Silver Lake Cottage with a beautiful view of silver lake and the dunes

The cottage is less than 1/4 mile from dune buggy entrance.

There is a beautiful view of Silver Lake and the dunes from the cottage. Right across the street is the public access where you can moor your boat and swim. At the end of the road, you can climb the dunes and walk to Lake Michigan. We ask that our guests bring their own sheets and towels. We have a picnic table and fire pit in the yard. Inside we have basic cable, coffee pot, microwave and dishes, pots, pans and silverware. Parking is limited, so if you have big trailers, please message us to see if you will fit. We also have air conditioning and WiFi.

We love this comfortable, cozy cabin right off Silver Lake. We love this property because we can put our boat in right across the street. We can also walk to the dunes about 5 minutes away.

Great place, right across the street from the water and right down the street from the dunes. One thing i would do before traveling is see what days things are open, a lot of stuff is closed sunday through Thursdays. The cottage has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. Plenty of plates and silverware. There are some lawn chairs for sitting next to fire. No washer or dryer, but can wash things in the sink and hang on the 2 clothes lines, they provide clothes pins. The beds are not super comfortable, but there was plenty of room for the 4 of us and our dog. Overall a great location and great cottage.

Perfect stay

We came up for the jeep invasion weekend and it was the absolute best stay. We were right on the main drag so we enjoyed the jeep parade, walk to the dunes, walk to get ice cream. The beds were really comfortable. My son loved having access to the tv and all the channels. Furniture has been updated since photos. Water was hot. It was perfect for our family. I brought my Alexa and was able to keep a camera on the dogs while we went into the dunes. They made taking our dogs on vacation so easy. We will book again!

Lake cottage

Always wanted to stay at this corner lot, glad I finally got the chance. When not at the dunes I was able to still see all the amazing sand toys drive by. Listing was exactly as described and pictured. Host were great to work with and extremely fast at responding.

Beautiful location

We stayed here while visiting family and the cabin exceeded our expectations. Perfect for our family! The location was perfect, right across from the lake with great places to walk and hike in the vicinity. The large windows in the cottage made for an excellent view. We hope to stay again on our next visit!

We always have a freat time at Silver Lake. Overall cleanliness seemed ok compared to sleeping in a tent. Cabin could use some TLC. Located on a very busy corner.

Nice and cozy......

Everything was perfect, loved being on a corner. Host was exceptionally responsive and very nice. A little furniture updates would be nice but all in all great time. Plan a few days here just to find out what the password for rhe wifi is...hilarious!

Enjoyed Our Stay!

The property exceeded our expectations for the price! Several upgrades have been made since the pictures in the listing ( I.e. furniture, TV, kitchen table). Beds were very comfortable! Great location to the dunes!

Worth it

It’s a 1/4 mile from dune entrance with a view of the lake and dunes. The house was below my standards but ok. Furniture was worn out and uncomfortable. Beds were decent was a plus. Water tasted bad and sewer smell coming from the shower pretty bad. I took a shower, but my wife wouldn’t. Heater worked, but super loud so you couldn’t leave it on. For the price I would stay there again to be close to the dunes.
