Newly Updated House with California King Bed!

Our home was completely remodeled on Lake Chemung. Spend all day on the lake and watch the beautiful sunset at night. We have two lots, one the house sits on with a fenced in back yard and deck with a kids play set, and the other we have a large fire pit, seating, yard games and 40ft dock. Kayaks and paddle board for rent. Inquire upon booking. The house is a 1 bedroom, with king size bed and 1 bathroom. We offer Queen size aero beds as well for extra sleeping and a couch. We also have toddler cots you can request. Our backyard has a grill, fire pit and a swing set for kids to play on. We are approximately 3.8 miles from Mt. Brighton Ski resort for winter time activities. We currently live just a mile down the road, so if you have any issues or concerns please reach out to us directly.

Well maintained lake house in great location

House is in a very good location close to everything and near the boat ramp. It is very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of natural light and house is well stocked with all the essentials. Neighbors on both sides are nice. The host is very responsive and extremely easy to work with. Looking forward to our visit next year.

Comfortable and clean on a nice all sports lake.

The house is nicely updated, comfortable, clean and well appointed. The private backyard with play structure & fire pit are nice. The lake is good sized and is all sports, dock is good, boat ramp is close by, and there are fish in there.

Cute and clean

The property was well decorated, comfortable and accommodating! The neighbors were friendly and the sunset over the lake, with its pinks and oranges was gorgeous! Close enough to the grocery store incase we needed anything, yet away enough to disconnect, recharge and enjoy!

Cozy Cottage

Family had a great stay. Melissa was a great host and easy to communicate with. Loved the open concept of the cottage. Rental use of the pontoon allowed us to enjoy time on the water.

Perfect

We absolutely loved our stay! I have stayed in my rental homes, but none have been as welcoming as Melissa and Phil's place. It was immaculate. It was decorated and prepared as if they were welcoming family. From the towels to the bedding, we felt invited! Downtown Brighton is adorable and the restaurants are amazing. Don't hesitate... you won't be disappointed

Just what we needed

We were in town for a graduation. We needed a place for two nights. This was a perfect place for the two of us for a few nights. It looks brand new. The welcome snack were a great touch! We would love to bring our grandkids back to do some water activity and play in the back yard.

Short Getaway

The cottage was clean and accurately described. It was a great spot to land for a couple of days and close to both Howell and Brighton. Melissa was prompt in her communication and accommodating. Thank you for the great stay.

Lake Life At Home

We rented this house to visit my family in the Brighton and south Lyon area. This house is close enough to the freeway to get everywhere within 20-40min but it’s also in a low traffic area where you get that up north vibe. Hosts were helpful and would stay again.

Remarkable home

Beautiful home, clean and well organized…and the decor! There were a lot of extra touches throughout the home to help make our mini-vacation peaceful. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is unique as the house sits on one lot and there is an entire open lake lot for your enjoyment on the water. Fish off the 40ft dock or ask about using our kayaks and paddle boards to get out on the water.

You are welcome to bring your own boat to launch on the public launch. We are close to several metro parks and close to the downtown Brighton or Howell scene. Ask us at anytime for recommendations.
