Ocean Views Mendocino Beach House Path directly to the Beach!

This 1880's home is large and comfortable. Although home is rustic and a bit funky, (Over 145 years old!) beds are all new and very comfortable, and it the ONLY home in Mendocino with an extra large yard and a path directly to the beach!

Great for a couples or a family. Everything is within walking distance, including coffee, restaurants, ice cream, two beaches, whale watching, live theater, art studio, shops and site seeing.

For that true needed relaxation the Mendocino beach house is the place. Just watch the waves from your deck as you drink some local wine, have a picnic lunch, or take a walk down the special beach path and explore the caves and look for shells and sea glass. Great for 1 week or more!

Also great place to get some work done. Wireless internet throughout. Printer, paper, desk, and hookups all available.

By the way Cinderella really did live here!

This house is located in such a charming spot! A perfect place for exploring the town of Mendocino itself, from the beach and river outlet, all the way to the shops and such... it's in a great location.

Possibly the most unique VRBO we have ever stayed in. This was a magical place to be able to stay during our time in Mendocino. With ample yard and deck space, a private path to the beach, and easy walking distance to restaurants and the spectacular headlands, this place delivers a great experience in this one-of-a-kind town. The mattresses are comfy and the family space was ample for us. Kitchen is well equipped. Tree house and disc golf were great added perks!

This is an interesting old house, don’t expect modern luxuries but it’s very comfortable!Great location for walking to town or down the path to Big River beach. The ocean and beach can be seen through the trees and it’s great to sit on the back deck listening to the waves.Host communities well, easy check in, questions answered quickly.Only negative is that its great location is also just steps from Main St., right near the entrance to town and the highway. Even though Mendocino is somewhat isolated, the loud cars and motorcycles have no problem doing their rides through this otherwise quiet community, especially Fri.-Sun. Unfortunately, any house or hotel, in any location, will have this noise if it’s near a busy street or highway.

This beautiful and immaculate home was so charming and comfortable. We loved being able to walk to everything in Mendocino right from the house. I found that we dilly dallied instead of leaving because we just didn’t want to leave the house. The back yard/gardens are beautiful and downright magical. The path to the beach was great to have right there on property. This home has everything you might need for a Mendocino stay and we were very pleased with the amenities provided. Wonderful host as well. : )

This house has a great location, a good size and setup, and a wonderful yard. It’s walkable to a beach, several restaurants, and stores. It was our dog’s first road trip, and she loved the yard even more than my kid did.

We loved this absolutely charming and historic home! The back porch and yard was a dream with so many things to look at and do! The host was an excellent communicator and very kind. We look forward to our next trip here.

Rustic charm throughout. Access to beach is great, like an inlet. Walk to shops and restaurants. We felt very relaxed and would come again.

Everything worked as expected. The house was clean, the bed was perfect. The little amenities like coffee in the freezer, coffee pods, and tea bags were a very welcome surprise. The house is really conveniently located and we could walk at night to all restaurants easily. The backyard was super amusing with all the decorations and installations - tree fort included. Beach walk was very convenient and led directly to the river/ocean interface.We are looking forward to staying there again in the future.

My husband, our small dog and I very much enjoyed our stay at the “Cinderella House.” We appreciated the nice mix of old world charm and modern convenience, and most especially the story behind the house. (Yes, we bought a book!) The location was fabulous and it was a pleasure to amble along the gorgeous path down to the beach and also be able to walk to all the shops and restaurants in town.

Perfect beachside house. So many touches to make us feel welcome from flowers to wine. Everything was perfect. Beds were great with tons of warm blankets. Interesting garden. Loved every minute
