The house is incredible! This is my second time staying here. It’s quirky in a good way! The kitchen is amazing with all that you will need! The pantry is stocked and we were able to use a few items. Greenport is so close and so are wineries!

perfect for a big group

Rented this as our homebase for a friends wedding and it was perfect. everyone had a comfortable bed and was able to spread our across the house. it’s also super close to the town for food and activities. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great weekend

Very cool house! It was perfect for my group! The kitchen/dining area is open and great for getting people together. Bedrooms were clean and comfy!

Incredible House

Lovely hosts, incredible house that accommodates a large family. It has a beautiful property, right near the water with plenty to keep busy. The kitchen is a dream, and easily hosts 12+ people. Will absolutely be coming back for future visits!

East Marion coast guard house

We just finished our two week stay at this absolutely unique home. Beautiful property, great house with direct beach access on the Sound. Best kitchen ever. We are a large family and eat most meals at home together and this home was perfect for us. We look forward to future visits.

This is a great place to stay!

Seven adults and two children made up our group. This was an annual event for all of us. This house is big, beautiful, quirky and in the perfect spot. It has six bedrooms with comfortable beds and pillows, a kitchen to die for and comfy common areas for gathering. You can walk down to a great beach and the children loved the yard. I would highly recommend the house for groups wanting to spend time together and have fun.

Beautiful stay in a one-of-a-kind property!

My friends and I spent a weekend at the house recently and had an incredible time.The house itself is beautiful. It’s spacious, has huge shared space, is extremely comfortable, and is very clean. The decor and design is beautifully thought out - the owners have done such a wonderful job with honoring the original design of the house while adding their personal touches everywhere. It truly feels like you’re staying with friends in a loving home.The views are spectacular and the outside space/pool/beach are such an escape from city life.The hosts are responsive and helpful. Their housekeeper, Mary, was also wonderful and made the check in and check out process a dream.There house is a short drive from nearby towns so plenty to do.I couldn’t recommend this place more and can’t wait to come back!

The Tower

The history and architecture of the building was very unique and interesting. The inside of the house had a strong unpleasant smell of Lysol. Rugs and floors were dirty and our napkins stuck to the top of the sticky dining table. There was also poison ivy to watch out for around the stairs to the beach. We enjoyed the location and exploring Greenport and the area. But wish the inside of the house had been cleaner without the unpleasant Lysol smell.

Magical

The house is beyond magical. From the moment you arrive, you enter a state of wonder, curiosity, and calm. Every room has something to be curious about. From artwork, books, furniture, views. For groups, it has so much space to spread out while still feeling intimate. Photos cannot explain these feelings enough. The house is so well stocked. And then stocked again. If you are chilly, a blanket or fireplace is quickly within reach. There is an endless supply of vintage glasses and plates. A Vitamix. Nothing feels pretentious and everything feels cozy and respectful. You feel as if you are in a friend's home, yet somehow even more familiar. The beach has the most beautiful white rocks I have ever seen on a beach. Even on a rainy day. The sunsets from the beach are spectatular. There is only one tv which is in the best sitting room that evokes lounging. The rest of the time, the Sonos speakers play your music on the main level of the house. This house is made for making memories. Enough of the reviews share the details of the listing; it has what you need. And then some. If you are looking for a place to get away, this is it.

Amazing stay

Great experience- the owners use the property which is much nicer as things kept up to date and kitchen stocked with pots and pans etc. I loved cooking in the kitchen. The space was nice as well super interesting. We were there during the remnant of a hurricane so with the lightening and the wind howling it was a little creepy at night. Great for telling ghost stories. Great property good communication with the care taker!

Girls Getaway Weekend

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house on the LI sound, just steps from its own private beach. The view is spectacular and the pictures of the unique, yet charming property don’t do it justice. The caretaker of the property was easily accessible and answered any questions and concerns almost immediately. The house was immaculately clean and perfect for a large group. The consensus of our group was we can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely wonderful

A wonderful rental experience. The house is absolutely stunning, we are Greenport regulars and this was the first time we just wanted to stay in and enjoy the property! We were a group of young families and the house was perfect. Great space and it has everything you could need. This house is very unique and felt like a piece of art. Communication with the property manager was very easy, we hope to return very soon. Thank you!

Out of a dream!

Our group had the best time - this home is just so special! It truly takes your breath away to walk in the front door. The owners have done such a beautiful job preserving the history of the home and the interior is designed with so much imagination and attention to detail. We had a group of 12 with plenty of room. I’d recommend enjoying a meal in the home with such a great kitchen and dining area. Hope to come back again!

Amazing weekend at the tower!

Absolutely loved this house and location! This is the perfect spot for a large group, the common spaces are beautifully decorated with so much character and large enough for our group of 12. Also a few steps from the beach with amazing views. Mary was responsive and so accommodating. Even shipped a box of things we left behind! 10/10 experience all around!

Wine Weekend Gateaway

An amazing water front home and property, a perfect place to have our annual Long Island North Fork Wine tasting getaway. Comfortable for our group of 12, spectacular views of the LI Sound, close to the vineyards. A house with a very interesting history.

Wow! Absolutely Perfection!

All I can say is WOW! What a breathtaking property and experience. A massive thank you to Mary and Caroline and the whole team. They were fabulous to work with and incredibly responsive and helpful. They made the entire process really pleasant and seamless and were flexible. Thank you! Now, to the house. What an amazing experience. We all agreed: it was one of the most magical I have ever seen. Every corner of the house had something special and historical. I could have explored the place every day for a week and found something unique during every exploration. It was the perfect mixture of old and historic, yet comfortable and welcoming. The artwork, the furniture, the views. Perfection. And outside the house, the property was spectacular. Beautiful manicured grass and rolling hills, access to the water, gorgeous pool and so much more. We were as careful as possible with the windows and doors, as many are quite old, but Mary's instructions were clear and helpful. We rented the house with our friends and family during our wedding weekend (we had a rehearsal dinner in Greenport and ceremony/reception in Southold) and it was the perfect spot - it slept 5 couples and 3 singles comfortably. We didn't spend nearly enough time at the house - mostly just slept there - but wish we had rented a few more days. We never wanted to leave. If I ever have the privilege again, I would absolutely rent this property. We couldn't recommend it more.
