Make yourselves at home at this terrific beach house with gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico from both inside and out. Located approximately 150 yards from the western edge of the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, this bright and spacious home boasts a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar for preparing your favorite meals and beach snacks, a dining area with a table for six, and a sunlit living area with comfortable seating, a large, cable-equipped flatscreen TV, and a second table and chairs with a view - perfect for rainy day board games!

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Everything was awesome! I would only recommend doin repairs. The living room sliding glass do is so hard to open and close.

It’s a great location! We came for my birthday! I love how it’s on the beach. It does need some work, well a good bit of work, but it fit our needs perfectly fine. The a/c works really well!! The sliding doors are super hard to use and the door handles were broken so you have to kind of make sure how you can. The fridge took a while to chill things but it caught up. We adored the flooring in the spare bathroom!! Water pressure was good in the bathrooms. I loved the box that was included with the laundry soap/kitchen soaps etc. It was a great stay and it was a super good deal! I would definitely stay again! I didn’t want to leave.

We came here to celebrate my 50th birthday and we had a wonderful time. The closeness to the beach, the views, and the home layout was wonderful! Plus we got to bring our fur babies!

Great Stay

From previous reviews, I knew the only negative complaint most people had was the deck area being outdated. If you know that and put it aside, this was a perfect beach house. Right near the boardwalk to the beach. Big house, plenty of space, and a private area. We were able to take our dogs down to the beach without worrying about anybody caring. The area is safe, and we were able to leave our chairs and tent at the beach overnight without worrying about people taking anything. I would recommend this spot, and will probably be back in the future.

Safety concerns with deck, missing and broken spindles, exposed lighting wires outside, no outside lighting, gate won't latch. Lower deck rail wasn't even attached. The sliding door to living area is very hard to open and close. All vents have mold and haven't been cleaned in years. Window seals haven't been cleaned in years. Something smeared on wall over sink, missing wall decor and wall damage needing repairs. Sink stoppers missing in the master bathroom and toilet was stained and dirty. Master bed mattress had been flipped over to hide nasty staining. Pans are old and damaged. Only 3 coffee cups. If you allow pets, there should not be carpet through out the house. This house should not be rented in this condition. We loved the view, location and pet friendly aspect, so it has great potential.

Nice little getaway spot.

Family vacation

The house was nice but dated and needed some repairs. The inside was spacious and large enough to accommodate everyone. It was clean. Some of the furnishings were very worn. There was no working light where the washer and drywr was. The outside lights for the deck didn't work so tou couldn'tsee ar all when walkingout the slidingglass doors. There was a rotting board in the cirner of the deck The furniture on the deck was broken.

Awesome Getaway

El Pescador was just as described: a terrific beach house with gorgeous views. The house is dated and could use a good old fashioned remodel but everything works properly and we had no issues at all. The proximity to the beach is what sold me on this particular rental. The large rooms, open floor plan and extra spacious breakfast bar were a bonus. My husband and I rented the entire 3 bedroom house for just the two of us but this is a perfect space for family gatherings.

The Broken House

We found two dining room chairs broken and the leaf to the table is about to break off, a false cabinet drawer fell off a cabinet, the kitchen sink leaks under the cabinet and out the bottom of the house, the AC in the master room is non existent probably due crushed AC ducting, the exercise equipment doesn’t work, two rotten boards on the ground level of the house, house advertised with two refrigerators but it only had one, drawer in metal bakers rack is broken, no weather stripping on sliding door so it banged on its hinges all night long, no sheets on queen bed so we had to sort through all the sheets in the master room just to find some that fit, there are holes, cracks in the ceilings and walls, found dirty silverware in the drawers and broken patio furniture. This was the most poorly stocked house we have ever rented. We have been renting old beach houses for decades and expect things not to be perfect but this house was clearly in disrepair. It will always be known as The Broken House

El Pescador wins!

My family loves this house. We stayed here 2 years ago and decided to stay again. The house is clean and adequate. The big draw is the private beach a short walk away. We walked on the beach at dawn and often there was no one else in sight. Perfect location if you want the beach and some peace and quiet!

Very clean and relaxing

The home was clean and it was wonderful to get up in the morning for walks on the beach. Easy access and close to the beach so it was no big deal to come and go.

Overall Nice Getaway

The walk to the beach is very short, and the home was a great price given its condition. Some things are in major need of updates and upgrades, but overall it makes for a nice brief getaway.

Great house right on the beach

El Pescador is an older traditional beach house that is right across the street from miles of beach. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels much more open than some of the other beach communities in Fort Morgan. The house is a little worn, but very comfortable and roomy. Everything you need - we loved our stay!
