The minute you arrive at "Breathless" cozy cabin, relaxation sets in. This cabin offers the most striking 180-degree views of the mountains into Georgia and Tennessee. The beautiful valley below is full of wildflowers, lakes, cows, and horses grazing. Listen for the whistle of the train, watch the soaring eagles and gaze at the starlit skies. Family and pet friendly.

The amazing outdoor covered living space is so relaxing and peaceful. It offers a brand -new hot tub, outdoor dining, a gas grill and comfortable oversized Amish rocking chairs that enable you to see the view and not look at the railing. The deck also overlooks incredible boulders with space to roam or enjoy the new solo stove bonfire = low smoke & hot fire with comfortable Adirondack chairs.

Decorated with all the flair and charm of a mountain cabin, with the style of a home you would find in Southern Living! With views and sunsets that will make you never want to leave. 3 bedrooms is just perfect for a family of 6 or friends. The kitchen is well-stocked and has a coffee bar with Keurig and Ninja coffee options.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

The space and the location are perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin comfortably fit 5 adults, provided all the cookware needed to make food at the cabin, and had a great common area to sit comfortably together. And the outdoor space was incredible, especially around sunset! Less than a 5 minute drive to the town of Mentone, which had cozy shops and dining options. A great place to relax and enjoy quality time with your people!

Peaceful Tranquility

What can I say about Breathless...It is just that..Breathless. From the moment you enter the fully furnished cabin, you see the "View". Folks I am telling you...I have been many places before and nothing is as good as Breathless. Fully stocked kitchen! Gas BBQ grill. Plenty of seating inside and out. Also Breathless has updated to a 55" smart tv. All you need is your username and password to watch content you pay for already. Always remove your credentials upon departing. Breathless has 3 sleeping areas with 3 queen beds and 3 bathrooms. Plenty of room for everyone. The internet is quite fast. 510 MBPS download is what I had. Plenty of speed for your devices! Don't sleep on Breathless..Book your relaxing vacay today!

This was the perfect cabin for our group with amazing views.

The cabin was super cute and cozy. Very clean and perfect for our group of 6. The back porch sunset views were truly amazing. We loved the rustic feel of the cabin. It is in a convenient location, close to several great hikes and the cute downtown. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.

We chose this cabin for the view and it delivered with so much more!

Our family loves the outdoors and this cabin provided that experience with just a step out to the back porch. A very nice, private and quiet location. We experienced every sunset of our stay from either the back porch hot tub or in one of the many chairs. The sunset view is an event of its own! The cabin was spacious for our family of four and generously stocked with all the items that we usually forget at home when we travel. We only brought our food and found that everything else we needed to cook and enjoy our meal was already in the cabin. We found several good options near by for those times when we wanted to dine out. One of our favorite things was to find the cabin so tastefully decorated for the season. We really felt at home as soon as we entered. With both DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon National Preserve just minutes away, there were plenty of outdoor activities in the area for our family to enjoy. From booking to post-stay, the experience with Mentone Cozy Cabins was a good one. They provided the right amount of contact, information and response to questions (qualities that are appreciated by the guests). Our family travels several times a year and this has been the best renting experience. The family unanimously agreed that I "did good" in discovering this cabin and that we would stay at Breathless again and again!

Cozy place with an awesome view!

We were all family ages 59-79. We enjoyed every part of our stay. The cabin was decorated for Christmas down to the last detail. Every thing we needed to have was there. There was even a book of information to answer any questions . Great stay!

A much needed getaway.

Unbelievable sunsets in a comfortable cabin

Breathless is a superbly located and equipped cabin with the most incredible westward views which allow for amazing sunsets each evening. The cabin is very comfortable with tons of amenities - hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, telescope, and more. Only a mile from the heart of Mentone, you can easily get out for a bite to eat at one of the quaint restaurants and cafes. Excellent communication from the owner throughout the entire process - would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet and beautiful getaway.

So happy with our choice of breathless!

The home was well appointed, very clean, and totally comfortable. even had a fully stocked coffee bar. Mornings were great overlooking the beautiful mountain vistas and comfortable chairs wrapped in comfy blankets. Disappointed most of the amenities like restaurants and gift shops were closed the four days we were there. Most of those open toward the end of the week when we had already left . Fort Payne, which was about 20 minutes away is a beautiful quaint community and we did spend some time there, eating at restaurants, and shopping. Thank you Laura ,will be back!

Family Birthday Getaway

Family members and I got to spend 5 nights at beautiful Breathless for my mom’s and my aunt’s birthdays. We enjoyed it so much! The sunsets and rain clouds rolling down the valley were equally lovely and the cabin is terrific and even prettier in person. We adventured in Desoto Falls, Mentone and Ft Payne. We can’t wait to stay at Breathless again!

Truly is Breathtaking

Are family had such a wonderful time! The view is Breathtaking. The gliding bar height rocking chairs overlooking the view are amazing. Listening to the faint sounds of the train at the bottom of the mountain was so nostalgic. The cabin is stocked with everything! I can’t say enough about this sweet cozy cabin! We hope to stay again!

Relaxing With a Beautiful View

Property is just as pictures display. The view is literally indescribable!!! Everything was so comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do. Owner was quick to respond and very helpful. Definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting this property again.

Definition of Serenity

This was our first ever visit to the town of Mentone, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Breathless is duly named. The property is pristine and well maintained. The cabin is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a relaxing, stress-free stay. The view alone pays for itself! Mrs. Nobles was such a joy to work with. You can tell that she and her husband take great pride in their property and their guests' experiences. We began planning our next stay before we even left! If you are looking to stay in Mentone, look no further than Breathless!

Perfect

My husband, two girls, and I really enjoyed our week stay. We are from winfield al and typically choose the beach or mountains for our family vacations. We really wanted to be away from the caos this year. This cabin is goregous and so peaceful. You can tell the owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests! This cabin had everything we could have needed. The sunsets were breath taking! Only 45 mins away from Chattanooga. I would have stayed around the cabin the entire time but my girls wanted to get out! 1000% recommend!

Peaceful Retreat

Breathless was a needed relaxing stop while waiting to move in to our new home nearby. The views from the brow do take your breath away! The home was well stocked and very comfortable.

Jeff & Laura are your hosts/home owners. Jeff has been visiting Mentone since his childhood and introduced it to Laura when they were first married. After enjoying many family reunions and stays at DeSoto Park, they decided to purchase their own cabins and share with others the beauty of Mentone. In addition to Breathless, the Nobles own Beulah, located on the south end of Mentone on a 3 acre spring-fed lake.

From the minute you drive into the driveway, you will feel a sense of calm. The view is amazing! There are pastures, ponds/lakes to gaze at, along with soaring eagles flying in the sky. The sunsets are incredible. The yard below where the fire pit is has amazing boulders that compliment the scenery. Rain or shine, Breathless is a relaxing destination and a great place to enjoy time with friends and family.

When you open the front door, the smell of cedar greets you. The furnishings are all new, along with linens and mattresses.
The covered porch is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a sunset. The brand new hot tub has a multi-colored light option and is a great place to relax. The oversized Amish rockers allow you to enjoy the view and not the railing, along with the outdoor dining table.
The solo stove fire pit is one of a kind! Once the fire is going, there is minimal smoke. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit are very comfortable.
