Indulge in historic Downtown Savannah in this artfully decorated 2 story carriage house. Great location steps from Forsyth Park! Shared courtyard and patio area to enjoy the coastal weather. Downstairs bedroom and full bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower plus upstairs loft bedroom offers a serene escape. Full kitchen. Washer and Dryer.

While the property offers manicured comforts and Southern panache, the surrounding neighborhood, known as the Victorian district, affirms Savannah's status as a premiere vacation destination. The Victorian District was home to famous Revolutionary war heroes and dignitaries, including Eli Whitney and Juliette Gordon Low, founder of The Girl Scouts of America. This quaint, pristine landscape is pedestrian friendly, with quick access to guided bus tours, horse-drawn carriage rides, and The Fragrant Garden for the Blind. The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) main campus is close by, as are numerous world-class, trending restaurants offering a plethora of dining options an easy walk or bike ride away.

Dancers Dream

My daughter and I stayed here for a week for a dance competition. It was perfect for the two of us. Loved the proximity to Forsyth Park and even downtown wasn’t too far to walk to. Comfortable living and sleeping quarters. Our only question in the most haunted city in America… Is this place haunted?

Perfect Location

Love the proximity to Forsyth! We had a beautiful weather weekend so it was especially lovely to be able to enjoy the park. Home had all we needed to relax and enjoy visiting our daughter who is at SCAD.

Great spot for a quick stay!

Would definitely stay here in the fall, winter or spring for a night or two again! Plenty of street parking and felt totally safe to be leaving our cars. It’s right on Forsyth Park so perfect for Saturday morning market strolls. The unit stays pretty temperature regulated but the nature of a loft and older building means it will get a little warm but cools down fast. Just likely wouldn’t stay here in the summer with the heat. Everything was as described. The shower is tiny but again, that’s in the description so just be aware. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were firm and comfortable.

Vacation in Savannah

Great little place to stay location was perfect. The property was a little difficult to find the first time and parking was a little difficult. Also the coffee maker spits coffee everywhere when brewing single cups. The back door could use a curtain to help with more privacy. Overall good little place to stay.

Charming Home - GREAT location and quiet.

Thank you for an amazing stay in Savannah. LOVED your attention to detail with everything - from specific directions on how to get there, the book in the property on tips on busses, etc - the decorations, etc. We will most definitely be back. Found a great little place 2 blocks from your home on open table for night #1. all good - I so appreciate conscientious hosts like you.

Quaint carriage house off Forsyth Park

Quaint carriage house off Forsyth Park, walkable towards the river with a dot and shuttle stop close. Comfortable beds and roomy for our group. A few suggestions, thermostat goes to 78 each day and upon return to to carriage house in late pm or evening it takes 2.5 hrs to cool down. Linens could be fresher, shower tub is slippery and very confined with curtains yet artistically quaint if you were to bathe. The back door glass needs a shade for privacy to bathroom and moving around home. Local fare and suggestion book was nice and pur water in fridge helped with drinking water. Collins corner cafe is delicious and super close in park and Saturday morning farmers market was a plus. Parking worked out well.

Great Location

This property was exactly as advertised. Only a 20 min walk to the river and minutes from a great coffee shop, Forsythe Park and Collins restaurant. The stairs are not as scary as they look. We were able to get a medium sized suitcase up there with no problem. Watch your head if you’re sleeping on the sloped side of the room lol. Comfy beds. Gave 4 stars for checkin because I didn’t get checkin instructions until less than 24 hours of our stay but that may have been a VRBO problem. Also, it would have been very convenient, and out of the way, to put 4 wheeled suitcases in the entryway upon our arrival rather than pay to store them while we toured the city and waited for 3pm. Would stay again.

Unique Space with great style

This property other than being adorable if you appreciate old charm, angled ceilings and spiral staircases is right across the street from THE park which has a farmers market Saturday morning. There are two great coffee shops just two blocks or so from the house. Both serve delicious coffee, one is behind the outdoor amphitheater near the playgrounds if you have kids. It's also just a few blocks from Kroger. We Ubered everywhere we didn't feel like walking, for instance at the end of a long day of eating and drinking. The house is airy and light and has a unique style. The kitchen is so cute and uses every nook and cranny possible for storage. The beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure which are two things I care about. I would recommend this house for vacationers and visit it again with my friends.

