Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the bathrooms and found them very nice. We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. The property has Ring floodlight cameras and a Ring doorbell located outside, positioned toward the driveway. There are also Ring contact sensors on the exterior doors, which alert us if a door is left open. Additionally, there are two motion-sensor lights on the patio that **do not have cameras or microphones**. We take guest privacy very seriously and comply with VRBO’s policies regarding property monitoring. There are no listening devices at the property, so we were disappointed by that implication. Regarding the lawn, we have a landscaping company that routinely mows the property every 10–14 days throughout the rental season. Lawn growth can vary depending on weather and timing, but we make every effort to keep the property maintained. As for the sliding doors, we understand that they were difficult to operate. The doors simply needed lubrication on the sliding tracks, which is a maintenance issue our management company could have addressed. We were told that you offered to take care of it yourselves that evening, and we appreciate your willingness to help. We’re sorry that the property did not meet your expectations, but we appreciate the positive comments about the bathrooms and hope you have wonderful future travels.

Timothy, thanks for the stay and honest review. Please note it’s a smart thermostat that senses presence. I find it somewhat of strange that you would think that someone was changing the temperature setting every time you left the house. Please know that’s not the case. As for trash, the barrel should hold ~8 trash bags, which should be plenty for 7 days stay. I understand you had extra trash which got picked up on Saturday. Thank you very much for the suggestions, both are great. I can definitely include dish towels and additional hand towels/washcloths. I will have to check on adding an awning before the next season.
