During these concerning times, Luna Seas can offer social distancing at it’s finest. No one will meet you upon your arrival, as there is a lock box with a code containing the key. Choose to self isolate on your small piece of West Coast paradise or choose to explore the wild beaches and forests that Sooke and the surrounding areas are known for.

South facing waterfront on a private .5 acre. An unobstructed view of the Juan de Fuca strait and the Olympic mountains. Wild life abounds, with possible daily sightings of orca, seals, sea lions, otters, eagles and many more.

A jetted hot tub to take in the amazing views, the hardest choice is whether to soak with a East, South or West view.

Beautiful world renowned wilderness in close proximity, but only 7 minutes to restaurants, banks, grocery stores etc., and only 30 minutes to big box stores in Langford.

The features of the cabin are, 15' ceilings with many windows to maximize the view. A fully stocked kitchen with bar fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction hot plate and propane barbecue. All you need to bring is your food.

Private, nature-based escapism at its finest

There is a reason this place has received nothing but perfect ratings! My partner and I stayed for two nights in February (14, 15th), over a long weekend. The place is spectacular for a quiet getaway. It's hard to beat watching marine wildlife from a hot tub--we saw seals, sea lions, harbor porpoises, and possibly even a sea otter (it was too dark to tell at that time). If you're there shortly after Feb. 15, we also left some coffee grounds (there were none when we arrived, so might be good to make sure you have that if you need it!). I hope to be back again soon.

Quick get away

Nice place and the hot tub was fantastic. Close to a lot of fun outdoor activities. Really enjoyed the stay.

Great Views

Had an amazing time staying here for a couple nights after new years, saw lots of cool wildlife and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub watching the sea lions swim past and eagles fly over head.

After the Cyclone Bomb

The cyclone bomb hit two days before our stay. Glenda got hold of us to let us know the power was off and we may want to cancel the trip. 30 minutes before we had to head out to catch the ferry, Glenda called again to let us know the power was back on. So glad she did. A fabulous weekend right from the time we swung the gates open. Hot tub is a beautiful place to stargaze and loved our morning coffee on the deck watching all the sea life. The location is absolutely stunning. Just what we needed. A peaceful place to reconnect and rejuvenate

What a place !!

Got to this little paradise for our anniversary and those few days and nights just went by really fast !! A very secluded place though surrounded by other properties which you don't actually see. The views, those scenic views are priceless. Sea life, birds watching, etc. Oh, and that hot tub is a huge bonus! For those with Verizon, its reception from the US shore is stable with some Internet, no roaming. Sometimes it's good for communication purposes. Other guests reviews have lots of additional information. We both have a strong feeling of getting back sometimes to this little piece of Luna Seas !!

Birthday getaway

Second time visiting the property and it did not disappoint! The location is amazing and we were able to see whales and sea lions right from the deck! Perfect for a romantic getaway or solo vacay. The hot tub was so hot and perfect for a rainy soak. We'll be back

Beautiful Getaway

Me and my boyfriend went on our 3 year anniversary to the island, and this place just made it so much better, the view is just incredible and even saw some seals. The host is very nice and understanding. We will definitely be back here!!!

Incredible views! Small but extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Plenty of marine life and birds to watch from the deck. Hot tub positioned perfectly for stargazing at night.

Comfort on the waterfront

It was our first time in Sooke and the property location definitely enhanced our experience of the town and surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sea lions pass by as we sipped our morning coffee.

Beautiful island getaway

This is by far one of the nicest locations we have stayed at on the island. The cottage is right on the waterfront in a private location. We were treated to scenic views of ocean sunrises, sunsets, a lightning show, and a spectacular full Blue moon glistening on the water. We enjoyed watching pods of sea lions and orca whales swimming right in front of the deck.. The cottage is located near several provincial parks with great hiking trails and several beaches. It is also only a short drive to Victoria. It is a perfect size for two, with all the amenities we needed, as well as a hot tub . We will definitely come back again to enjoy this relaxing getaway!

A small cabin with a sensational view

Magnificent. Relaxing. At dusk, when the sun painted the Olympic Mountains opposite red, we felt even more at home. The sound of the waves of the Strait was very welcome. We will certainly miss it back in Switzerland.

R&R to the Max!

We had a magical time and loved our stay. The home has all you need and the views are top notch! We saw sea lions, seals, an eagle, and Orcas from the deck. The house is as advertised. It was the perfect place to rest, reflect and reconnect! 20th anniversary trip and this place made it the best!

An amazing weekend retreat!

This was the second visit for me and my husband at this location, and it won't be our last! If you need a weekend away to really relax, this is the place to do it. Enjoying wildlife while relaxing in the hot tub, or gazing out the large windows of the cabin over the water, is such a treat. Thanks for another amazing trip!

Perfectly Private Little Retreat Spot

My husband and I wholeheartedly enjoyed our 6 night stay at this little cliffside cottage. Phone service was consistently patchy and there is no wifi, both of which could lend a certain peaceful ambience to your stay or intense inconvenience, depending on the person. Also, the mattress is incredibly soft - again, this can be wonderful or painful per the individual(s), but should be noted. The kitchenette has a microwave and induction plate and there is a good grill outside. The small refrigerator is decent for basics. We did a lot of our meals at the cottage and so brought our own large cooler which helped us store most of our food. We loved sitting at the small kitchen table with amazing views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the beautiful Olympic mountain range! These views are even better from the hot tub. A little bench set away from the house made a lovely table for a sunset dinner one night and there's a resident eagle who will often visit and alight on the trees outside of the cottage. A quiet, perfectly private little retreat, this cottage is light and airy and gives the most peaceful of days and nights. Just a truly wonderful spot.
