Great Place to Stay

This was a really nice property. If you're looking for a place to stay and use your boat, then this is your spot. It is located in a quiet little town with some great restaurants nearby. It was perfect.

This is the second time saying at this wonderful house for a weekend of fishing anf enjoying the water. The house is lovely, spacious and clean. The dock is very nice and you have a great view of the river. Our host is always accommodating and communicates well. * Older or disabled individuals may have trouble with the slope of the front and back yard.

Check and check out was good. Neighborhood was good. Water was a bit muddy and the fishing was bad but otherwise we all had a pretty good time.

Great river cottage

We loved our stay at the cottage. The view is beautiful. The beds were comfy. The entire process was easy! I would totally recommend!

Enjoyed our stay!

The property was clean and just as described. We were here for a bass tournament, there was plenty of room for our boat and trucks. Communication with the owner was speedy and pleasant. Will definitely keep this property in mind for future stays.

Great location for a short stay!

The house was beautifully remodeled and decorated, very clean! Love the waterfront location, there was only one dollar general nearby so definitely stock up before you come. My only complaint was we couldn’t find trash bags and anywhere, other than that, all was great!

Family weekend fishing trip

My son and I on a 3-day fishing trip on the St Johns River. Never had any contact with the host; and it turns out we didn't need any. Instructions were clear. We walked in and the place was all ready for us. Clean. Nicely remodeled older small home on the river. Great dock. Our Gheenoe cosied up nicely for the night. A friendly neighbor gave us great fishing tips.

Peaceful location

Everything was perfect ! The owners communicate quickly if you have a questions. The house is clean and has everything you could need . The fact that you have access to Roku and other channels without having to sign into your own account was nice as most places make it difficult to watch any channels . This is definitely a perfect vacation home .

Moving our son

We moved our son from Va to Fl over Memorial Day weekend and wanted to be close to his new home. The Riverview Cottage was charming and only 25 minutes away. The screen porch became a daily place to unwind and watch the occasional alligator swim by. We comfortably played cards around the kitchen table and enjoyed spending time together. The living room TV went out and the gracious host, Ashley immediately had a new TV sent the next day! We were all very comfortable and I would definitely recommend the Riverview Cottage to anyone

Great stay for my daughters graduation

Property is clean and well stocked. The dock was great for fishing we caught several catfish with just bread. We arrived during a brief downpour of rain and the front entrance was extremely flooded as well as the garage. I know this is a low area and happens.The front door looks like someone has tried to break in at some point and has several large cracked seams that you can see straight through. I’m not sure if owner is aware. Lastly the master bedroom bed was very hard! So hard and firm our shoulders and hip bones were sore after our stay. Over all with those minor things we enjoyed the property and would recommend it was also close to our favorite hang outs.

Riverview Cottage - Great place!

We didn't want to leave! Cottage was clean and everything as pictured. Keyless entrance..very easy. It was comfortable quiet and the river just steps from back door. We celebrated Christmas early and even took a Christmas tree. Plenty of towels, even though I took my own, there was coffee, salt & pepper. Shower gel and shampoo! I loved the black makeup towels. I don't know what it looked like before the remodel but it is beautiful. A place on the river that is like a modern condo, decorated beautifully. I loved it smelt so you when you entered and loved the big farmers sink. The stove was a challenge for me as I had Never had used an induction stove but the owners responded immediately instructing me how to use it. I will definitely go there again. We went to Renegades on the river for lunch and it was wonderful. Great service and food. A must if you stay in this cute cottage. I highly recommend this Cottage. I have friends interested in it also just from seeing my pics on FB. #riverviewcottage. So book this place you won't be sorry. Take your boat if you have one. You will have a great time even if it's a just a couple nights!
