Mammaw's Mountaintop Retreat

It's super cozy, private, quiet, & the perfect get away. Located on 1.38 acres, this 3 bed/2 bath home is across the street from Petit Jean State Park and Lake Bailey. It's also walking distance to the Outpost, Coffeehouse, & very close to Visitors Center, campgrounds, & Museum of Automobiles. Gnomes are hidden throughout the grounds & makes for a fun search for the whole family and deer frequent the property in the evenings. Please note: The 2 bathrooms are in each bedroom suite. The "kids" room with the three twin beds must use the bathrooms in the suites. The security cameras are on the roof. One faces the highway, one faces the driveway and shed.

This was the perfect house for our family. Very comfortable quiet area. It feels like visiting grandmas house. Every room has plenty of space. The kiddos had fun finding all the Gnomes. Easy check in and out and quick responses to any questions I had!

What a great find! The location was perfect, right outside of Petit Jean Park so hiking was quick to get to. The porch was a great place to sit and watch the birds, squirrels, and a few more creatures. The house was well stocked and had comfortable beds and a big kitchen table for board games. Our hosts were very kind and great had clear communication. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we had a great time.

Loved this little house, right next to lots of trails for the park. Walking distance to the lake for fishing. Has a cute coffee shop and store walking distance. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a great time! The property was perfect location, 1 mile from Petite Jean state park and coffee shop next door. The house looked smaller than it realy is, it was spacious and perfect layout. Kids loved playing the gnome hunt game, roasting hotdogs and smores. At night extreme quiet. Amenities are abundunt. Will book again!

Great little spot on the mountain. A minute or less from the outpost and coffeeshop in one direction and state park in the other. Secluded backyard with plenty of seating. Nice fire pit and outdoor kitchen. Decent size for a small family. Only real complaint is the door on the master bedroom and second bedroom with bathroom in it. The master has a sliding barn style door that leaves a gap plenty big enough between the door and the wall for anyone walking to by to see right in, doesn't lock. The door on the other bedroom is a normal sliding door but it also doesn't lock.

Loved our 3 night stay at this cute cabin. Was perfect for hiking Petit Jean, grilling and hanging out enjoying the peaceful wooded setting. Cabin had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing this lovely get a way with us.

The location of the house is within walking distance to the coffee shop and all trailheads are within a 10 minute drive! There was no lakeview due to drought conditions, but the property is still pretty. Seven adults fit perfectly in the home and we had an amazing time.
