NEW! Designer decorated cabin, recently remodeled with SPA STYLE SHOWER. It features wooded views, a hot tub, a gas fireplace, a fire pit, smart TVs, and fiber WIFI. All are just 1/2 mile from Cloudmont Ski Resort & 5 minutes from DeSoto Falls. Whether you are looking to relax and unwind or go on an adventure, this spacious yet cozy-feeling retreat has something for everyone to enjoy! Come see why so many of our repeat guests love to come back!

VALUE PRICED BUT INCLUDES:



A NEW SPA SHOWER has just been installed!

- Pets- 25 pounds or less allowed - but no labs or retrievers due to shedding                                - spacious living room and kitchen with gas fireplace

- Smart TVs with fiber internet -Keurig and drip coffee makers are supplied                                  - Full-size hot Tub with privacy                                                                                                                           -Wrap-around porch with charcoal grill, rocking chairs, and outdoor furniture

- Outdoor firepit (wood supplied except in summer due to supply constraints)

- Locally commissioned artwork and designer-decorated interior.                                                          - There is also a loft with a sleeper sofa/Futon and work area. The steps are VERY steep. Make sure children are supervised and not recommended for senior citizens.                                 - 6 Acres of peaceful wooded surroundings (common to see wildlife at dusk and dawn)





Please Note: This cabin is close to our sister cabin, Happy Hollow, next door. Larger groups or families can rent both for more fellowship and fun. No parties or events. In the fall, be aware that acorns can fall. We suggest you not park under an oak tree. We are not responsible for falling acorns.

Update: Exterior cameras are in use at the cabin for your protection and the protection of the property owners. They only monitor the parking area and a RING Doorbell. No cameras are invading your privacy.

We couldn't have been happier. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The owners was more than helpful and hospitable. We will definitely be returning in the near future

Loved the shower. Honestly, its not my style to make a review but I was upset we didn't get to enjoy any of the outdoor furniture because it was covered in spiders and spider webs. My husband knocked them down for us to go to the hot tub one night. All of it was really dirty and the place itself could use a good deep clean just because of the dust. It smells as though it has been closed up a while. We didnt use the king size bed because it looks like it is only held up by small pieces of wood and we were afraid it might break.. It wasnt a terrible stay, we rested and the location was great.

We are always disappointed anytime we receive anything less than a 5-Star review. Our property manager, Rhonda, is on site almost on a daily basis. I wish you had let her know promptly about the outdoor situation. We would’ve had that resolved immediately. I will pass on the message to her about the deep clean and the musty smell. We average 4.91 out of a 5-Star scale on this cabin so we take these matters seriously. I assure you that bed is not frail. We actually had it fortified one time for a guest yhat weighed 400 pounds. So in addition to what came from the factory, we built in additional support. Again, I wish you had let us know so we could’ve made these conditions right. Our objective is always to get an outstanding stay. Thanks for your comments. We will make sure we improve because of this.

Cabin was very clean and hot tub was nice. Unfortunately we did not use the fire pit because of the heat outside but we did enjoy the woods surrounding the cabin.

Loved it , this is my third time here, it was cold so we loved the fire place , it’s such a relaxing place, they have everything you need , it was our anniversary. It’s clean and cozy

The cabin was so close to all Mentone has to offer-but also such a peaceful and relaxing place. The furniture was very comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the fire pit, rockers, and hot tub. Day trip to Lake Guntersville-Chattanooga within 45 mins and Desoto State Park a must see. Everything we needed-Great get away trip.

Loved the cabin in the woods

We had a great time, the accommodations were perfect, we had everything we needed. It was so close to Mentone and yet so quiet and private. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at this cabin! We will definitely consider returning. Owners were very thorough with directions and details. Kitchen was supplied extremely well. I like to cook so that meant a lot. Highly recommend for couples or families. There was plenty of space.

Very happy with our choice of rental home

We were so pleased to be able to stay in this lovely and nicely appointed rental. It was really nice to come back to every night after we explored the area. Hosts were easy to get a hold of and we had no issues with our stay. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a peaceful stay in the mountains.

Quiet Getaway

Christmas getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The cabin was wonderful and the times we spoke with Natalie she was so nice and accommodating. We will recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Great location

Close to everything in Mentone and DeSoto State Park. Cabin had plenty of room for our family and we had everything we needed at the cabin for our stay.

The cabin was very cozy. We really loved that it was decorated for Christmas. May I suggest that you provide a pair of scissors for future renters? Also, the auto air freshener did not seem to have anything coming out of it. Thank you for your hospitality.
