Warning!! Beautiful views that will leave you breathless. Be quick to rent this nicely decorated piece of paradise.

There is free wifi high speed internet access in the unit and many local attractions that are convenient and affordable. Master has king bed with attached full bathroom. Bunk room has twin bunk beds with attached bath with walk in shower. Fully stocked kitchen and each bedroom plus living room has tv. Sleeper sofa in the living room making this condo sleep 6 in beds.

This condo is located in one of Okaloosa Island's premier properties, The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. The amenities are awesome and there is something for everyone in this conveniently located resort. Take advantage of the 700 foot lazy lagoon river on the premises or the seasonally heated, large waterfall swimming pool. There are also two oversized spas on site and plenty of seating on our large sundeck.

Average at best

Floors looked clean, but were filthy. Had to constantly walk in either flip flops or socks. One carpet, embedded with sand…..vacuum cleaner in place not adequate. Couch disgusting. Stained up. Place was decorated lovely. Needs repainted, satin base would help. Repaint the trim as well. Not much space for the bunk area living, for suitcases or place to put clothing other then stuck everything in the large bedroom with the king size bed. Lazy pool was pretty nice, along with the landscaping. Overall I would give 3 stars. Needs some more TLC to be be related any higher. Washer and dryer was nice, appliances decent. Would I come back? Hmmmmmm. Not sure. Beds we’re comfortable, pillows decent enough.

I think we enjoyed the view of the pool and the bay as much as we would have a view of the ocean.

We plan to rent from this property again.

Great resort

Excellent property. Minor detail. Only one trash bag for the whole week in the kitchen. And only one roll of toilet paper. Other than that place was excellent

Destin West

Super location- best of both worlds - great view of the pool complex, but could also see dolphins swimming by in the harbour. Using the skywalk, you are a 10 min walk to the ocean and white sands. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the action or reading. After checking in, we were told the dishwasher didn't work so not to use it so that took time away from family time. Also, the oven was broken, so it wasn't able to turn off. We used the breaker to turn it off, after realizing the oven was running overnight. The kids liked the bunk beds, however, the ladder was poorly constructed and my 9-year-old fell off, because the ladder is upside down and the slats hurt your feet when climbing up. The pools were enjoyable. We enjoyed the lazy river and smaller pools (no waterfall working). The one older gentleman was on top of the pool/deck rules but when he wasn't working, the pool rules were a free for all. My 9-year-old left her hooded sweatshirt in the kids bathroom and I have called and emailed the property managers twice and haven't received a positive response. I would not stay here again, sadly, or use the property management group, Best Beach Getaways.