Week stay

My husband and I stayed for a week. We were happy with the location and size of the property based on what we were doing for the week. However, it was slightly overpriced for what it is. The ovens pilot light wouldn't stay lit, the shower head leaks significantly, and the microwave/refrigerator breaker was tripped at arrival. The light switches in the living room and downstairs bedroom was installed upside down. The upstairs fan cracks if on anything other than low setting. The downstairs bedroom fan makes a loud humming noise. There is only 1 television in the living space. Those minor issues were only an inconvenience. It could us a little updating and wires hidden in the living area for more pleasing sitting space. We had a great time and would love to stay in this area again!

If you stay here, I truly hope you don’t have any issues or have to interact with the host.

This vacation rental is really nice, it has high quality furnishings, a ton of charm, a great location, and was very clean… it does, however, have a couple of issues. (1) Directions given by the host are long, convoluted, and confusing. Google maps does not give accurate directions, either. Finding the place proved frustrating and took around 30 minutes after arriving in the general area to figure out where it was. I was meeting my mom and sister for a weekend in Savannah, and they also had trouble finding the property. I did make a suggestion to the host about refining the directions, she seemed to listen but was also was somewhat invalidating by suggesting that past renters had never had issues finding the property. (2) No hot water. It was a huge inconvenience to not have hot water for showers in the morning! Thankfully the host was able to get a service person to check it out and got it temporarily working a couple of hours later. This is where things got truly frustrating for me as a guest. The host implied that we somehow caused their house to not have hot water, which we definitely could not have done. (Apparently the service person discovered that the tankless water heater trips the little “reset” button on the outlet in the bathroom, suggesting a significant wiring issue.) The host also made sure to tell me how much the service person cost them, since I didn’t sit on the phone with her on my vacation and “troubleshoot” the issue. (I had checked the breaker box for her and it looked fine. I guess she didn’t believe me and around 40 minutes or so later texted asking me to send a photo of the breaker box but we had already left to get brunch and explore the city.) The second morning we got up and guess what? No hot water again. I was a little afraid to mess with anything, but I did try pressing the reset button on the wall outlet to see if that would somehow help since the host told me that was how the service person “fixed” it. This caused there to be no water running from the faucet at all when you turn the hot water side on (how is this even possible?). I pressed it a couple more times and eventually the water started running again. All in all, frustration over how the host interacted with us along with not having hot water truly overshadowed the weekend. She was invalidating and defensive, and attempted to shift blame onto me for their hot water issue twice!

The House was fine and looked exactly like the pictures. Parking was a headache, considering I had to circle a few times to find street parking. The tub is extremely high, so be prepared for that. Other than that, it was fine.

The carriage house is just as cute as in the pictures! The communication is quick and helpful. Location to Forsyth Park and the trolly route can't be beat. You won't go wrong staying here. I hope to be back! Thank you we had a great time!

This space held me so well. I enjoyed the neighborhood and park nearby. The coffee shop and restaurants nearby were great as well. Parking was something to figure out but not too bad.

Decent. We only stayed for one night. There was no lightbulbs in one of the bedrooms and a pretty significant ceiling leak in the main bathroom that puddled on the floor and the labeled toiletries were not stocked. The garbage receptacle was a little difficult to find outside of the back gate. If everything was taken care of it would have been great, but you could find a nicer place for the same price. As is, we would not stay again.

False advertisement

If you are staying on this property, what they don’t tell you is that you have to find parking on an adjacent street! this property obviously has not been kept up. The back door knob is about to fall off and the whole door jam moves with the door. We could not lock the property by the front door because it wouldn’t lock from the outside therefore we had to leave out of the back door. Warning if you are above 5 foot two staying in the upstairs bedroom will be a nightmare. The ceilings are very low and our guess bumped his head on the ceiling fan a few times . They just all decided to stay downstairs. It was safer. The grill needs to be trashed! It’s rusty, broken and full of trash and spiders. No barbecuing here! The washer didn’t look usable it had a broken door so I didn’t use it. A family of 4 on a 4 day stay were only given 1 towel and 1 rag each. Lesson learned!! Never again!

This grill is disgusting. It’s rusty full of trash and spider webs.

Loved staying here! It’s convenient to a lot and allowed us to walk and explore Savannah like we wanted. Our only complaint would be the beds being hard, but that really person to person preference.

Great location

Our stay was great! Number one Mary was such a pleasure, she is super responsive and accommodating. The home is full of charm and it’s cozy. Mary has it equipped with everything you need for your stay. It really did feel like home away from home. The location was perfect! Right across the street from the park and 5mins uber or 15mins walk to everything! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home for your next visit.

cute, great location

Cute carriage house in quiet neighborhood right by Forsythe Park. We were able to walk many places and it's just a short walk to jump on the trolley to get around and downtown. Loved Savannah and would stay here again.
