Property was as pictured. Very clean and well equiped kitchen with everything you could need. Nicely decorated and close to the beach. Would recommend to others and we would definitely come back in the future. Had a great time.

Great spot for our family

Our family of five had an enjoyable stay. The property is walkable to everything on the Main Street there and the back porch was great for having another family over.

Great location

Beautiful sunsets and strolls on the beach. Property was clean and as advertised. Great food nearby. Very quiet with easy access to the busyness in Clearwater if thats your thing.

Great Location

We traveled with 2 families and a total of 10 people! The location of the house was absolutely perfect and the accommodations were as advertised! We loved it!!!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed the location and the property was really comfortable. The only thing I would comment on to make it better is to trim the front palm tree at the entrance to make it easier to get in and out. The beach items that we were able to borrow (wagon, chairs, towels) were a life-saver and everything is in great condition and nice to use. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Home

This is the perfect property to enjoy Marco Island. We had small children so it was a great home with an awesome screened in lanai. We were so close to the beach!

Perfect Beach Site!

We LOVED this place & wouldn't hesitate to return! The neighborhood was quiet, safe & only 2 blocks to the beach! The garage was stocked with everything you need to spend the day on the sand...a wagon, umbrellas, chairs, towels, rafts, cooler, etc! The house was very clean & we loved our nights spent out on the screen porch. It was a short, easy drive to area restaurants and Marco Island was so much fun to explore.

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was as advertised. The place is nice a spacious for a family vacation, the walk to the beach is so easy, the beach is so nice! The wagon and chairs were very nice, it was great to have all the amenities for a great day at the beach. Communication with the host was excellent, the kitchen had everything we needed. Our favorite adventures were waterskiing the ten thousand islands with Avi watersports and a kayak tour through the mangroves with Adventure Paddle Tours. Highly recommend both. The birding was excellent up at Tigertail beach!! We couldn’t have been more pleased with this house, it was the perfect location, very clean, very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great Stay!

It was greatI! I treated my 5 Granddaughters to several days in Marco Island and the facilities were very good. The only thing was, we could not find a broom to be able to sweep up the sand that inevitably that would show up after being on the beach. However, Alex said to not bother. Thank you Alex for a great place to rent.

5th Stop on our Florida Road Trip 2023

Wonderful stay in Marco Island for one week in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. Luckily there is a flashing walkway to get across to the Public Access. Disappointed in Marco Island regarding no public bathrooms near public access except Tigertail beach. House was super clean. We definitely enjoyed our sunsets and a couple of restaurants in walking distance. Nice of owner to supply detergent and dishwasher soap too. Owner super attentive if we had questions with a quick response time.

The Bunk bed was damaged, we cannot use it. In the kitchen no air-fryer to use, toaster didn’t work and the most important thing temperature inside de house extremely hot during day and night too. Never go below 75, I think the capacity of the air is not enough for that house. But the house is well kept and nice inside, very close to the beach. The host was excellent and had a very good communication with me all the time. Overall we have a good time with the family.

I was surprised to read such a negative review, particularly since the guest also noted that the home was clean, well kept, very close to the beach, and that communication with me was excellent throughout their stay. I inspected the bunk bed immediately after checkout. The only issue was that two slats from the upper bunk had slid off their rails. They were simply placed back into position, which took only a few seconds, and the bunk bed is fully functional. Regarding the air fryer, an air fryer is not advertised or included in our VRBO amenities. In fact, the guest specifically asked me about a week before arrival whether the house had one, and I clearly advised that it did not, so I am unsure why its absence was later considered a problem with the listing. The toaster was brand new. When the guest informed me that it was not working, I immediately let them know where they could find the additional toaster we keep in the house so they would not be inconvenienced. As for the air conditioning, August and early September are among the hottest periods of the year in Southwest Florida, and outdoor temperatures during this stay reached around 100°F. During the hottest part of the day, the home remained around 75°F, which is a very reasonable indoor temperature under those extreme conditions. Unlike many vacation rentals that restrict how low guests can set the thermostat, we allow guests more flexibility, and the thermostat was being set as low as 67°F overnight. I also think it is important to provide some context. Three days before arrival, the guest requested to cancel the Labor Day weekend reservation for a full refund. Unfortunately, this was outside our clearly stated seven-day cancellation/refund period. Labor Day is also a high-demand holiday weekend that is normally booked well in advance, making a last-minute cancellation particularly difficult to rebook. We always take guest feedback seriously and address legitimate issues promptly. I am nevertheless pleased that the guest acknowledged the home's cleanliness, location, value, and our communication, and that their family ultimately had a good time.
