Front and center with straight on, unobstructed, views of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! This condo overlooks those gorgeous white sand beaches and emerald waters that this part of Florida is famous for! From glorious mornings reeling in the first catch of the day to exciting days chasing waves and splashing in the waters and then relaxing evenings on the balcony sipping wine as you watch the sun disappear into the waters beyond the fishing pier - this condo offers pure bliss for everyone!

Location, location, location! We are literally next door to the landmark fishing pier and The BoardWalk (with shopping and restaurants) on one side and the Gulf Islands National Seashore on the other. Destin West Resort is amazing! There is something for everyone! Obviously, you're here for the beach, but be sure to check out the massive pool and hot-tub just below the balcony. Across the street is the lazy river... just take the walking bridge on the third floor to get there. It's the perfect spot to float in your tube and just relax! Want to get in a workout? Head down to the ground floor and there is a full gym. Destin West Resort offers amenities far above the other communities in the area. It just does not get any better! Nature and private beauty one direction, fun and entertainment the other.

The living room is well accommodated with a comfy couch for snuggling in the evenings while you watch a movie. Or curl up with a good book in the cozy arm-chair with your feet up on the ottoman. The dining area can comfortably seat 4 and there is a breakfast bar with stools for even more seating in the kitchen area.

The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, flatware, and dishes. We have it all covered! There is a Keurig in the kitchen, so if you have a favorite morning brew, bring it with you!

The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are fully stocked. If there is anything you need, do not hesitate to let us know! We love sharing this piece of paradise with our guests - many become repeat guest and long-time friends!

Zombieland Paradise

Stayed a couple quiet nights in the off-season. Accommodations are really nice and I can see the place busy as can be during the warm months. The Zombieland reference comes from the fact that we rarely saw people around the resort but the music was still playing as was the lazy river across the street (neighboring included property). Bonnie the owner lives in town and was communicative.

Even better than the photos

Destin West is in a great location and a short drive from airport. Host Bonnie could not have been more helpful. The unit is even more modern than in the photos. Good water pressure and no funny smells. Well appointed amenities and a million stores nearby for what you need or forgot. During our October 2024 visit, the pools were not heated. Fitness room was in good condition and opens at 7am.

Relaxing With Plenty To Do

We loved our stay in the condo. Having access to all the pools and the beach made life easy to entertain our kids (2 & 4). The weather was a mix of warm and cold so we appreciated the heated pools we had access to on the cooler days. The view of the oceam was great and having plenty of room on the balcony made spending more time out there even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the parking on the same level as the condo when loading the truck! Great response time from the owner. Would love to go back. Definitely one of the best beaches we have been to.

Quick getaway - great condo!

Great communication with owner. Beach chair service PROVIDED by condo owner. This come was super comfortable and so well decorated. Will rent again!

Okaloosa

Honestly the condo and overall area were great. The beach wasn’t overcrowded and neither was the amenities around the condo. The only thing I didn’t care for was the wristbands. I have three kids and it stresses me out to make sure they always had them on. I know replacement is hard to come by and I get why they are needed. Maybe if they were just for adults only.

Beachside Condo

We booked this condo because of the location and amenities. Parking was free and convenient. This area is super easy to get around. The rental included beach service, which was two chairs and an umbrella. The entire time we were there the weather was gorgeous. Our last day the jellyfish showed up. Next door was The Island Resort, nice to have music and cocktails at the beach bar. I would not hesitate going back to enjoy the lazy river or sugar sand beach! gorgeous!The

Great property and owner !

Bonnie made the check in process and overall communication both before and after the stay , a breeze. Highly recommend booking with her ! The property is super close to tons of restaurants and the parking garage is right near the room as well. Great stay.

Just Perfect!!

This is the perfect place to relax and let the kids enjoy the lazy river and pool along with the beach. Ms. Bonnie was amazing and made sure we were taken care of and enjoyed our stay. The condo was well-stocked and just across the bridge for Publix to make it easy to grab last-minute items. We will definitely come back, possible for Spring Break 2025!!

Great Relaxing Vacation

Property was clean, great location, ocean view. Easy to communicate with the host. Pools and hot tub wete great for small children, short walk to beach. Everything was easy, loved the reserved chairs on the beach. Hreat to have washer dryer access so we didn't go home with wet or sandy clothes. Thank you for a great vacation!

Great Location

This location was perfect! We enjoyed the gulfside and Bayside of the property. The boardwalk was within walking distance. Everything was well kept and property well maintained. I really appreciated the parking deck during the hot summer. The host was easy to communicate with. I'll definitely be returning. Very family friendly. Not crowded. We didn't have to fight for a pool chair because you have multiple pools to choose from. The bunk bedroom was small but has it's own bathroom. Bathrooms are easy to find when you at the pool. Random people weren't able to pass through the property or use the pools. I did wish that the property had a ice machine but they did sell bags of ice. And the room had a icemaker in freezer. The elevators worked perfectly. It felt clean and safe. I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys being at the beach or pool. And you have plenty of hooks in the room for your towels!

It was perfect!

We loved our condo! It was very clean, and had every amenity you could need. The condo owner is very responsive and informative. You overlook the pool, the beach, the beach service was fantastic! We had friends staying at the island hotel next door, so they were just a short walk away for us. Would definitely vacation here again!

Amazing Stay

We had such a wonderful trip and stay at this location. “Mawmaw Bonnie” was a gem to work with, the condo was well equipped for my whole family, super clean, and even had a pack n play and baby spoons for my 8 month old (mama forgot to pack). Complementary umbrella and chair set up, as well. SO CONVENIENT! My 6 year old loved all the different pool options and being able to go across the street via the bridge to the lazy river and waterfall. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for our family vacation!

Our son married his beautiful wife on this island. We were immediately drawn by the beautiful sunsets, dancing dolphins and the peace it brought over us. Love was in the air and we feel it everytime we come to visit!

Location, Location, Location! We have straight on views of the Gulf. I can be standing in the kitchen or sitting in the living room and I look straight out at the beach!!! We can walk over to the Boardwalk for a sunset dinner, go float in some inner tubes when we have had too much sun, get away from everyone and walk to the east side of our property and be on national park...... it does not get any better.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We work so hard that when we come to the beach we just want to relax and re-energize. There is something about the Gulf of Mexico that rejuvinates and floating in The Lazy River is totally peaceful. It just does not get much better than this.
