Enjoy a relaxing stay in this 3 bedroom 2 bath house that sits across the road from the New River just 2 miles from Historic downtown Hinton, WV.
If you have come to town to enjoy water/outdoor activities….there are two public River accesses just a half of a mile in either direction. Newly opened Batteau Beach at Hinton Landing, featuring walkways, a shelter with picnic tables, boat and kayak launch, and a playground. Pipestem State Park is approximately 15 miles away, several kayak/raft rentals approximately 3 miles away, Sandstone falls just 6 miles away, and several hiking trails all around.
If you have come to town to relax and enjoy the scenery…..this house has everything you need for your time in the New River Gorge National Park area while listening to the sounds of the River. We have a large front yard for family activities, a covered front porch, a fire pit, and 2 gravel parking areas on site.

Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed this as our home base while exploring the national park. It had everything we needed to cook. Beds and furniture were comfortable.

Nice property, well stocked with what you need, incredibly clean, quiet. Convenient to Sandstone Falls and Bluestone State Park. Small town of Hinton nearby. Great base for visiting places along the New River Gorge area. Very responsive and kind host!

Great choice in Hinton!

My family stayed here while visiting New River Gorge NP. The house is very nice and clean and the location is perfect!

This home is located in a very nice spot. It’s just across the street from the river. Lots of ways to relax. Wish I could have stayed longer, but was just in for a weekend.

Perfect

The location of the property is perfect for those wanting to explore the national parks and state parks and close to towns with a lot of dining options. The property was clean and perfect for a family of six. Would definitely recommend for anyone seeking a stay in this area.

What a beautiful place. It has all the amenities you need. It's directly across from the river which has a private, peaceful rock to fish from or just sit and listen to the rapids. Our host Megan was awesome and super quick to respond. We would love to come back for another stay.

Excellent stay! We loved the location; right across the river with a beautiful spot to sit along it. Quiet and close to some hikes. It was about an hour drive to the center of the park. Very clean, well equipped, and lovely home. Thank you for being such a great host, we loved our stay.

Girls National Park Trip

This property and location were perfect for our girls trip to New River National Park! The house was clean and comfortable for everyone! Restaurants and stores are close by. The park is beautiful and rafting was so much fun!
