minute of our vacation.

Kaua’i Paradise

Lovely place to stay! Perfect location in the resort for easy pool, restaurant, tennis court, parking and beach access. Breathtaking views. Beautiful native landscaping. Spacious bathrooms. Very clean. Comfortable beds and soft linens. Having the washer and dryer in the bathroom was very convenient, and it was great to have the beach towels and chairs available for our use. We’d definitely come back!

nice stay

the room was very good - great view/location - nice layout-the kitchen and TVs were small but we knew that and they were fine. The rental company-parrish-were excellent with communications etc. The resort - Hanalei Bay-was just ok. Although the restaurant was excellent they offered no breakfast or lunch-who ever heard of a resort without breakfast or lunch. Although they charged for parking - it was always a challenge to find a spot. The fitness center was small and crowded. The staff was excellent.

BREATHTAKING

This condo exceeded our expectations! The view alone! The kitchenette is small- but who cares you have everything you need. (except salt, please add salt packs;) ) The bed was super comfortable and the price is perfect. The property has a hot tub, pool, and restaurant with live music. Golf course, tennis courts, walking paths, and a queen's bath right outside your door. Close to the 1 hotel, infact you share their beach. Parking can be difficult on the property. We will definitely come again! Thanks for having us!

Absolutely amazing. Excellent location for the incredible view, close to the pool, parking, and walkway to the beach. Spotlessly clean unit and grounds. The resort was perfect in every way we can think of. Friendly staff. Gorgeous landscape. Traditional Hawaiian feel everywhere. Great food at the restaurants. Unbelievable pool. Looks like a previous pool bar has been discontinued, but you can still enjoy sitting in the water on a 'stool' or relaxing in the shade, or escaping a downpour. BYOB to the pool. Even has TV's. Walk to beach is all downhill, so all uphill coming back. We called for a shuttle most times, which was fast and easy. Beautiful beach with turtles swimming close by. We were able to easily park close to the unit with no problem. We slept very well, however, the king mattress could use replacing soon. We will definitely return. LOVED it.

Great space with one of the best views in the area

My husband and I had a fabulous time staying at the Hanalei Bay Resort. #3201 & 3202 could definitely accommodate 4 people, but we felt it was just the right size for two people. It is nicely decorated, has a king-size bed, and has pretty much everything a guest needs for a stay in Kauai, including beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and nice bathroom amenities. We enjoyed cooking our meals and eating them on the balcony, which has a spectacular view of Hanalei Bay. The kitchen is on the small side, but it has all the amenities which, despite a few dull knives, were in perfectly good condition. Also, there's a parking lot very close to the condo, which was great. Made it very easy to carry luggage and beach gear to/from the car. The Hanalei Bay Resort is lovely, with a nice pool and beach access, which it shares with the Princeville St. Regis. It also offers a bunch of activities, both on land (such as tennis) and sea. And if the Hanalei Bay Resort doesn't have a specific activity (such as paddle board rentals), check with the activities desk at the St. Regis. You don't have to be a guest to rent some of their equipment, which we found out one day hanging out by the beach. It's a very family friendly place with plenty to do at the resort, but we mostly enjoyed visiting other beaches and sites in the area. You are only a few minutes drive away from both Princeville shopping center and Hanalei, so very easy to get around. Overall, we had a fabulous experience and would definitely come back to this rental again!

Some issues, but beautiful views

I was going to skip reviewing this VRBO because I already gave a critical review to the Parrish Collection, but I got an email saying I was reviewed as a guest and the only way to see it is if I leave a review here. Now I'm curious what they have to say, so here it goes: CONS -We had to search for pillows for the Murphy Bed and a rickety cabinet door fell off of a cabinet that seems barely held together. One of the sliding glass doors wouldn't lock.* I contacted the Parrish Collection to notify them of the above two issues. They offered to send someone to fix those, but we didn't want to be bothered with that on our vacation. We also noticed:A stool for the dining room table was wobbly. One of the AC/fans wouldn't shut off.No working exhaust fans in hot bathrooms.Only 3 mugs for 4 people. Gross, rusted, metal tissue box holders. Some walls had marks and could use re-painting or touching up.Also, I was notified by VRBO before the trip that payment was missing which gave me a heart attack, and I had to confirm with the Parrish Collection that they did receive payment.PROS -The units were very clean and the beds were comfortable - even the Murphy Bed, which I had been worried wouldn't be. The Hanalei Bay Resort is an amazing place with very nice staff. This condo has incredible mountain and sunset views when the weather is good.I guess I'd give it 3 stars overall because of the cons listed, but I bumped it up to 4 because of the location and gorgeous, off-the-char

Mahalo Susan for your feedback. Happy to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness of the unit, comfort of the beds and gorgeous views and lovely sunsets. As you mentioned, we did offer to send a member of our team to address the issues you had told us about however you responded you did not need these problems addressed and you just wanted us to know. We do greatly appreciate our guests feedback while they are staying with us and will take every effort to address their concerns. Not letting us know about your other concerns or allow us to address the two you mentioned and then complain later is not fair. If you had reported all the issues and we did not address them, then I would agree it would be worth noting. All payments for VRBO bookings are made by us as the merchant of record, and I would not know why VRBO, would reach out to you about payment. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the beauty of Kauai and hope you can return soon.

Property was clean and was perfect for 2 adults and two teenagers. Views, location, and resort were great. Kitchen would be a bit small if you were doing a lot of cooking, but was perfect for quick and easy meals. Resort restaurants were busy on nights when only 1 of 2 was open, but we were able to get a table after a bit of a wait. Resort does not have a bar that serves pool area.

Beautiful view over to hanalei bay. Great sunsets. Walked down to beach one night for a sunset. Did not use pool as we were out every day, looked great though. Did not go to happy talk as was closed Tuesday and Wednesday, but did look very busy on Thursday for sunset views I'm sure.

Mahalo Stephen for your review and comments. We are sorry if you felt the listing was not accurate. We are marketing the units as they have been marketed since they were built. The design allows flexibility to rent as separate studio units, however we do not do that. The layout is set up with one bedroom separate from the living quarters, so in effect a one-bedroom as advertised.

Hanalei Bay Resort - WONDERFUL

The 2-unit condo overlooking Hanalei Bay was just wonderful. The units are stocked well - EXCEPT - they need to add a pitcher to make up lemonade, etc., to take to the beach. Otherwise, we will go back for sure.
