Secluded waterfront house to relax or enjoy water activities from private pier

A cozy waterfront house located on Cobb Island, Maryland, where Wicomico River, Neale Sound, and Potomac River meet. A quiet and peaceful place for an enjoyable and relaxed vacation.

This two-level house has four bedrooms and two full baths. A fully equipped kitchen. Large open living room and dining room for your family and friends to spend time together. A newly installed split air-conditioning system lets you customize your own comfort level in each room. Hi speed internet and TV with 130+ channels are provided, when you want to take a break from the beautiful nature surrounding you. A large deck and a pier on the river side for you to sit and enjoy the ever-changing sceneries of the river and the beautiful sights of sunrise, sunset, and moon rise. Fishing, crabbing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding can be done directly from our private pier. 2 crab pots are provided. Bring your own fishing poles and watercrafts.
A community playground is few minutes’ walk away. Swan Point Golf Course is 6 miles away and open to public.

Charming Cottage

We loved staying at this property for a month. The house was well stocked with thoughtful items, instructions were clear, communications with Michelle were easy. The view of the water is magnificent

Perfect for what we needed

We were in town for a wedding and none of us had ever been to Cobb island. The house worked out perfectly for us and we had an great time sitting out back by the water. only recommendation might be is to add some mirrors in the bedrooms as the upstairs bathroom mirror is difficult to use to get dressed especially for a wedding .

Great Place to Relax

The home was very clean and contained every kitchen item you would need. We were sad that we couldn't swim because of the jellyfish but the dock was perfect for fishing, crabbing, and using our kayak. The neighbor is very nice and the whole community is very welcoming.

Great spot on Cobb

This was a beautiful house on Cobb Island. Wonderful kitchen, two beautiful bathrooms, a fabulous open area for gathering together and an amazing pier!!! Highly recommend for some relaxation on charming Cobb Island. Michelle was an incredible host!! Excellent, gracious communication and very accommodating!!

Loved being on the water!

Overall very pleased. Seemed like a lot of money for the property but I guess that’s what waterfront cost. House was very clean and well equipped. Loved the mini-splits in each room. The only reason I gave “cleanliness” four stars is because the outside trash can had a bunch of trash the smelled horrible and the recycling container also had trash in it. Michelle was great and very responsive. There’s a great market on the island but very few dining options and no fine dining. Very cozy and “down home” community. Beautiful sunrise from the deck or dock.

Great location for fishing/crabbing

This location is great to fish and crab. I usually bring a lot of kitchenware with me when I go to a rental, but the house had large pots, knives, pans and plenty of plates/bowls/silverware. Communication was consistent throughout the trip. However, despite the time we enjoyed there, we will NOT be returning to this particular VRbo location. We were charged for items that we were accused of breaking. Despite multiple requests to provide us with evidence/proof that it was our fault for breaking this appliance, she failed to respond to our questions. She instead was rude but did end up refunding us for that item. One item we were responsible for because we didn't read the house rules closely enough but was charged an excessive amount for a plastic patio chair. It's a great location for crabs but we will not be returning.

Amazing experience !

A group of us stayed at this property for a college reunion . It’s a beautiful location, great for a quiet getaway- we absolutely loved the backyard overlooking the river! The place is well stocked and very clean . The host is amazing too- very helpful and responsive! We created some great memories - thank you !

Beautiful Views

The view in the morning from the kitchen table is breath taking. The pier is an even better view! Very comfy house set in a friendly neighborhood. Within walking distance to a couple of local restaurants.

Get away weekend

We were looking for a place to stay for a wedding that we needed to attend. This property fit the bill perfectly. Overall our impression of the lodging was good although we had to contact the owner initially for a couple of items that we needed to address. In all the contacts that made to her, she was very quick to respond.

Nice cottage on the water.

Really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. This was one of two houses we rented from this owner. Michelle was a very gracious host. Her properties were very clean. Will stay here again.

Perfect for hanging out with friends and family

This property is beautiful! I appreciated how the property manager reached out to us early to provide details about the area, checking in, etc. It was super convenient to have private pier in the back to launch our inflatable kayaks and paddleboards from. There's ample space for 8 adults to hang out either inside or on the deck outside, and there's a large yard that makes it easy to set up cornhole boards. I highly recommend this location.

Waterfront Retreat

The property is a lovely cottage on the water in a quiet neighborhood. Great spot for fishing and boating, bike riding. The kitchen was very functional for a family. Bedrooms have ample space and the second floor was great for spreading out with children. The owner is terrific in communication and so great to work with. Lovely neighbors too. We will definitely go back.

Weekend getaway

This house was a 1.5 hour drive from northern Virginia. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the cleanliness and layout of the house. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space and bed. The kitchen was very well equipped and provided us everything we needed for a seafood boil! The dock is where we spent most of our time and it was lovely. It had ample space for us to fish, listen and listen to music. We appreciated the two crab pots that were left on the dock for us to enjoy. This is really the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway from the DMV.

Will definitely rent again!!!!!!

Our stay was great. Communication with the owner was very timely. Had one little problem and within a couple hours,it was resolved. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that great the first 2 days of our stay but the last day was AWESOME!!!!! Great house,awesome view.....couldn't ask for anything more. Friends that stayed with me,considering renting the house as well cause they loved it.

Beautiful renovated cottage

A Cobb Island Gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. A wonderful open living area with fantastic views of the Wycomico River and Neale Sound. Very private feeling property, excellent pier for both sunrises and sunsets, a great place for a toast. Birds, butterflies and jumping fish were relaxing, as was the backyard lounger swing in the shade. We cant wait to return. Oh yeah, and the neighbors were real nice.
