The suite was just as described, clean, cute and quiet. The place is tastefully decorated and the outdoor area is landscaped beautifully. We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, loved the decor and outdoor sitting areas. This was my birthday trip and a stop on our trip through the World’s Longest Yard Sale. Hope we can come back again next year.

It was as beautiful as described! Quiet, peaceful. We had everything we needed. Enjoyed coffee on the deck and watched the hummingbirds. Perfect. Will definitely be back!

Great host she let us use the grill which was great and the hot tub was amazing. Very quiet, clean, and beautiful room to stay in. Small quiet town to loved this place definitely would boom again not to mention very affordable

The host was absolutely excellent and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was beautiful, the location was perfect—very private and safe. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or property!

This little guest cottage was absolutely stunning! It was the perfect place for our one night stay! The shower has two shower heads which is perfect for two, and the hot tub was absolutely amazing to soak in and relax. She must have upgraded the hot tub but not updated the pictures on the site, because the one she had there that we used was much nicer than the one shown in the photographs! We also made good use of the charcoal grill for hotdogs and the fire pit for roasting marshmallows for smores. The bed was so comfy that we fell asleep instantly. Mrs. Carla was super friendly to talk to and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this guest house for anyone looking for a cozy retreat to Mentone.

We had an enjoyable stay. The fireplace didn’t work, probably needed new batteries. Only negative was you could see through the blinds from the kitchenette.

This was such a lovely studio— it was beautifully decorated and the highlight was the bathroom and the deck. There was a claw foot tub (with a candle) and a 2 headed massive shower. The deck had comfortable chairs and flowers and bird feeders. It was very peaceful. Our little dog loved the yard. I never knew Mentone existed. It’s such a quaint town. I would love to come back and explore the DeSoto State Park. It was a very satisfying trip.

We had the nicest 3 day stay at this precious getaway. The host was just so nice. Check-in was easy and the inside was just lovely. I’ve never stayed at a place where there were so many touches to make it so warm and inviting. The bed was to die for. We had our dog with us and the host set up doggie fences off both entrances to the deck so we could allow him outside without his leash. We enjoyed our hikes and the restaurants we ate at. Mentone Market is the place to go for sandwiches, pizza, etc. Elevation was the best restaurant for the food and friendly staff. Breakfast at The Hatters Cafe was quite the treat taking you back into Alice in Wonderland. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

The inside of the suite was just as pictured super cute and just enough for a couple. The outside however of the suite was not as described. The suite is connected to the hosts own personal home not as private and intimate as pictured. The outside of the house was kind of messy and not as pretty and put together as pictured. We enjoyed our stay but the awkwardness of not having a private suite and sharing a space with the host was not enjoyable

I'm sorry you were not happy some things about the property. I do say clearly in the listing that the suite is a part of my house and the owner lives in the house. And the suite has a separate entry and is a complete separate space and there are no shared spaces. And I apologize for the yard being a little messy while you were there. I have some landscaping projects in progress and my help for the weekend did not show up as expected.

I love sitting on the deck listening to the birds. It’s so peaceful. This time I had a hummingbird and a very friendly English bulldog come say hi. I love the bathroom - it’s like a spa. She has so many wonderful touches that make the space feel like a 5 star hotel. This is our second time back and I would come again. Mentone is a sweet town with a few amazing restaurants- like the Elevation Bistro and the Hatter Cafe.
