Las Olas has 46-units and is located on the beautiful Costa Azul Beach, making it a surf and beach lover's dream. Just steps in front of the condo, is the famous surf spot, "The Rock" while a quick 2 minute walk will get you to "Zippers" and "Old Mans". Other activities to enjoy while visiting include, tennis, swimming/hot tub, and snorkeling. The beautiful grounds also have an area with beachfront lounge chairs/umbrellas.

NO SMOKING-smoking in the unit or on the balcony will result in a loss of your security deposit.

Other things to note
Las Olas is located next to the highway running between San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. There can be road noise from trucks coming down the road, our curtains have "noise reduction" to help you get a good nights sleep. We also provide a sound machine for your use.

Stay at Los Olas Beachfront Condos

We had a delightful stay at the Los Olas beachfront condo! We arrived a few days early before attending a wedding and enjoyed a romantic and refreshing getaway. Although there was an initial hiccup with receiving our check-in information, the front gate security staff were incredibly helpful in providing us with our gate keys and codes. Kylie from Let's Do Mexico resolved the confusion and got us into the condo efficiently. The accommodations were lovely, with an amazing view, a comfortable bed, and a cozy couch. As a cook, I felt the kitchen could have been better stocked with quality items, but this might not be an issue for others. Additionally, we wished there was lounge furniture on the deck instead of just the small table and chairs. Despite these minor drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Chill surf condo

We took a chance on a non-all-inclusive in San Jose where we have stayed four previous times. So we obviously love the area and were excited to have more freedom to explore. What a lovely experience. For just two of us (no kids with us this time!) buying and cooking our own food was a much more authentic experience and we enjoyed going out to dinner each night. With so many great dining locations, we had more than enough places to try out, and getting around via Uber couldn't have been easier. The condo itself was great, pretty modern, and very well stocked with all the supplies. The deck and view was STUNNING. The grounds and pool were well kept and we never had to fight for a seat at the pool or beach (mind you, we were visiting in April, a less busy time of year). My husband rented a surf board and surfed every day while I enjoyed a covered "cabana" area on the beach (something you would pay extra for at an all-inclusive). We will 100% go back. You can't beat it for the price. I took one star off for the road noise. It's no fault of the owners, and I know it has been mentioned here (the noise machine they provided was helpful) but it is definitely a thing. The trucks gear down as they come down the hill and it really is loud. But for us, on vacation with no kids and all the time in the world, we could sleep whenever we wanted lol, so no matter.

Wonderful view, comfortable accommodations, chill spot

We had a great three nights at this place. The apartment has the most wonderful view! The location is right in the water so the easiest places to walk for beverages or food are other places on the water, however there’s a road that goes under the main road (take a right coming out of the apartment) in order to get across the street for other options. The road noise is defiantly distracting in the bedroom but we were able to sleep well with earplugs & the noise machine they provide. Beautiful, mellow, lovely spot!

Epic Sunrises

We enjoyed our stay here. My BF surfs and it was so nice to be able to watch him from the balcony and/or walk to the beach in 2 minutes and sit and watch him from there. The sunrises are unreal too!! We had a mishap and the owner, Jon, and Ricky, the property mgr, were very communicative, resourceful and quick to find a resolution. The place is super clean and stores and restaurants are a quick, close drive. Driving into and leaving the property is a little sketch at first, but you get used to it and it's pretty easy in and out. Felt very safe and comfortable here. We'd stay again!

Gorgeous view!!!

We had a verrryyy relaxing stay at Jon and Jill's condo at Las Olas. The unit is a good value for the price point, and had all the basics for light living. The view is stunning, the grounds were well kept, the pool was spacious, including the 3 multilevel hot tubs, and the teak loungers were super posh for all day lounging, reading and staring at the entrancing ocean ebb and flow. Road noise was barely noticeable compared to the pounding surf and warm breeze. Conveniently two "doors down" from Zipper's restaurant for some basic level food and bev (it's really about the view), or the newer, more fresh and modern Pescadito Break directly next door to Zip's (they share a wall)-their margarita's are spot on and they have an extensive well executed seafood menu. Jon and Jill were fast with communication, and were very responsive. We don't surf, but really enjoyed sitting on the ocean wall, or the condo balcony, and watching the surfers directly in front of the property. Easy to grab an Uber wherever we needed.

