Welcome to the Dalton House

We have a beautiful, 5 bedroom home available in the Coeur d’Alene suburb of Dalton Gardens. Dalton is conveniently located 4 miles from downtown Coeur d’Alene, Lake Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden Lake.
Our 3200 sq. ft. house sleeps 10 comfortably. With 5 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, a large modern kitchen, dining area, 2 family rooms (upstairs and downstairs), and laundry room. The covered patio with gas grill and firepit, looks out on the large fenced back yard. There is a 2-car garage and room for parking in the circular driveway. Located minutes away from award-winning restaurants, pubs, shopping, parks, hiking, lakes, and other activities. Dalton is the perfect location for families and groups..

Perfect Business Trip

The owner was amazing to work with. The property was spacious and clean. It was very close to our event and provided us with a wonderful space to relax at after a hard day's work. We highly recommend this place and hope to stay again!

Home Away from Home

Our big family vacation takes us here each year. This house is the perfect location to downtown, Silverwood and Sandpoint. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Thanks again for accommodating us all! Can’t wait to be back next year!

Wonderful home!

This home was perfect for our family group vacation! We had six adults and three children. There was plenty of room for all of us and room to roam. It was exceptionally well-appointed! The property manager was very responsive. It is a great location for accessing Farragut, Silverwood, and Lake Couer D' Alene.

Wonderful place to stay

Clean, classy, and comfortable with lots of space, including two spacious living/family rooms. Large family with range of ages and had plenty of room for everyone. Appreciated the personal touches of old family photos and heirlooms. Loved playing cribbage in the cozy living room and having a huge, nice backyard for the kids to play. Very well stocked kitchen which was great to cook in, and generous dining space right off the kitchen which allowed for visiting while preparing and eating meals together. Great location within very close proximity to conveniences but still felt private and rural. Beds were comfortable overall - one was more firm for those who prefer a firmer mattress. We were very grateful to stay at this wonderful home and would highly recommend it to others.

Family Friendly

This was a great family friendly place to stay. The house was very clean upon arrival and they had everything you need for a convenient stay, which included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, spices and completely stocked kitchen. The location was perfectly located, easy 20 min drive to silver wood and 8 mins to Hayden Lake which made it perfect for our stay. And our young kids absolutely loved playing in the big fenced back yard. The adults enjoyed the patio and firepit just as much!

Sons wedding

I was looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay for my family. I cannot say enough about this home. It was very clean and beds are great. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is a nice and quiet neighborhood. Shopping, restaurants and downtown were very close. My whole family commented on much they enjoyed their stay. The host was very nice and helpful. When we come back to visit, I will certainly look at this home to rent again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Perfect for extended family vacation!

I was vacationing in Coeur D’Alene with my younger four children and my oldest daughter’s family. Since her children were younger and had earlier bedtimes, her family could have their own space downstairs. Wonderful yard for the children to play and the adults to relax.

Great Time at this comfortable house

My family and I had a great stay at the Dalton House. We had 3 couples with 1 kid and 1 baby and everyone had plenty of room. The commodities of the house were great and in good shape. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a large house in a good area with a great commodoties.

Our favorite house

This was the second year of us renting this property. Huge backyard, large kitchen, big enough for everyone if they want to be together or have privacy. Can’t wait to stay here again next year when we come back.

All the comforts of home

This was a perfect property for our family vacation to Silverwood Theme Park and Lake Coeur d’Alene. We had 6 adults and 3 children and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep on. We really enjoyed the patio and backyard, which had a fire pit, a large area for the children to run around in, as well as yard games to play. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious home for a group get together.

The Dalton house was a wonderful place to retreat to after our days spent at Silverwood. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals, and the gas bbq was fantastic to have for our bbq night. The patio fireplace was a joy to sit at and enjoy the evening. We saw deer wander through the yard and enjoyed the tranquility and the peacefulness of the property. Property hosts were easy to contact, friendly and a huge help when we left something behind at the house. 10/10 would stay again.

Family Visit/Memorial Service

Great house - the space was perfect for our group of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). Had everything we needed on hand, and the location for us was perfect. It rained most of our visit but the first night was gorgeous and we got to enjoy the back patio and backyard area. Highly recommend for those warmer months as it was a great space and would have liked to enjoy it more. Beds were very comfortable and house was clean. Check In process was simple, property manager was prompt in response to messages prior to the stay. He checked in real quick mid-stay via a message, which was appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic property

Had a fantastic stay at this spacious property! COVID created travel challenges and we appreciated having a safe place to visit end connect. Plenty of rooms for us to spread out, with all the comforts of home and then some. The property manager was thorough and a pleasure to work with. Patio Paradise

We loved the outdoor patio most of all. Deer came each evening and ate apples and pears from the trees just a few feet from the patio. Large beautiful back yard. The property manager was helpful and friendly. The mattress on bed in the southwest corner of the basement needs to be rotated or replaced. It rolls toward the wall from being sat on. A small chair for people to sit on while dressing or undressing would keep the mattress from breaking down on the edges.

Ladies birthday weekend

We loved our stay! The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 10 ladies. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, except adequate spices. Enjoyed the quiet and peaceful back yard. The back patio was special with the lights and propane fire pit.

Home away from home. Clean & comfortable.

We came to town, along with extended family, for our sons wedding. The home was very clean. There was plenty of space for everyone, and after traveling, we even had. A large laundry room for laundry and ironing, before the wedding. During our downtime, we enjoyed coffee, while playing cribbage, around the large family table. We also enjoyed the little touches of old family photos sprinkled throughout the home. It felt inviting, and took us all back to our childhoods. Property manager and owner were both pleasant and helpful. We definitely will look into staying here again, if we travel back that way for future visits.

Great family home close to everything

This home is exceptionally clean! There were 8 age 16 and over and 2 kids and everyone had a place to sleep. The house is big and fairly well equipped. The showers are nice and 2 of the 5 beds are comfortable. It was a little like Goldie Locks trying out the porridge when my mom who has a bad back was searching for a good bed…this one is too hard this one is too soft this one is too short then just right! The patio and yard are very welcoming with lots of room for yard games and meals! The BBQ was very nice and easy to use. This is also an incredibly convenient location as it is really close to CDA Lake, Triple Play and Silverwood! I think the management has had some bad experiences because they really want to check in with you and make sure you are who you say you are. They were super easy to communicate with and kind. We will definitely stay here again if we are in town!
