This was located minutes from Black Water Falls. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed for our weekend.

The loft was amazing! The location is perfect! The check in process was smooth and the host Jared was quick to respond to anything I needed! The town of Davis was quite quaint. The little shops were all perfect. You really felt some of that Appalachian hospitality when they helped you with whatever you needed. The distances to everything was not more than 5-10 minutes for dining and groceries. There where quite a few bars and restaurants close I would stay here again I actually plan to in the future

We loved our stay! Everything about the house was perfect. Access to everything we wanted to see and do. The house was so cute and clean. Could not have asked for a better mini getaway! Highly recommend

Beautiful Loft

We had a fabulous time staying at this beautiful loft. It was so cute and cozy. It was just minutes away from Blackwater Falls. I would absolutely recommend staying here

We were not satisfied with The Loft. The place was very small, the steps to the bedroom were very steep and not to code, the futon was very uncomfortable. The fridge did not keep our supplies cold, no light in the fridge. Toiletries were minimal and were damp. The" in room "air conditioner that was in the loft was very loud and did not cool the whole unit. We could not sit on the back deck due to dust from the camp ground. Parking a was a big issue. We even left a day early because the bed was so uncomfortable. Floors were dirty when we arrived. We did not have a good stay.

I usually don't write a review of guests but Tony and Sophia were some of the worst guests I've ever had. They were upset that I didn't give them a huge discount on their stay before they arrived. They left the property a mess and caused many issues for my cleaning crew to address. They continued to make false accusations and cause problems even after they left. I would never have them back again and highly recommend hosts to not accept them as guests.

Great location

This house is very small, although they have made the most of the available space. It’s very nicely decorated and is comfortable. We found it perfect for the two of us for a couple of nights. I think that for me the lack of space and facilities would become annoying for a much longer stay, but it was fine for a weekend. The location is great. We spent a lot of time sitting out on the back deck - until the bugs chased us away as the sun went down - and that was lovely. It does overlook an RV park so isn’t very private. That didn’t bother us, but if you’re looking for privacy this isn’t it. Being outside of but still very close to town is the perfect location.

Awesome tiny home

We loved our stay in Davis. The house is very well equipped and close to everything. My husband and I enjoyed the town of Davis. The shops and restaurants were very fun. The kids skied at Timberline and did the sledding at Blackwater Falls park. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway to Blackwater Falls

My wife and I went to Thomas to enjoy wild wonderful West Virginia for a weekend trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Davis Loft. The location is perfectly situated in Davis between Blackwater Falls and the town. The decor is unique and tasteful, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and Jared is a wonderful host! Looking forward to returning again in the future.

Feels like sleeping under the stars in a magical treehouse! Highly recommend!!

Once you step inside it’s like another world from the outside lack of curb appeal. Not the Loft’s outside in particular but a lot of the other condos surrounding it look run down. However don’t let that fool you bc the Loft itself is put together incredibly well to make the most out of a smaller space and it’s set up to make your stay all you could want and more!! My husband and I both were ready to come home and put our 2500 sq ft home on the market to build our own tiny home after staying here!! It has so many neat efficient things! The pull out table and barstools were so cute and gives extra counter space as well as a cute place to have an intimate dinner. The loft bedroom literally felt like we were sleeping under the stars in a treehouse in the most magical way! You can literally lay in bed and gaze at the stars through the skylight window. Absolutely dreamy!! The whole aesthetic vibe is spot on!!! We came to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and The Loft was PERFECT!! I’m already trying to figure out when I can bring my daughter up for a girls weekend! I would highly recommend The Loft!!! Also Jared was so kind and made sure to give me his contact info just in case we needed anything. Great communication and he also put together a entire book of Canaan Valley info of places to see and eat etc which would especially be so helpful to ppl who’ve never stayed in the area before bc it was to us and we’ve visited the area for 6+ years now.

Beautiful little space

Perfect space and so affordable. The host thought of everything. There were so many little touches that he added to the house. Within a few minutes from Blackwater Falls and about a 30-50 from Dolly Sods and other places. If you stay Monday-Wednsesday just be aware that your food choices will be limited close by as it is a small mountain town. Over all a wonderful experience!