Quiet and relaxing

Great location with outstanding water views!

Wonderful hosts. Accessible and accommodating Condo perfect for a couple. Nice clean unit. Comfortable pool with jacuzzi and beach loungers down by the sand. Right on the water. Loved the crashing waves and seeing the local surfers at sunrise and sunset. Thank you Jon and Jill

He even let us check in early when we arrived. nice pool, nice beach access, quite, and 4 surf spots to choose from right in front of the property. Surfer’s Delight

Such a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend. Anytime we had any questions, Jon responded promptly. The place is in a great location and there are nice little bars and restaurants walking distance. Got a couple scrapes when surfing and Jon had a whole first aid kit with all the essentials! Loved also being able to hang by the pool with an ocean view.

Relaxed in Paradise

This Condo was everything and more of what we hoped for visiting San Jose Del Cabo! It was like visiting our own place and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay! John the owner was extremely helpful and very responsive to our questions and couldn’t of been more “spot on” with recommendations for restaurants or activities that we were looking for! The Condo itself is perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets every morning while sipping coffee out on the balcony. Watching the surfers out there even inspired my husband to take a surf lesson- he’s hooked!! The complex is small and very well maintained by the groundskeepers. Pool was refreshing after being at the beach all day! We took Ubers instead of renting a car and on the average spent $8-$10 a trip. We really only ventured off site for dinner because everything we needed was at the Condo - grocery store is located 5 min away. Thank you John for offering your home for us to stay! We truly enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back! “NO BAD DAYS” is definitely the correct mantra for this place!!

Exceeded expectations!

Everything was as described or better! The property was clean, amenities were available and made for a convenient stay. The view and location could not be beat! Only downside was construction noise on the pool which I understand will be done shortly.

The property is amazing! Great views, fairly central location. The beach is a bit dicey with rocks and sea urchins (I stepped on one...not fun.) Great communication with hosts!

Great place / great location / great host

This is a fabulous place to stay. I have stayed at other Las Olas condos in the past and the updates in this condo are better than many of the others that I have stayed. Check in / Check out are as smooth as you will find from a VRBO. Highly recommend.

Surfers' Paradise - Family Friendly

The location is perfect for those looking to surf and hang out on the beach or around the pool. The surf break is great fun for all levels of surfers. The beach feels semi-private as it is located at the end of a stretch of other condos and resorts. "Surf In Cabo" shop is just a minute walk down the beach and offer rentals and lessons. We took a lesson one day - the instructor was friendly, helpful and reasonably priced. We ate at Zippers twice. The food is not noteworthy but it is right on the beach and less than 5 min walk from the condo. The condo felt very safe and family friendly. The sunrise is beautiful and it was fun to see dolphins and rays out in the distance. The overall atmosphere of Las Olas and surrounding beach was very relaxed, mature, and friendly. There is not a party scene, which we loved! The complex is close to Hwy 1, so there is some traffic noise during the day while inside the condo, but you cannot hear it from the pool. This would not keep us from coming back by any means, but if you're looking for something exceptionally quiet you may need to look further away from the highway. It seems like the highway runs close to most condos along San Jose/Cabo area. Jon and Jill were very friendly and quick to respond to questions about the area! We'd love to stay at Las Olas again in the future!

We are from the Pacific Northwest but our hearts belong in the sun, surf and sand. We discovered Las Olas a few years ago and instantly fell in love with the location...built directly on an amazing surf beach, close to shopping and wonderful restaurants.
When not working as a fireman (Jon) or traveling in search of sun, we spend time with our two children enjoying the outdoors. During the winter, we love to ski and snowboard.
