Great location. Family friendly. Comfortable beds. Everything you could need to cook. The fireplace was a bonus. Everything worked.

Great Family House

Such a great property for a family getaway. The house was clean and spacious enough for everyone and there is so much to do in the area. Would definitely rent again.

We had a great stay at this property in Michigan! The house itself was beautiful, the views were amazing, and the location was excellent. It’s in a quiet area but still very close to everything we wanted to do.The access to the dunes was fantastic, and we especially enjoyed having the dock and shallow lakefront right at the property. The water was only a couple of feet deep near the shore, which was perfect for the kids to safely play and enjoy the lake. There’s also a general store very close by, and we loved being so close to Mac Wood’s Dune Rides, Whippy Dip, and other kid-friendly activities.Our only real criticism was the cleanliness, particularly around the exterior of the house. We completely understand that insects and bugs are part of lake life, but we felt the exterior could have used a little more attention. The interior was generally nice, but we would rate the overall cleanliness around a B.That said, this was a relatively minor issue compared with everything we enjoyed about the property. The house, views, location, lake access, and proximity to local attractions made for a really enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a great family getaway.

Beautiful home within minutes of SO MANY activito

Absolutely gorgeous home & property. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could ever need for entertaining, clean spacious & comfortable bedrooms. We had our entire blended family here...all the kids (27-13) & their "plus ones"... Plenty of activities to do at the house and in the area. We canoed, fished, SUP, crossed the lake and spent the day at the beach, rode the Sand Dunes everyday, rode bikes into town, Mac Dunes, rented tubes and floated down from Stoney Lake, found trails to hike the dunes to pristine beach on Lake Michigan. Grand Haven, Ludington, Pentwater are so close and so fun to visit... Definitely would recommend as a place for the entire family to have a great time☺️

Amazing home and location!

We were a family group including 83 year old to 12 year old. Amazing location! We are from out of state so didn't know the area. The house is exactly as it appears and is gorgeous. Lots of room indoors and the outdoor space is vast. Nice green lawn, many outdoor chairs and seating areas, fire pit and even a sandy spot for the kids to play. I'm delighted we stayed on Silver Lake as the water is warm and fun to play in. There is a large shallow area right in front of the house where we could swim, throw the frisbee, etc. Then we could also go to Lake Michigan quite easily, which was much more ocean-like with waves and cooler waters. We walked to the Whippie Dip each evening for ice cream - only two bocks away. Great fun taking the kayaks, SUP and paddleboat over to the dunes. Perfect spot - you cannot go wrong here! Jennifer is a great host!

Could not have asked for a better home for our two families of 4. We easily could’ve fit another family with the space above the garage. The house had everything we needed- Ive never stayed in a rental that was that well appointed! Location was perfect. The house sits in a quiet corner of the lake but we could easily paddle over to the dunes and up a little creek with the paddle boards and kayaks . We were also walking distance to Mac Woods dune rides and Whippy Dip ice cream. We went down to Craig’s corner for dinner at the Chicken Shack and fun at the go cart/ putt putt place one night and that was fun- it’s a 10-min drive so nice and close. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone.
