Perfect Location! Blocks to Lake, Heavenly and Stateline

Summer, winter, spring or fall, there is no better place to enjoy the many activities of South Lake Tahoe than this newly remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 bath house. Located 8 blocks from the Ski Run Marina and Beach, down the hill from Heavenly Valley, and less than a mile to Stateline, this house has it all.

The main floor features a large living room, great for watching movies or just relaxing in front of the wood burning stove/fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your culinary pleasure and the separate dining area has table seating for 8. There are also two large bedrooms and a full bath with travertine tile downstairs.

And off the kitchen and dining area is a large secluded deck and hot tub where you can entertain and relax after a day of skiing, boating, swimming or fun. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, full bath with travertine tile, and laundry room with washer and dryer.

This is a great house in a great location. Shopping, ski and water rentals, and restaurants are within walking distance.

Wonderful Stay!!!

We had a great time at Jim's cabin. Everything was excellent. The home is close to so many activities. The house was very clean and spacious. The hot tub was a major plus for my kids! Overall, a wonderful time!

Holiday weekend

This was the best property. They had everything we needed. Plenty of room for the 8 of us and so close to everything. Quiet neighborhood and is walking distance to heavenly village.

Cute house in an excellent location

We had the best time this weekend. House is very cute and homey. We were able to sit together and play games but we were also able to separate for quiet time. Pictures do this house no justice. We were a short walk to the lake and a short drive to the state line. Unfortunately, because of the snow we didn't get to utilize the hot tub nearly as much as we wanted, but it's uncovered and you are exposed to the elements... other than that, this is definitely a place we all would love to return to.

Girls trip

This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 4. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was hot, plenty of towels and parking, and a great location- we walked to dinner and breakfast. Will choose again for our girls getaway.

Good common spaces, bad bedrooms

The living room, kitchen, dining room and backyard were very homey. Although when we first walked in, the heater wasn’t working. We immediately contacted the property owner about it. There wasn’t an available person to repair the heater the entire time we were there, but there were space heaters available to keep us warm enough. The hot tub was really the highlight of the stay. It was awesome! The bedrooms, especially the sheets could use some cleaning. The sheets weren’t washed well as there were plenty of stains on the sheets and some hair from previous guests were there. Maybe it’s time for new sheets?

Excellent Stay

The place was nice and cozy. Had everything we needed and was a walk away from restaurants and the lake. Location was perfect. Would stay here again. Will definitely recommend to others.

Great cabin and great location

Our group of four had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. The location made it very convenient for trips to the casinos, heavenly, and shopping. There were two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and two bedroom and a bathroom downstairs. The kitchen was well-stacked with everything we needed to make meals. We also used the bbq in the garage to grill some steaks. The hot tub was very nice. It was clean and worked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect cottage close to Heavenly

Our host was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. The house had everything we needed and everything was clean and comfortable. The location is a block from heavenly - super convenient location. We will definitely we staying again!

What an amazing house!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at this property, it was everything we wanted and more. Tons of space, very clean, comfortable beds and couches, a great layout and everything we needed. The location is also great, super close to restaurants and shops on Ski Run, but a short drive and medium walk to state line. The owner was so accommodating and quick to reply to our questions, it really made our stay so much better. We are already looking to book another trip and stay here, you should too!

Great price for the location.

We planned to be out having fun and enjoying the area during our stay so we really just needed a comfortable place to sleep. This house gets the job done. Great location near the marina and the park. The only reason I knocked off a star is that the hot tub didn’t seem clean. The water was a funky grey and there was a filter sitting on the spa cover when we arrived. I’m not sure what that was all about since I never contacted the owner. The kids didn’t care and said it was fine. If you want something fancy, there are other places to stay, but you will pay a lot more. This place is a great value!

Best bang for the buck.

Property owners are very responsive and helpful. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. Access to the property is easy and convenient. Tons of space for vehicles and people, even has a garage. Backyard is amazing with plenty of space for outdoor activities, spa, BBQ, etc. The inside of the house is well separated so you do not feel like you are on top of each other. Two bedrooms upstairs, two bedrooms downstairs, and same with the bathrooms. Very nice and updated kitchen with comfy living and dining room furniture. The pictures on the posting do not do this property justice. When I come back to tahoe, I will rent this property again. Great value for what you get.

This is our family cabin! Jim & Dee Mayer and their daughter Kim Mayer & son-in-law Noel Moss purchased this cabin in 1987. Both families live in the Bay Area and grew up visiting Lake Tahoe. This home has created amazing memories in our family and we can't wait to share our home away from home with you.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This little cabin right off Ski Run Blvd is the perfect location. We are blocks away from the Lake and Marina, as well as a very short drive to Heavenly to enjoy great skiing and activities. We are nestled among trees and it has the feel of being in the woods. After a long day at the lake or on the slopes we love to come back to the cabin and enjoy the hot-tub or a nice warm fire in our wood burning stove.
