Authentic 100 Year Old Farmhouse, Farm setting in the foothills of the Smokies
Enjoy the beauty of East Tennessee with a stay in this authentic 100 year old farmhouse. Located close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but far enough away to get out of the crowds and traffic. Both Douglas and Cherokee Lakes are close by as well as convenient access to Knoxville and Morristown. Enjoy a peaceful vacation, business trip, or fishing excursion while staying on a working farm surrounded by animals and wildlife.
We have made some general updates to a 100+ year old house to provide modern comfort and convenience. However, we wanted to keep the authentic farmhouse charm with our décor. You will find the home furnished with antiques and will notice pictures throughout the house of Henry and Altha Puckett who called this place home from the 1940's until Mrs. Puckett passed away at the age of 103 in 2015.
This property is located on a working farm, so you may see several activities going on during your stay depending on the season. Generally your view will consist of a quiet pasture with cattle grazing and the occasional deer or wild turkey passing through. Plenty of parking is available near the house, we just ask that you do not block access to the barn with your vehicles during the day.

Definitely the real deal. Brought back so many memories of the houses I grew up running in and out of. The antiques were so cool... I was wishing I could tune in WSM on that huge old radio! Great sunset spot.

Wonderful farm setting
Beautiful property, peaceful setting, great location! Wonderful host as well, we could not have asked for anything more, highly recommend!

Perfect location for our annual trip. We did a lot of activities so basically just slept there :)

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. It was nice and peaceful and a great location. The owner left a nice basket of food and snacks for us. One small complaint is that there was some sort of alarm chirping loudly at all hours of the day and night, not sure if it was the smoke detector or carbon monoxide or something else.

I’m so sorry about the alarm. It was the battery on the smoke alarm. I wish you had mentioned it to me during your visit. I always leave batteries in case of things like this. I could have told you how to fix it or come to your rescue and took care of it. I am so sorry!

Thanksgiving Get Away
Beautiful farm house in a quite area, just what we were looking for. Enjoyed the treats and cozy atmosphere. Will be back hopefully next year.

It was awesome!! We enjoyed waking up every morning & watching the cows! And the added snacks/ treats- so nice!

Anfitrión: Heather Martin
The Puckett House is adjacent to our working farm. Adam is an Agriculture teacher at the high school level and Heather is a Family and Consumer Science teacher at the high school level. Our family farm consist of a beef cattle operation where we also grow sweet corn and fescue hay. We have three children who enjoy farm life in the rural, peaceful area of East Tennessee.
