We love our location too, it truly feels like true Colorado and the movie “ A River Runs Through it” it’s great that Wolf Creek is a short 20 minute drive and to town 10 minutes, to eat and all the hip restaurants, shop the boutiques and soak in Hot Springs that we all love ❤️ Although the Jacuzzi on the deck, over looking the river is our favorite soak, with the brilliant stars above! Coffee on the deck is one of the best parts of anyone’s stay at our cabin or at least mine and yours! Spirits at sunset 🌅 on the river might out rank the coffee! Hats off to Walmart and their delivery in 40 minutes or less! Of course, I left the driver a BIG TIP! We’re happy you enjoyed your coffee and stay! Happy 28th anniversary too! Thank you for sharing your thoughts of your experience and time at our cabin, that’s such a beautiful summary of your stay! That’s exactly how we feel when staying at our cabin, like we’ve have taken a step back in time. We equate our times there to the days of Andy of Mayberry, Little House on the Prairie, and The Walton’s! We love to walk or ride our bikes down to Rainbow 🌈 pond and whistle the theme song of Andy of Mayberry! When we arrive to our cabin, we immediately sit back, leave our hectic life’s at home and just relax by the San Juan River, with a deep breath and sigh of relief and pleasure. My favorite days in summer and fall are sitting on the side porch rockers, with coffee in hand, while watching the beautiful hummingbirds feed! Of course, first you need to fill those feeders, since we have an abundance of hummingbirds daily. I also love having my morning coffee or happy hour by the firepit on the deck, as I watch nature and the river flow by! I’m so glad y’all enjoyed your stay and had that wonderful experience with your two children, those are precious moment that flee to fast in one’s life. Thank you again for staying at our little gem of paradise on the San Juan, and loving our home like we do! Oh my! Look at those steaks and that yummy corn on the cob! You both enjoyed our cabin/home like we do! Lots of great times just on our deck, we believe this is the best part of Pagosa! We love to BBQ, be outside by the river, jump into the jacuzzi and sit by our fire morning to night! Yes, we hike or fish, and do fun adventures but our favorite part is just to relax from our hectic daily city life’s away from stress, noise and people. Morning coffee ☕️ to happy hour 🥂and ending our day on a clear night stargazing, with a fire and soaking our cares away in our Jacuzzi! I love providing tips to our quests so they don’t miss any of Pagosa’s highlights. I’m glad you enjoyed our bikes and the San Juan! So glad you had a wonderful stay That creek… lol is the (San Juan River) but I agree it looks like a large creek in Late September - November! Perfect time to fly fish in our backyard! In late spring and summer the SJ river is a 4-5 star kayaking river and goes all the way to town, NOT for the novice kayakers! I love September and October with the gorgeous weather and mountain falls colors! Thanks for staying with us! MAC

5 STARS! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟! Thank you for that and taking the time to write a review of your stay… we really appreciate this! I’m so happy that your 4 children had a marvelous time at our cabin! Reading this review makes me so happy! 😀 Since, I raise 5 children in this cabin every summer, that are now are grown, having new children feel the magic of our cabin brings such joy to my heart! ❤️ I try to keep up the same ambiance from when my children enjoyed all the amenities and adventures at our cabin, summer after summer. Now my 5 grand children which are the next generation, also enjoy it too! I also, have filled the cabin with decorative decor to create romantic time for couples, and honeymooners too, so it has a great combo to meet all guests needs.
