The cabin was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. The host greeted us at our arrival and let us know to contact him if we needed anything. He was very responsive and welcoming! I would absolutely stay here again.

This cabin was wonderful. It was very close to anything you want to do, and there are walking trails to the Pygmy forest and redwoods right outside the property. I highly recommend this cabin.

Very clean, comfortable little house in a setting that is secluded and wooded, yet is only a few minutes from Mendocino and Ft. Bragg. Our teenager thought it was the nicest place we had ever stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot of places.

Jake and Melinda have created a beautiful sanctuary of quiet beauty. Our favorite unique feature was the warm outdoor dual showers in the sunshine with pleasant smelling soaps. We loved having breakfast on the deck, the clawfoot bathtub, and amenities. The space suited us perfectly as a home base for our local adventures. Our hosts were friendly and available if we needed anything, but we were happy with everything and only saw them at check-in.

This place was so beautiful and peaceful. We were very happy to stay here and enjoyed all the hummingbirds flying around and the outdoor showers. The ability to grill was helpful, because we preferred to enjoy the cabin and cook at home. We would stay here again

This property is beautiful!It was exactly the vibe and space we needed.Well appointed. Well thought out for comfort. Super sweet and thoughtful snack basket. Which my son ate immediately! :)The outdoor shower and deep claw foot tub were such a treat after a sauna soak nearby. Will definitely return. Thank you!

This home couldn’t have been more perfect for our family of three. Warm, welcoming, spotless and on a beautiful property. We loved being surrounded by bird song with a great proximity to some gorgeous trails. Dreaming of when we can come back!

This is the nicest Vrbo you will find. It is secluded, quiet, peaceful, and good for your soul. Property is walking distance to Jackson State Demonstration Forest! It was really hard to leave the property at all, but I did make a couple of quick trips to Fort Bragg and Mendocino; both within a few mile drive. The cabin is fully stocked, spotless, with a lot of attention to detail. If you take the time to read the guest guide you’ll find a charming story of how this all started out. What a coincidence that Lindy is originally from Ventura! I had minimal contact with the hosts, but another really nice touch was the welcome basket with goodies! Such a thoughtful gesture. You can tell that Jake and Lindy care about their guests. That means a lot. Only regret was not enough time booked. I will absolutely be back when visiting the Norrh Coast, without hesitation. Kudos to Jake and Lindy for being such outstanding people and sharing their ideal little slice of paradise with others.

Peacefull & perfect location

Loved our stay. The owners were very responsive & the home was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable & we enjoyed the outdoor showers after beach time.
