Lovely Cottage

10/10 AOur stay at Geneva and Peter’s cottage was absolutely awesome!They truly thought of everything, and went above and beyond what most VRBO locations have provided to us on other trips.Geneva and Peter quickly answered all of our questions, and were courteous, friendly, and helpful.The cottage was extremely clean and well stocked. It is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, which we loved. We walked the neighborhood and to a couple of restaurants in the area and felt safe. The cottage is not too far from restaurants, supermarkets, and the metro. If you are a party of 3 or less and are coming to the Arlington/DC area, I highly recommend this cottage.We will definitely be staying here on future trips to the Arlington area or if we are passing through on a trip further north.Thank you Geneva and Peter!

Home away from Home

All the reviews are spot on. What I can add to those is this rental is like being in your home. It was cozy, comfortable and oh so clean! We will definitely be back as our son lives in the area.

Cottage with Character

This cottage was a great find for our three day getaway to explore the DC area. Nestled on a gorgeous and private home property, close to the DC attractions. This cottage is new, very clean and beautifully designed and decorated. You should love it!

Well located for DC, peaceful cottage with great host

Clean, well taken care of, very comfortable bed, with 2 full baths (1 on each floor, very handy), great instructions for blinds and all appliances and helpful maps and information for DC. Would highly recommend as a great alternative to a hotel and a top notch VRBO. Parking ideal, right by the property.

CLEAN, New, Ideal Location

This was an impressive VRBO and decided on an alternative Christmas trip to DC and NYC last minute. The host was very responsive and the cottage has pretty much everything you would need for a short or long stay. I loved the neighborhood and the proximity to the attractions downtown. Very clean, new and private. Would definitely stay here again in the future

Look No Further!

This little house is perfection and is a top notch example of why I choose owner rentals over hotels. There are so many small touches... coffee, snacks, and every toiletry imaginable. The home is spotless, location is excellent and the neighborhood is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Perfect cottage!

As former residents of the DC area, we were hoping to find a place that would feel like home. The cottage was perfect! The space, the location, the amenities and the little touches (chocolates on the bed ;) made our week long stay to visit family + friends simply wonderful.

Convenient Cottage in Charming Neighborhood

The folks who own this little hideaway are good communicators, and provided us an impeccably clean cottage that is organized, intuitive to use/live in, and convenient to every amenity in Arlington with a 10-minute walk through an idyllic Rockwellian Arts & Crafts neighborhood. Hard to beat! Will be back!

Wonderful place for our DC cisit

This backyard cottage was fantastic for our DC trip. The house was neat and clean with everything we needed for our stay. The neighbor was also great. A short walk to the metro made all of DC available to us.

Honestly one of the nicest VRBOs weve ever stayed in. Great cottage in a very nice residential neighborhood a short walk from the metro. Lots of nice touches inside. The owner was very responsive when we had a question about the door lock. Would definitely stay again.

A Gem

A spot only the locals would know about! I absolutely loved this cozy comfy home (away from home) a little city and little country (in the city), yet a quiet oasis - elegant and simplistic, inclusive of the necessaries. Highly recommend!!

It was great!

My rental car was stolen from me in downtown DC and they really helped me out and were very very patient as I went well over the checkout time and other guests were due to arrive sooner than later! They are awesome. Great place.

Excellent option when visiting out nation’s capital

A cute stand alone cottage recently built with all the modern amenities you could ask for in a quiet residential area. The host was gracious and accommodating. It absolutely deserves the excellent reviews it has garnered. From the higher end amenities to the electronic shades, everything was top notch. You will not be disappointed. Book with confidence. Super Cool Cottage

Could. Or have enjoyed my stay at the cottage more. Great location for those visiting DC. Owners were super helpful and responsive. I felt like I was with family. The place was clean and the surroundings are very peaceful. Couldn’t recommend more.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Geneva and Peter’s backyard cottage was wonderful. It was exactly like the listing and extremely clean. Parking is a breeze (and free!). They truly thought of all the little extras you may need - toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, makeup wipes, feminine hygiene products, etc. and a few little snacks and chocolates! The bed was very comfy, the only thing to note is that the bedroom does not get very dark if you are a sensitive sleeper.

Delightful!

Our three night stay was all too short! This gorgeous cottage definitely makes the short list of our all time favorites. The property is beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming -- very clean & tranquil as well. The location was just about ideal for our needs. Baskets of snacks and spare toiletries were much appreciated too. Thank you Geneva & Peter! We recommend a visit and would love to stay again.
