Wonderful time of year to visit, mid October for us as the leaves just changed!! Lake was crystal clear. Host responded immediately. The book on the counter gave us all the information we needed. Everything was clean and fully stocked. Might want to bring your own Keurig as we did. Checkout process was a snap where we have stayed places where it was a lot more involved. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a gorgeous lake view. Enjoy!!

Our family loved staying at this beautiful lake house. The stunning view of Lake Bomoseen with the mountains in the background is just breathtaking. We were amazed by the gourmet kitchen that had everything needed to prepare meals. Cabinets and drawers were organized and even clearly labeled! Chilly fall nights were spent by the warm gas fireplace in the huge living room where we worked on some of their cool puzzles. Lovely decor, clean and comfortable….. this place is awesome!

Fantastic views of Lake Bomoseen, the best on the lake! Everything you could wish for in this VRBO rental! Very spacious property with everything you need for a 5 star vacation! Our stay at Craig’s house was fantastic. I’ve been coming to Lake Bomoseen for over 35 years and have stayed in many different spots around the lake, and in my opinion there is simply no better swimming area than where this house is located. The bottom is sandy with virtually no weeds, and it stays shallow for quite a ways out. Our 6- and 11-year-olds could walk out a good distance while still comfortably keeping their heads above water.The dock worked perfectly for mooring our two boats, and having kayaks and paddle boards available was a great bonus.The house is spacious and very comfortable for a larger family. Having 3.5 bathrooms is a huge advantage and something that is very hard to find in a Bomoseen rental. The separate AC units in each bedroom are another big plus, especially during warmer stretches in July or August.The kitchen is well stocked, the basement TV setup is great for a rainy-night movie, and the fire pit is perfect for relaxing by the lake in the evening.Craig was extremely responsive anytime we had a question or concern. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already booked to stay here again next summer and can’t wait to come back!

Lake view was amazing . House was perfect for our grandkids- lots of toys and games and yard to run around ! Fire pit with marshmallows was a big hit! Surprised that there was ONLY one TV in the entire house -& it was downstairs - the remote was a challenge !

We have been using VRBO for years to vacation each summer with our adult, semi adult and almost adult children and a grandchild too! This home topped the list. It was absolutely perfect. I hate to review it so well, because we may never gain summer access to it again, but I think I’d love it in the fall and winter too and I can’t say enough great things. We are complainers and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The beds were fantastic. So comfortable. Plenty of clean, soft, bedding. The kitchen has every pot, pan, spoon, serving dish and small appliance you could need, and the 2 fridges held plenty of food and drinks. The furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out. Our timing was great so we were able to watch the meteor shower from the deck! The best part was the lakefront. The gorgeous view every morning. I could drink a gallon of coffee staring at that! The lake itself, sandy bottom, with no seaweed! We floated, we swam. We fished, kayaked and paddle boarded all day! It was everything a lake vacation should be and more! Our host was so attentive and responsive to every question! This was by far our best vacation ever! We can not thank Craig and his family for opening their home to us! Nothing less than amazing!!!

The house is beautiful, the views were awesome!!!! The process was seamless and everything we needed was there. We were there in the winter when the lake was frozen so can't say what it's like in the summer. Would definitely rent the house again. The fireplace was so delightful! Especially when it was zero degrees out.

Outstanding spot for family

If youre in the area and looking for a one of a kind lake experience this is it. Great location on the lake, great swimming for the littles and teens. Gorgeous views for morning coffee. Highly recommend.

Peaceful stay

Great host, great communication (although it wasn’t needed as everything was well in order and we had zero need to contact the host) and great property! And without even knowing the host made one of my dreams come true by finally having the chance to cook on a Viking Range!My family and I had the best Xmas we have ever had at this rental and I have nothing else to say other than thank you to the amazing owner and I wish all hosts move and care the way Craig P does!!!!! Wonderful visit

The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and the lake view gorgeous. Very comfortable beds. Great host; one of the best we have had with many VRBO rentals. Location was easy to visit the many historic attractions. I would highly recommend.
