Lovely remodeled older home, nicely appointed, clean and very comfortable. Brought our fur babies who loved the fenced in back yard. Was a nice bonus to have the 1819 General Store right across the street. Would definitely stay again.

This cottage is beautiful. It was my home away from home for a period of time and we feel in love with the property and the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Home was clean, welcoming and host was easy to communicate with. Beautifully furnished, only thing I would recommend is a couple of throw blankets for those evening you dont need the heat on and a blanket would be cozy. Store across the street was well stocked and easy to grab a bite or ice cream.

The house is super cozy and they really were thoughtful on the amenities. The fenced backyard and fire pit were great as well. The old time store across the street was great and we enjoyed all of the old cars that stopped for gas. It was about 35 minutes into Louisville, where we needed to be each day and was an easy drive. We enjoyed staying out of the city but not so far we couldn't drive it each day. The owners recommended Agave and Rye for a dinner and it was excellent and not to far away. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This was a great place! Host was very welcoming and responsive. The blend of history and modern convenience in the home were awesome. House was relaxing and comfortable. The store across the street was a wonderful addition. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Great location. Extremely clean and nicely furnished - just as depicted in listing. It's an historical property (so not a completely open floorplan) but all modern conviences are there. Host was great - easy check in, great instructions and information in the unit. Overall excellent. I would stay here again.

The house was lovely and a great place to stay. Our family had a great time! We are use to living out in the country and it was very welcoming and exactly what we’re use to. Felt like home. The country store was a great addition to our stay. Supper and snacks were close by. The house was clean and had plenty of clean towels. The hosts were fabulous!

This is a nice charming place. Very clean and very comfortable. I like the proximity to Louisville. This was our 2nd stay and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, welcoming home in the country. Short drive to the city. Perfect balance between city and quiet country living! Owners were flexible and responsive.

Perfect!

This property was amazing! The blend of modern accomodations and history within the home was breath taking. I definitely recommend this place to stay. Our stay here was for six people and we had plenty of comfort and room for all. If we are ever visiting this area again, we will definitely stay again😊

Small town

Clean place close to bigger towns. We went down for the casino. Spent the weekend plenty of towels,coffee an ect.there was nothing they didnt have that we need.

Relaxing weekend getaway

The property is newly renovated, clean, and in excellent condition - just as described. We had a quiet and relaxing weekend getaway. Convenient location to general store across the street. Enjoyed multiple parks and hiking trails in the area. Jim provided all the info and communicated well. Would stay again!
