Very pleasant place to stay. House was extremely clean, very well equipped, very convenient location. Large back yard is very nice - we enjoyed watching the deer. There were 6 adults in our party - very roomy and accommodating for all.We will definitely book again.

Clean place to stay at and easy to get to winterplace from. Host had someone come plow after we got there to make sure we could get in and out. Everything worked and beds are super comfortable.

A lovely, well-appointed place for our family to stay while we went skiing locally. They had everything we needed. It was beautiful and relaxing. LOVED the book shelves with reading materials and sunny living room.

The house is cute. And worked for us. We didn’t care for it being on a busy street. The vehicle noise was hard to get use to during the day and to try to sleep. We also didn’t like the fact we couldn’t take the key with us when we left the house, per rules. Due to that we had a person/ people come in the house while we were gone. We contacted the owner about this, and left the next day for being uncomfortable. Apparently the was a scheduling conflict.

The house was very clean and had almost everything we needed. It was very comfortable for a one night stay! Some things that would be nice to add include a nightstand on both sides of each bed, as applicable, and lamps! (all lighting was overhead and harsh). There were also no checkout instructions; I had to text the host to ask what we needed to do. A printed/laminated copy would be helpful to have in the house. Overall, we would happily stay here again - even more so if the above suggestions are taken.

This home was such a refuge after a long day's drive on our road trip. The house was spotless, and from the moment you walk in the door, it has such a comfortable and welcome feel to it. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. We got a great night's sleep. The home is very quiet and insulated from any outside noises. Holli was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely recommend this home.

This home is quite comfy & clean, and perfectly located near family. We were able to bring our fur babies, and host was extremely helpful with any questions or needs when asked. She worked diligently to get internet back on after high winds knocked it out of service for awhile. The home also offered a special touch with a basket of tasty snacks! Much appreciated! We felt safe, and I would recommend this home to others for sure.

We had a really good stay at this property. It’s located in the small town of Shady Spring, which was quiet and peaceful, but still a great location overall. The house is about 10 minutes north of Winterplace Ski Resort, which made it perfect for our ski trip, and about 15 minutes south of Beckley where you can find everything you need—restaurants, groceries, and shopping.The host was great and answered all of our questions quickly, which made the stay smooth and stress-free. The home worked well for our family and was a great spot for a family ski getaway.The only thing that would have made the stay even better would have been a hot tub after long days on the slopes. Other than that, we were very happy with our experience and would recommend this place to other families planning a ski trip.

What a great stay we had! The home is roommy, clean, and comfortable. We had a doe eating apples in the back yard several times a day. She just watched the door to make sure we stayed inside while she enjoyed her snack. We had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed here in order to visit New River Gorge National Park. It was further than I anticipated from the park, but otherwise it was perfect for our group. The host was very flexible with our needs (we added more people without incident.). We appreciated her l flexibility with this. It was clean and well equipped for our needs.
