Beautiful home on the North brow overlooking the Arkansas River. 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, King bed in Master bedroom, Queen bed in bedroom # 2, 2 queen beds in bedroom # 3, 2 decks, open beam ceiling and beautiful oak floors in Great Room, laundry room, and Direct TV. Beautiful tiled floors and granite tops in Master bath and in the 1/2 bath. Granite countertops and stainless appliances in kitchen. Near hiking trails, lake, lodge, and visitor center which offers daily ranger-led activities.

Great Place!

We had a great time and what a great view from the cabin, plenty of space, and everything we needed to spend time with family. Also, It’s just a short drive to Petit Jean State Park.

Great view, great location, great accommodations.We had my in-laws 60th anniversary celebration here about 6 years ago, and they both recently passed away less than a month apart. My father in law is from near Casa, so he decided to have their celebration of life at the same house. Owner is very nice and responsive, property manager is as well. With the park only 5 min away, you will be very pleased with this VRBO property.

This place was perfect. Gorgeous view of Arkansas river, short drive to Petit Jean state park, and plenty of room.

Good family time

We spent Thanksgiving here with our family. It was great! The house was very nice and the view was awesome. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic fall break!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay to enjoy Petit Jean. The owner was wonderful in communicating with us and the cabin is very clean and updated. We would highly recommend it for a family with children.

Loved the property!

This property was wonderful. It was very clean and updated, and had more than ample room for our family. The house was amazing and the view from the deck was spectacular!! Just wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful House; Great Location

This house was perfect for a long weekend getaway with some friends. It was so convenient to go over to Petit Jean State Park for hiking and kayaking- the drive was barely five minutes. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. We absolutely loved our stay!

The home was spacious and comfortable for 5 adults and 2 young children. Raining often when we were there so morning coffee was at the large windows over looking the deck and views. We squeezed in outside activities in the afternoons. Looking forward to a return trip with sunnier weather.

Beautiful location!

The view far surpasses the pictures! Inside was lovely and had all we needed. We were close to hiking, which we came for, plus horseback riding, canoeing, paddle boating, and just gazing at the view. The hiking also had options for all levels - plus bike trails that were paved for easier efforts. We’ll bring fishing poles next time. Great stay!

Perfect!

Perfect getaway! We spent our Thanksgiving holiday in this wonderful home and had a great stay. The home has a cozy feel but has room for everyone. We spent every morning drinking our morning coffee enjoying the view. Convenient location to the state park for hiking and exploring, and convenient also to Morrilton for shopping. Will definitely book again.

Excellent home and location

Our 5 night stay in this home on Petit Jean was amazing! The home is so close to the state park and has a beautiful view over the valley and river. I enjoyed every morning having my coffee with the perfect view. All 6 of our kids LOVED it! We hope to come back next year! Jessica B

Perfect getaway

We came to Arkansas to view the total solar eclipse. Did not disappoint!! The house was clean and welcoming and the view was amazing!! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We had a wonderful time. The Virts family

Rest, relaxation, and reconnect with nature

A beautiful and private location but only a few minutes drive from Petit Jean State Park. We loved the huge picture windows with a wonderful view of the Arkansas River and valley below. We had coffee on the deck in the mornings, spent the days hiking at Petit Jean State Park, watched beautiful sunsets at Mather Lodge, and then went back to the house to sit on the deck and look at the stars at night. The house had everything we needed.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful location and view near a wonderful state park where you can hike or drive for more beautiful scenery. Karen responded quickly to inquiries. Such a nice escape from cares of the world. My DIL in Taiwan wants to come with the family when they can fly again. Hope to come back again, ourselves. You will be delighted if you stay here.

Summer Getaway

Loved the property. Very welcoming and warm. Minor issue of stubborn key box to get access but owner helped overcome at arrival and departure. Was sad the lower deck was under repair and could not be accessed but was not a major letdown as upper deck was so nice. View was just as gorgeous as pictured in website.

Experience the view

The home was the perfect size to accommodate our group of 6. Very nice living area with the open view of the river. We love Petit Jean and were happy to be so close to the park after all the park accommodations had filled up. We were there in mid October after a very dry summer so the park was very dry.The Creek wasn't flowing much and the waterfall was a trickle even so Petit Jean still didn't disappoint! Karen was great at communicating and very helpful with all our questions. We would definetly stay there again!

Great family spot

We had six of us, two generations, and we all enjoyed the views and the wonderful great room to gather in. We sat on the deck much of the time and played games at the large table in the great room. We all loved the shower room in the master bath with the overhead rain shower head. Sleeping was quiet and comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and she always responded quickly to any question we had. We spent all of our time away from the house at Petit Jean State Park. Wonderful hiking trails and overlooks. Outside the Park, there was ice cream and coffee shops, and we had both! Thanks for the fun place to gather together with our family from Minnesota, South Dakota, and Texas.

My father was born on this mountain in 1927 and, in fact, 6 generations of my family (dating back to the 1800s) have either lived here or have enjoyed its beauty. As a child, we celebrated many family reunions and family vacations here. Now my children and grandchildren love to visit every chance they can. Please enjoy my Family Wall with pictures of 6 generations beginning with my great grandmother, Mary Bird Gasaway.
