The description referenced in this review was not updated following this guest’s stay. Prior to booking, the listing disclosed that the property is situated on seven wooded acres and that beach access is reached by a scenic trail leading to 220 stairs descending to the private beach. The listing also describes the lake views and panoramic sunsets that can be enjoyed from the newly renovated stairway and its multiple landings. Unfortunately, this guest made the decision to leave after only two nights of a two-week reservation and subsequently requested a refund for the remaining unused nights. The matter was reviewed with Vrbo, and the reservation remained subject to the agreed-upon booking terms. We certainly understand that a secluded, wooded property with a trail and 220-step beach access may not be the right fit for every traveler, which is precisely why we make these details clear in the listing so guests can determine whether the property is a good fit for their stay before booking.
