This vintage riverfront home is located on the banks of the beautiful Russian River. Riverside Hideaway is a guest cottage located downstairs from the main house on the property. There is a private entrance, private covered porch w/gas BBQ overlooking the river and sunny partially fenced yard. River access is by stairs to dock. TOT #725N
The living room features a free standing gas fireplace, wood floors, full size sofa bed and entertainment center with cable TV. Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds (queen size) (including extra down comforters) and TV in master bedroom. Bathroom is Jack and Jill style with stall shower. Kitchen has been remodeled and has newer maple cabinets, granite countertops, refrigerator, gas range and microwave. More photos available upon request. Kayaks can be available upon request.
This home is within walking distance to downtown Monte Rio, grocery store, public beach, boat rentals, movie theater, tennis courts and restaurants. Northwood Golf Course is apx. one mile away. The Pacific Coast (Jenner) is within a 15 minute drive. Guerneville is 5 miles east. We are located within a short driving distance to many Sonoma County wineries. Quaint Occidental is 10 minutes away.

Awesome spot right on the river! It was perfect for the two of us. Very clean with comfy beds, a beautiful deck and backyard garden. The kayaks worked out great. Would absolutely stay again!

Great location for a quick weekend trip
Great location on the sunny side of the river with a great dock and deck overlooking the river. Perfect for a three day stay for a family of four.

Wellness in the redwoods and river
Great area on the river, quiet and peaceful. Lovely property and gracious host. We would love to visit again.

Great location!
Beautiful deck and yard. Right on the river. Close to redwood forests and to beaches for hiking! E had a great time.

Lovely spot on the river!
We loved using the kayaks during our stay! We walked to the local beach and loved the nearby coffee shop. Was a great spot to explore the Russian River area and we would defiantly stay again.

Nice place
Great river access, many different water craft, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds—really nice sheets, attractive lawn and gardens, nice balcony with river view.

Cozy spot on the river
We enjoyed our stay at the house. it was as advertised, clean cozy and on the river with direct access. The restaurants down the street have good food and great service.

Beautiful setting..wonderful stay!
The location, our sweet host Kim and the weather all came together to create a perfect weekend for my birthday.The apartment is well decorated,clean and met our needs as a family of four. Would definitely recommend it!

I grew up in San Francisco but spent many weekends and all summer in this home in Monte Rio. My dream was to move to the Russian River and purchase this home back as my parents had sold it years before. It has been lovingly renovated keeping the old river charm. I love sharing the dream with my guests.

This home was my families summer home in the 60's and 70's. I purchased it in 1998 and have enjoyed restoring the home. I have many fond memories of summers spent at this home in Monte Rio.

I enjoy watching the wildlife along the river, kayaking or just relaxing on the deck. Dock is installed during the month of May and removed late October (Weather dependent). Kayaks are available during these times.
