Great location. We enjoyed our stay, loved the house. Felt at home, the kitchen is well stocked. The screened in porch is a nice bonus. We would stay here again.

Quiet Seaside Stay

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk from the beach. The combination of outdoor space and indoor space was perfect for our family.

Great location

Great location close to the beach. Our young children enjoyed the house and pool. We loved the porch for coffee and breakfast. Try the Perfect Pig (20 minute walk) for a great lunch or amazing donuts.

The perfect getaway

This house was perfection! It was decorated beautifully, conveniently located to a public beach access, and in an adorable area that was close to Seaside and Destin. We loved our stay here!

Great Trip

We had a great time at this property. We love this location and have been staying in this area for 14 years. The best part about this property was the screened in porch. We spent much time on the porch for meals and coffee.

Family of 4 (kids ages 6 & 10) Week long stay in JunePros: - Super cute house that was clean- Screened in porch with couch swing - Short walk to Gulfview Heights beach access - Ocean Reef property management called me back right away when I called them to make them aware of some minor repairs needed in the home (broken stove knob, missing brackets to hold ladder on bunk bed, unstable coffee table). I didn’t call until we were checking out so I don’t know if they actually made the repairs but at least they responded quickly to my phone call.- Local Catch restaurant was really good as was the ice cream place on the corner. Cons:- Could have used more kitchen towels but we washed them with our laundry midweek- (This is not a knock on Dune Betty per se which is why I still gave 5 stars, but info other families might find helpful)We did chair/umbrella rental through Coastal at the Gulfview Heights public access point (1k for the week for 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs). They open at 8 am but people set up their own chairs before 630 am so it’s impossible to be “front row” if you’re renting chairs.

Outside lights don’t work. Also the refrigerator didn’t make ice nor was cold. Lights did not work inside

August 2023

The property did have issues, the master bedroom mattress was damaged and the property management replaced it. The light and fan did not work on screen porch and it was repaired as well. It was an inconvenience to deal with while on vacay but the property management team handled it. Once the issues were resolved we were able to enjoy our vacay. Yes I would stay at this property again but would suggest that more lighting be installed outside.

Badly broken mattress, not fixed by mgmt, disappointing.

Bottom line, this rental would be five stars if the management company had actually done something to fix the badly broken mattress in the master bedroom. They emailed a "so sorry to hear, we've called maintenance", but never followed up with us, never told us if it would be fixed, and thus it was never fixed. The mattress had a 2-inch deep, full-length tear in the top pad, exposing the springs and making it impossible to sleep on. We slept on the twin beds in the other room the other 4 nights. Very disappointing. I hope this is fixed at least for the next guests! A truly nice property otherwise, clean. Bathrooms were well kept. There is only one 2-person bed. The other rooms have twin beds and bunk beds. If you have more than 2 adults, they will be sleeping on twins or bunks, FYI.
