Remodeled Pet Friendly Beach House w/Pool+ Free Attraction Tickets!

This spectacular beach house is only 2 blocks (0.2 miles) from the beach, has a total of 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is located in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. This spacious private house has all new furniture, bedding & décor and can accommodate a total of 18 people with 1 king, 7 queens & 1 sleeper sofa.

*PETS, MOTORCYCLES, BOATS WELCOME!! This is a non-smoking property!
Pet Friendly (dogs only) with a $200.00 Non-Refundable Pet Fee. We do not have any breed or weight restrictions nor do we have any restrictions on how many dogs you can bring!

The main house is 2 stories with a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The 1st floor features a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room w/1 sleeper sofa, 2 dining areas, a washer & dryer, large balcony overlooking the backyard & pool area as well as 1 full bathroom, 1 bedroom w/1 king. The 2nd floor features 1 bedroom w/2 queens, a full bathroom and 1 bedroom w/1 queen.

The 2nd part of the house is a detached 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom mother-in-law suite. The mother-in-law suite is perfect for older kids who want their own space or guests that have difficulty with too many stairs. The mother-in-law suite features a small living room, fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom w/2 queens, a full bathroom and 1 bedroom w/1 queen.

The 3rd part of the house is a ground level bedroom w/1 queen and an attached bathroom near the pool.

This house was completely gutted, re-configured and remodeled from January - June 2021. The new salt water pool, measuring 25ft x 11ft with a depth of 3ft to 5ft, was installed in July 2021. The Blue Moon also features a game room complete with basketball, ping pong table, and several arcade games. The backyard/pool area is fully fenced in, professionally landscaped and has 3 picnic tables and a charcoal grill. Right behind the house is McLean Park which has 2 playgrounds, a baseball field, pond w/fountain, walking trail & picnic gazebos. Come experience this dream home while making great beach memories in North Myrtle Beach.

Not worth the money

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home did not look as good in person as the pictures. House and mother in law suite need updating. They definitely need a new cleaning crew and the game room was very small. The kids would not play the games because of the huge alive water bugs. This house is n a good location.

Youngest is seven, several teenagers, adults and seventy year old grandma, all with an area to be comfy. We were close enough to be safe, but not stacked up enough to annoy eachother. Beach Week at Blue Moon

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a pretty good house for our crew. It has a layout that allows for both "togetherness" as well as some privacy as well. However, we were disappointed that the house was not clean. We had dead ants all over one of the beds upon our arrival. We also had issue with the AC as it was extremely hot while we were there - but the property management folks did a great job in getting someone out to look at it quickly.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for a week with a large family (9 Adults, 3 kids, 2 babies). We enjoyed the size of the house, large living room, and the pool was great. Proximity to the beach was also a great perk. There was a good collection of pool toys and beach supplies for the kids to use and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. We had some issues with the house that would lead us to looking elsewhere next time. There was a leak from ceiling in downstairs bathroom to which we contacted management about and they were very responsive. Not sure it was diagnosed and just told to not use upstairs shower. The living room couches are not as clean as the photos look. The fabric on blue couch has large areas of worn fabric. The mattresses in all the beds are very cheap and almost everyone found them uncomfortable especially if sharing a bed. There was an abundance of pillows throughout the house which is great but no extra pillow cases were anywhere to be found that was difficult as some pillows had stains on them and no cases to cover them. The game room was a nice amenity but several of the games did not work or didn’t turn on. The door on main level bathroom did not lock. These all seem like easy upgrades to make but with the property also being listed for sale I worry that the motivation to improve the quality isnt there.

Blue Moon is a very special beach house. We had 14 and there was plenty of room. The pool is awesome- grandkids loved it, even the 5 month old. The ground level bedroom with bath was difficult to keep from freezing temperatures and did not exactly help with the ages of our grandkids. The dining area is split- 6 in the kitchen with 3 bar stools and then a table in the dinning area/living-room. Laundry is in the main level bathroom. North Beach Reality was prompt in answering our concerns. The location next to McClean Park was excellent. All in all our family enjoyed Blue Moon Beach House.

First I want to say the house was great! Exactly as described. There were a few things that could have been better. The vacuum canister wasn’t emptied after it was used previously. Everything was pretty dusty, very dusty actually. The pans for the stove didn’t actually sit on the stove top because they were old and bent.. There are 2 pull out couches but only 1 set of linens. The upstairs bathroom didn’t lock and there is an open shower. There were chip bags and wrappers behind the dressers and even gum stuck to the floor board. The worst part was the bed frames on 2 of the beds. They were bent and broken. The game room had only 2 working games, but we didn’t stay at the house much. It’s a great place for a large family! Everyone had space and it’s a great house. They should definitely hire a new cleaning company. And update the beds/pot and pans.. I would stay again. Even with the small things, it wasn’t a deal breaker.

Perfect for multiple Families!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation rental was great! Check-in/check-out was amazingly smooth! We loved having multiple levels to the house with different living spaces, bathrooms, etc...the two kitchens helped tremendously for cooking Easter dinner! We would definitely rent again! There a few things that we felt could be updated, such as the paint around the cabinets, cookware was very outdated and hard to cook with, dishwasher had a part inside that kept falling and we would have to keep putting it back together, the trash can for a multi family was way too small in the kitchen...the game room needs a real good cleaning (lots of spider webs on ceiling, corners, etc). Also, beach chairs and gear would be a major plus for this house! But we felt those were all minor fixes and wouldn’t stop us from renting again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house worked great for two families of four, one additional adult and plus our dog. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Can’t beat the location, a few blocks from the beach and a large park directly behind the property (playground, pickleball, walking paths, etc).There are two separate living spaces that allowed one family of four to have their own space. The main living space has enough room for both families to hang and enjoy meals together. The bedrooms in the main house are great. My main complaint with all rooms is that the beds are terrible motel style mattresses. The bedroom/bathroom on the lower level is new, but not great given it is completely isolated from the rest of the house without windows. The game room was a nice touch. It’s located in what was possibly a garage or storage area, so was a bit musty.The pool area is nice, but pool is not heated and the pool company didn’t clean it very well and furniture needs to be replaced.

A Nice Place

Our feet were stained black daily from the floors. The game room was covered in cobwebs and dirt. For a luxury house, I expected more than the bare minimum that was offered. I was a tad annoyed that for 3 days we had to go out and buy extra toilet paper and paper towels for how expensive the house is. I would have also appreciated a single laundry detergent tablet. The property management group were professional and let us check in early which was great. I probably wouldn't stay again, but it is a nice house.

Family Vacation

Annual family vacation was awesome staying at Blue Lagoon. Plenty of room for 14 people. Pool area was the best, spent a lot of time hanging out there. Very short walk to the beach, or ride on golfcart. Would definitely visit again!
