Wonderful ! The property was well appointed . All the amenities were amazing. The coffee service set up was great, The kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied. I would highly recommend this property.Ingrid was wonderful . Exceptionally clean .

Simply amazing. We had a great beach vacation at Ingrid’s beautiful home. Everything about the property and location are perfect. The house was incredibly clean, and communication couldn’t have been better. Very short easy walk to the beach! We look forward to coming back again very soon!

I never leave reviews for rentals. I have to say this was one of the best choices we've made on VRBO. The house was incredibly clean well decorated and the outdoor space was incredible. The host even left some delicious cookies and yummy rosé.

This house is gorgeous! We were in town for our son’s college graduation and it was a great central location for us. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home and the host was extremely nice and accommodating. We would definitely pick this one again!!!

Ingrid is a very gracious host. The house was very clean, excellent for a family - it is fully stocked with many extras and amenities. It was easy to communicate with her. The house is a 2-minute walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful property in a wonderful location - with four children they loved the pool, s’mores by the fire, walks to the beach and even got a visit from a local ice cream truck! The owner has thoughtfully provided many amenities including a well stocked kitchen and toiletries!

magical memories!

This home was an excellent place for our larger group stay. We enjoyed time lounging by the pool, cocktails on the cottage porch, the absolute bliss of multiple outdoor showers, and the well equipped kitchen (and grill!). To top it off there’s a short lovely stroll to the beach, and equally close ice cream! The host Ingrid was wonderfully responsive and helpful. Our whole group was SO pleased with our stay, and I’ll be saving the link for future adventures!

The property was beautiful with a very large yard that could be utilized for outdoor activities like wiffle ball, bocce. The in ground heated pool was a huge plus. With 2 young grandchildren and 4 couples it was a place to relax and swim comfortably. We walked down to the beach in the morning and came back to the house for lunches and the pool. The very nice propane fire pit was also utilized and the smores Ingrid provided was a hit. Other goodies like a few beers, wine and coffee were also provided. Our host Ingrid was was very reachable and returned texts within minutes. We also rented the guest house because of the size of our party, which was also very nice. All in all Mallard Cove was an ideal location for family to come together from California and different parts of CT and spend quality time for a week.

Ingrid is a wonderful host! This property and house are gorgeous! We booked both the beach house and the cottage, to serve 13 people, of 3 generations, including 4 kids ages 4-6. Huge yard to run around in, beautiful heated pool (with trees for shade!) and lounge chairs with umbrellas. The house comes fully stocked with every kind of amenity and necessity--and Ingrid is immediately responsive to any questions. She very kindly provided so many pool and beach toys for our little ones! The house is beautifully decorated and spotless, with plenty of room to spread out. And it's an easy (for grandparents AND little ones) 5 minute walk to a perfect beach--clean sand, gentle waves, and at low tide there is easy wading out to a sandbar. Even an ice cream place a very short walk away! Highly recommend! Thank you, Ingrid!

Beautiful property! From the moment we checked in, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this well-appointed, beautifully decorated beach home. The owners have truly thought of everything—from plush towels to thoughtful touches like extra toothbrushes and kitchen essentials that made our stay effortless. We spent relaxing mornings on the charming front porch with coffee in hand, and afternoons lounging in the shade by the in-ground pool. The spacious back yard, complete with a dining table that comfortably seats ten, was perfect for al fresco meals and evening gatherings by the fire-pit.What makes this home especially memorable is its blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Original architectural details—like ornate moldings, and original wood floors—add character throughout, while the cozy, plush furnishings and updated amenities make it feel like a true retreat.

Ingrid was incredibly communicative! She quickly responded to messages and solved problems. The amenities provided were top notch and made us feel welcome. The listing made things slightly confusing regarding the cottage and inclusion in cost. Overall a 5 star stay. Perfect location and beautiful pool and home.
