Excellent location

The location is near DC. The apartment is older and there are three flights of stairs to get into the apartment, but our stay was okay.

Pleasant Stay

This host offers a quaint stay for a single traveler like me. No frills but all the basic amenities needed. A short walk to the Metro station is very convenient and since I drove into DC, the visitor parking pass was a great bonus. Most importantly, a very clean living space.

Cherry Blossom race weekend

Host communication was the best I've ever had! Neighborhood was quiet, easy walk to the Stadium/Armory metro station. Everything went perfectly!

East Capital Hill Stay!

Sand, was a great host! communication and instructions were spot on! Sand went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed! Enjoyed the home away from home feel of the space and it was easy to around the city from the location. Looking forward to booking again!

Excellent. Great communication with host. Everything we hoped for. Disappointed that some of the photos are shot from deceptive angles but almost all the VRBO listings have this issue

Our Nest is the Best

Sandra was very responsive in answering questions, and checked in to make sure we were settled and happy. She had also reached out to let us know that the extra day we were hoping for was available. We would give her high marks as a caring host!

Didn't work out well for us. We were unable to stay there, the chemical cleaner smell was so strong it triggered my wife's asthma and she couldn't stop coughing. The owner was nice and tried to help, but there was just not enough air flow to flush the place. It was clean and would have worked out, they just overdid the use of the cleaning chemicals.Side note, be prepared for stairs if you reserve this place its about 40 steps(maybe 38) from street to your living area.

Cozy place to sleep in DC

Great place to unwind after touring DC museums and historical sites. The Stadium-Armory metro stop is only a few blocks away, so it's easy to catch the major lines to the Smithsonian museums, White House, Capitol, etc. We drove in so Sand had a street parking pass for us. That allowed us to visit the second Smithsonian Air & Space location by the airport. Then we drove to Manassas, VA to check out the visitor center before heading back. So we didn’t spend a lot of time here except to sleep, but it was clean, the beds were comfy & Sand made sure we had everything we needed.

Quick race weekend

When I rent a vrbo for races that I travel too, I only care about the comfort of the bed and the effectiveness of the shower. For this space, those were the two best things which was perfect for me. Additionally, for any of the issues that I may have had while staying here, Sand was immediately responsive and helpful in remedying them. I appreciated that.

Good, clean stay

Sand is very on top of communicating. The apartment is on the second floor and has two rooms - one bedroom and one living room that has been converted into BR. The apartment was clean including the toilet, shower. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. A bit far if you want to take the metro - it did not matter to me as I had to take uber anyway. Overall I would recommend for single or couples to stay. Probably a bit cramped for families.
