We have just finished a full and complete renovation on this flat. It's right on Leith Walk and you can walk to Waverly station in 15 minutes. We're surrounded by shops and restaurants of all types that you can imagine. Old town is also about a 15 minute walk away. If you want to be in the centre of the city, but just a few minutes away from the nightlife and tourist attractions, this is the place to be.

Great directions for getting into apartment, clear and easy. Perfect location, close by restaurants and grocery stores. Stayed while running Edinburgh marathon and worked perfectly.

Great location, near a little Tesco and several amazing restaurants. Easy access to rest of Edinburgh by tram or bus. Appreciated the ear plugs.

The flat was in a great spot, clean, tidy and well appointed. It was a little difficult to find when we got there. All the doors and door handles could do with a bit of oil!It was a great apartment at such a good price for August and Andrew was very helpful with speedy communication.Thank you

The location was good for us easy to walk to and we have two young kids, the place was clean and tidy beds were comfortable. The noise wasn’t an issue for us but ear plugs were provided the only negative would be there were only two bowls and for a family of four this didn’t work but was not the end of the world.

Super convenient to Leith Walk and old town. The tram stops in front of the flat. It’s a little noisy until later in the evening but not bothersome. Host was very clear with instructions but it was difficult to find with SAT NAV as it put you at the store fronts not the actual road to get to the car park and the flat. Nice place though and very convenient.

This was the perfect location! It was a quick walk to the metro that was an easy ride to the city centre. The place was spacious and clean. It did get a little noisy especially having to keep the window open during the summer but after a day of walking and fun we slept hard. Great food and cafe's very close by. Would stay here again!

Spacious and comfortable

Andrew's property was clean and spacious. The beds and couch were comfortable, and the shower and laundry were easy to operate. The exterior door to building 1 was a little difficult to find, but the place was overall a great crash pad for our time in Edinburgh.

Leith Walk Urban Retreat

This modest 2 bedroom apartment situated us well for our 2 night stay in Edinbugh. Off the center of the bustling city, a 25 minute stroll gained you access to all the sites. Even walkable, was Arthur's Seat and Holyrood where we happened upon the King's helicoptor landing for the annual Garden Party. Magical! Don't let the access from the alley and strret noise concern you. We felt very secure and loved the neighborhood establishments!

Good location near bars restaurants and a supermarket

A lovely clean flat with everything you need. The only negative would be the larger bed rocked every time the other person moved waking you up so we didn’t get much sleep. The kitchen had a good selection of cupboard items including teas and coffee but we couldn’t find a cafetière to use the fresh coffee which was the only thing we would have used. The flat overlooks a busy street which is fine as long as you take earplugs.

Perfect location. Far enough away from Old Town and Waverley to get some distance from all of the foot traffic, but close enough that everything was in reach. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and walk down to Leith and take in the pubs and restaurants along the water. Overall, a great, secured, and well-appointed apartment.

I read previous reviews re noise from street and i was pleasantly surprised as we heard minimal noise and slept well. The information received orior to our stay was excellent and easily understood and most appreciated. I would highly recommend this property. It had everything we needed. Lived the location - 1.3 kilometres into royal mile. A 2 minute walk to Tesco’s and right near bus and tram. The water pressure was excellent as was the comfort of the beds in the 2 rooms. There was heating and fans. The car park was good - Loved this property will give it 10/10
