This is a nice property with views of and access to the river. It's well stocked with everything a visitor might need.

We had a lovely time with our two small cairn terriers at this house. The views from the deck were fantastic, and the house was beautiful, clean and supplied well with towels and kitchen utensils and furnishings. My only issue is with the property description saying it was pet friendly but once you book you learn that you cannot leave the dogs in the house unattended. While this is common in hotels, it isn't in "dog friendly" home rentals and it comes close to ruining a vacation. I would not recommend this place for dog owners for that reason. Also, it's very difficult to get into the river from this house or street, but once you brave the rocky entry this section of river is wonderful for swimming, wading and floating.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’re so glad you enjoyed the home, beautiful views, and river. Our pet policy asks that dogs not be left unattended unless they are safely crated. Dogs can become anxious in an unfamiliar home, sometimes resulting in excessive barking, panic, or accidents and damage to furnishings. For the safety of the dogs and the home, we ask guests to either crate their dogs when away or bring them along. This policy is disclosed prior to booking so guests can determine whether the home is the right fit for their pets. The river is accessed directly from the property by concrete steps. When water levels are exceptionally low, the river can fall below the final step, which may have been the case during your stay. Thank you again for staying with us!

Great visit!

Spent a few days here with some friends and their young children. The space was perfect for our visit and we loved the location!

We had a decent stay at Riverfront. Having the house by the river was pleasant. We were a bit disappointed to find that the hot tub was below the deck and we couldnt use it at night since there seem to be no outdoor light. Overall it was nice secluded stay.

Great location and beautiful view

Great location, close to wineries and downtown Healdsburg. Would highly recommend this place to others. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We went with another couple and both bedrooms were great!

Check in was easy, location was nice, being on the river great, hosts were super great.A few areas they could improve on; nicer outdoor furniture, table and chairs were rickety and old, TV was just slightly bigger than a computer screen.All in all, we had a great time and love that they accept pets!

Lovely River Home

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is airy and comfortable with a large deck that really allows you to enjoy the outdoors. Direct access to the river was also fantastic. A great way to spend a relaxing week.

We appreciated having a place to stay in Sonoma wine country and enjoyed the convenience of being close to Santa Rosa. The unit was simple and met our basic needs, though a bit more comfort would have made the Napa experience feel special. It also would have been wonderful if the host could have accommodated our early check‑in request after our long flight. The personal touch would have made our experience a bit more special on this trip.

Excellent Sonoma Getaway

This cabin is in a great location on the east side of Fitch Mountain and along the Russian River. It feels remote but Healdsburg is ten minutes away.

Close location

Our goal was to spend time shopping and wine tasting in Downtown Healdsburg, and this property was a perfect distance away! Being able to sit and enjoy coffee overlooking the river was perfect. The bathroom and kitchen are small but have everything you need!

Lovely stay

Beautiful riverside property within accessible distance to downtown Healdsburg. We enjoyed daily runs into town from the house (testing our legs on the hills). The deck was perfect for happy hour and charcuterie with ample shade for the already warming days. Perfect for 4 close friends/family.

Lovely spot for a weekend

The house was great and overlooked the river. Neighborhood was quiet in April. We had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. About 10 minute drive to Healdsburg.

Short relaxing stay on the river

The perfect cabin for a weekend get away. Stocked with everything you need, in great condition and on the river. Had coffee on the porch in the morning, watched the kayakers go by all day, kayaked in the afternoon and headed to town for dinner. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful, relaxing stay on the river. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy Uber ride into town for wine tasting or dinner. House is as advertised in the pictures. Use of kayaks was great, though water is low right now. Beautiful view from deck while eating outside. Especially nice to have a grill to BBQ on. We used almost every night. Will definitely come back.

What a Delightful Home

Oh boy...what a great and I mean great location. Lots of windows that let you view the beautiful trees, squirrels and blue jays. Great house. Perfect space.

Weekend on the river

We felt like the property was accurate to the listing. We really enjoyed playing in the river with the floaties and kayaks. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing

It was an amazing river house, only downside is that it was a bit difficult to get in and out of the river and there were deflated floats scattered around the river bank and hot tub area.

Perfect girl's weekend on the water

My best friend and I (plus my dog) very much enjoyed this property. Conversation with the rental company was top notch. The two bedrooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we need to cook meals after enjoying the river all day. It could use a few more staples (oven mitts, aluminum foil, saran wrap, a few pieces of tupperware) but otherwise really great. The upper deck is lovely for bird watching and the lower level concrete slab by the river was perfect for hanging out and having a nice cocktail. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Just ok

My friends and I really wanted to love this home but we ran into several issues. It was over 100 when we were there and the swamp cooler at the property is pretty much useless (and there are no directions to operate). We wanted to open the windows to get the cooler air in at night but none of the windows or doors have screens, so a lot of bugs flew in and we quickly had to close them. We also were excited about using the river but no where in the listing does it say that there is not really any access on the property to the river. It is riverfront (the main reason we rented this property) but there are no stairs, etc so it's pretty dangerous to get down and up, especially for my pregnant friend. Lastly, the house needs some more comfy furniture inside and outside. There were only 2 chairs outside that were not broken so all 4 of us could not sit outside together. Inside, the sofa is comfortable but the other living room furniture is not suitable for adults so a couple of my friends were always sitting on the floor. Beds were comfortable, we liked the location and there is a definitely a charm to the place, but some minor adjustments to the property would make it much more enjoyable.
