Looking for a tranquil get away for the weekend or even just an evening? Is it time for a family vacation? Our home is suited for all of those things! This serene and peaceful neighborhood provides the ideal place to sneak away for the weekend. Located just 15 miles from Jack Daniels Distillery, 30 miles from Huntsville, Alabama, and 20 miles from Winchester, Tennessee, you're nestled in the right place to relax and play. Don't forget fishing access and awesome views of the lake!

Cottage on the lake TN

Great place for small family to stay while in/near Fayetteville, TN! Clean home, quiet neighborhood, great internet speed and has lake views! Will definitely try to book here again next time we are in town.

Little Getaway

Our stay was great! We didnt have any trouble with check in. The property was just like the photos. Communication was excellent. The views are beautiful. Just a couple of minutes from Elk River Canoe Rental. We hope we will be able to book this year after year.

Quaint and Cozy

My husband and I loved this property. It was nice and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and pretty. We had a great relaxing time.

Pleasant but cold

The house was cute, there was all kinds dirt behind shelf when you walk in front door. There where mouse dropping in the utensil draws and all the pots and pans had to rewash all of them. Roof leaked in the utility room. The Christmas tree and decorations all over house, we had to look at them until February 27th. There where leaves piled up 3 inches high all over front porch and walk way to the drive way, that I had to sweep off. There was excessive pet hair that had been swept out the front door on the door mat that said wipe your paws. I to sweep off, Plus the front yard had tons of leaves.

It's was nice house.

The house was clean until you moved something out there was dirty behind the little self at the front door. There were mouse droppings in utensil drawer and in the pots and pans I had to rewash all of them. The Christmas decorations were still up on the 1st of January had to look at them until February.

The Quaint Blue Lake Cottage was everything I never knew I needed! Quite, serene, beautiful, cozy and comfortable, not too mention affordable! Our hosts were amazing, courteous and caring about all things. The cottage itself was like walking into "home"! Furnished kitchen, amazing coffee to wake up to; comfy sofas with free internet, built in streaming and the hosts even left snacks for those late night movies! The linens were fresh and clean, and the beds were so comfy! We slept so well! We'll definitely be back! 5 out of 5 stars across the board!

Organized Chaos

Family Stay

Our stay was wonderful. Our communication with the property owner was the best we have ever experienced. The little cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The lake is beautiful! We had a great stay! We will definitely be staying again. The response from the property owner was always quick and very helpful. The cabin had everything we needed.

Kaleob was a great host. House was very clean and conveniently located for our trips to the Tennessee Whisky Trail distilleries. Would recommend staying here.

AWESOME

This property was just as advertised, area is peaceful. Lake was profitable for fishing and the birds were fun to watch saw many deer as well. We will be back soon.

Great cabin

Kaleob was a great host. The cabin was perfect for us. It's close enough to tour the distillery for a day trip. Cute place to stay and easy to find!

Beautiful area.

The property was a perfect fit for our mini vacation for a local family reunion. House was cozy and the scenery was gorgeous. Very peaceful sitting on the front porch watching the firefly’s and looking at the beautiful lake. The house had all the feels of home with all amenities needed. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful and clean cabin

A quiet cabin stay in a small lakeside community. Very private and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts left snacks for guests. Easy check-in. Hosts are very communicative. Full kitchen with everything you need. Be aware there is no bathtub, only a shower. Bring toiletries. Host will ask you to throw your sheets and towels in the washer when you leave.

Lovely Location

Kaleob was very accommodating. He responded to my inquiries immediately. We would definitely rent from him again. The location was so perfect and loved watching the array of birds on the lake.
