Just steps away from Old Forester’s Paristown Hall, Breaking Records is the perfect setting for your getaway to Louisville. Great location for exploring Highlands, downtown, and Germantown!

Louisville is known for breaking records as home to boxer Muhammad Ali, the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Fried Chicken, the University of Louisville and its Cardinals, and Louisville Slugger baseball bats, not to mention the thriving music scene!

Shotgun style home features 3 bedrooms, sitting area, bathroom, laundry, and eat in kitchen. Entire home is newly remodeled. Deck has patio furniture for outdoor dining and a fire pit. Yard is not completely fenced so dogs will need to be leashed but not tethered. There is a security camera on the front and back porch. Steps are required to enter the home but once inside, it is all 1 level.

Vintage vibe

Very cool area to visit. Several things within walking distance and even more just a short drive away. We did lots of thrifting and trying new places to eat.

Lauren was very nice, and accommodating! The place is clean and very nice. There are only 2 bedrooms, when advertised as 3. The luving room has a fold out couch for a bed. We didnt feel that the living room was a bedroom, so that was a little disappointing. Overall, the place was nice, and Lauren was a wonderful host!!

Great place to stay!

The house was as described. We only needed two bedrooms so having a 3rd bedroom was not an issue. It would not have been anyway since the living room has a door to separate it. The house was very clean. The extras such as a dog kennel, food and water bowls, and treats were much appreciated! K cups for the coffee maker along with a many other extras were very nice too. There are fans in the closets if you like a fan on to sleep, folding camp chairs, plenty of towels. The steps can be a little bit of a workout so be aware if you have issues navigating stairs. The neighborhood is nice minus one cranky neighbor. If you can, be sure to check out The Vintage Market down the street. Their food was delicious and a very short walk away!

Wonderful Hidden House in Louisville

It’s small, but centrally located to everything you’d need in and around Louisville. Would stay here again.

Great property in great location!

We had a great time at this cute house! The host is very responsive and goes out of her way to check in. The property is super clean, and it’s close to most of Louisville’s best tourist attractions. Our pup also had a wonderful stay!

Great Stay

It was a great stay despite some outside issues due to weather. We had no electricity during our stay but the host Lauren was communicative and helpful.

Cute and cozy

This property was everything needed for our 3 day stay. The area is being revitalized and has a cute cafe within walking distance. We had 6 in our family plus a dog. There were dog treats waiting and a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. It was very clean and the check-in and out process was simple. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location!

If you're planning a visit to Paristown for one of their many amazing events, this location couldn't be better! Plus, it's a comfy space that's super clean with all of the amenities. This home is within walking distance of some great bars and restaurants, too. Plus, Lauren is an awesome host ... very responsive and helpful.

good location, cozy house

we had a good stay! There were no curtains or blinds in the kitchen for privacy and the thermostat would randomly turn the temperature up in the middle of the night. But, the location was a cute area with a lot of weekend activity, and the house was cozy.

Louisville Stay

My husband and I had a lovely time in Louisville. The house was comfortable and spotless and the owner has thought of everything. We loved the music theme decorations. The house had a brand new deck and was set up perfectly to sit outside and relax. We would definitely stay again.

Spring Break

Had a wonderful time and Lauren was an amazing host! She thought of ALL of the little things - check in was super easy, the house was perfect for our family and two dogs, so many wonderful little touches (snacks, extra toiletries, wood for the fire pit, treats for the doggies!) which made us feel so special! And she was so easy to communicate with. Thank you Lauren! Recommend to all!

Perfect place to stay

I can’t say enough good things about this house. It’s close to everything. It’s beautiful and spotless. It has lots of room and a back yard for the dogs. Lauren thought of everything. We were in Louisville for a family wedding at the Distil hotel. Family stayed there and spent way more for less than we got. It was an $8 Uber ride to get to the hotel vs. $32 parking. We bought bourbon with the extra money!

Music Memories

We had tickets to a concert just right across the street. Once parked at the house no need to drive unless you want to. Location is perfect, area was safe, neighborhood was friendly the host was extremely giving and kind, the house was super cute. The home is very well decorated , the bed is comfy and has plenty of hot water for showers. Once fence is put up around the back it will be even more magnificent. You won’t be disappointed, just do it!!!

Delightful!

The house was perfect for our weekend in Louisville. It's nicely decorated, comfortable, and in a great neighborhood. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening and hearing music from nearby Paristown Hall. It was actually loud enough to hear inside the house, but got quieter after 10 PM.
