‘The Great Escape - Shirley’ is secluded and surrounded by forest. You will have your own Hot Tub. The Coach is a 40' luxury Coach that has an electric fireplace, large slide-out, Corian counters, forced air heating & 1 Gbps WiFi. There is a propane fire pit, BBQ outside, wood fired pit, with lots of wood. It has a Queen ‘Sleep Number’ bed, a sofa bed and sleeps up to 4. Has a bathroom, washer & dryer, is fully furnished & equipped. Bring clothes, food and enjoy The Great Escape - Shirley
At TGE-S, you will be secluded in the rural area of Shirley, just outside Sooke, on very quaint acreage with a large wooded area beside and around it, that you’ll be nosed right into the edge of it. The Coach is fully equipped with just about everything you will need. It accommodates up to 4 guests.
Lots of linens, dishes, utensils, appliances, pots and pans, a supply of basic spices and a new microwave, and fridge/freezer, with ice maker.
Cable TV, Netflix, Telus Channels with all the Outdoors, Documentary and Sports Channels, free Fibre 1G (940+ Mbps) Internet and WiFi, with ethernet connection outlets.
It has ample free parking. Is pet friendly, for dogs only. Do come and enjoy a stay at “The Great Escape - Shirley - with Secluded Hot Tub”.
The Coach is ideal for that private ' Get-Away ' and some relaxation time away. We love to host guests at our quiet and quaint property.

TGE-S is a short 14 minute drive to downtown Sooke, with many Parks, Beaches and walking paths close by. Shirley Delicious is but a 7 minutes away. Stoked Wood Fired Pizza is an 8 minute drive and French Beach is 9 minutes away. If you want to surf, Jordon River is only 17 minutes away.
Everything from grocery stores, restaurants, medical centres and clinics, drug stores, and a multitude of other shops and stores, are all within close proximity in Sooke.
There will be a $300 Security Deposit PreAuthorized on your credit card, prior to your Check-in.
You will receive an email with your Door and Access Codes, Directions and Maps, 2 days before your Check-in date.

Amazing stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. The coach was comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in our own private hot tub at night among the very tall trees.

Great getaway in Shirley
Our hosts Ian and Jodi were awesome. We had a nice relaxing getaway and the hot tub was the icing on cake!

Great Stay
Ian was a responsive host. The RV is a bit older but well maintained.
Great place to stay if you like outdoor activities , while still being close to amenities (groceries, gas, pharmacy, etc)
Looking forward to coming back!

Great way to experience the coast!
A really nice setup, lots of privacy and easy access to the hot tub from the camper. The camper had everything we need. Hosts were available without being invasive. Will visit again!

Amazing and fun
We really enjoyed our stay here. Ian and Jodi were fantastic hosts. My grandson really enjoyed talking to Ian. We appreciated all the information that Ian shared about the area and found the hot tub very relaxing.

Quiet comfortable getaway
Enjoyed this property immensely. The outdoor amenities including the hot tub, BBQ and fire pit were terrific additions. Having laundry facilities was a great bonus. The sleep number bed and ambiance of the electric fireplace made time spent inside very comfortable.

RV & Hot Tub
The stay was great for our family of 4. We were able to soak in a hot tub after a good amount of hiking. We enjoyed the gas firepit while enjoying our morning coffee. We even had a visit from a couple of bald eagles. Enjoyed it all.

The Great Escape
The Great Escape is an affordable option in a great location for enjoyment of the west coast beaches and sights along the "Circle Route" and along Hwy 14. We enjoyed the hot tub, private accommodation, nearby lighthouse and Shirley Delicious coffee shop. The host personally walked us through the RV showing us everything in detail before leaving us to enjoy our stay.

Perfect retreat!
The Great Escape, offers just that. Thank you for a wonderful retreat. The motorhome felt like my very own forest ship! Lady, my dog and I really enjoyed exploring the area and walking all the beaches. We enjoyed ourselves so much, thanks and hope to be back!

If you wanna relax
Great place to kick back and relax with accessibility to some of the best beaches on the coast. The hot tub was great and we had everything we needed. The owner even gave me some scotch as it was my birthday and i mentioned forgetting mine. I highly recommend.
