This guest house is privately set at the rear of the property behind the main home, with thoughtful design to ensure peace and privacy.

Kristen was very welcoming and accommodating for four high school girlfriends of 50 years visiting from California. We had such a great night "girl talking" out around the fire pit. Everything was so inviting and comfortable. Thank you Kristen!!

We had a wonderful week in Ogunquit staying at this guest cottage. Great location! We were able to walk to the beach, downtown, Marginal Way, and Perkins Cove easily. The cottage is beautiful and well-equipped and just the right size for the four of us. It’s very quiet and has a lovely private deck off the living space. Looking forward to our next visit in Ogunquit!

A week in May

The property was exactly as advertised. The host Kristen could not have been more accommodating. It was only a few minutes walk to Main Street and the beach beyond. In spite of the endless rain, we certainly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Perfect Stay

The cottage was the perfect stay for us for quick 3 day break after moving our child into college in Boston. The cottage was perfect. It was very clean, had everything we needed, the owners are extremely friendly and informative. We loved the patio at night! It was a great distance from town and the marginal way. Would definitely stay again and check out the area some more!

Magical Race Weekend

Came for the Wells Coastal half marathon. Place is beautiful and has everything you might need! Walking distance to shop's, restaurants and ocean. Hosts were very available and gracious.

Awesome property in a fantastic location.

Great long weekend stay at this property. Everything brand new and owner couldn't have been more welcoming! Perfect location walking distance to town and to the beach. Close enough to be super convenient, but just far enough away for the quiet you want when the day is done.

Perfect!

Everything was outstanding! Gorgeous place perfectly situated in the heart of town but just off the main street so it was quiet at night. The house was immaculate with everything you could need. And the owner, Kristen, was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. Truly a perfect stay!

Fabulous Week in Ogunquit!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in OGT. We loved our accommodations. The cottage was beautiful, clean and tastefully designed and appointed. It was a short walk down to the town and to one of the most magnificent beaches in the country! Our hosts were so friendly and helpful with recommendations. We left the car in the driveway and walked everywhere. The weather was gorgeous too! Loved it!

Perfect cottage/home for four, A+ host, perfect location

This was our first visit to Ogunquit area. Kristen was a great host providing excellent advice for local food and activities. 80% of our activity was walking distance (<2 miles). We will be back.

This fabulous property in the heart of Oqunquit is the perfect getaway. A quick walk down the street puts you in the heart of everything! Park your car at the cottage and all of the restaurants, shopping, beach and the breathtaking Marginal Way are all within a short walking distance. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The amenities are perfect and your hosts are responsive & very helpful. We can’t wait to return!

Ogunquit fall escape

Beautiful location. Great host! Bedrooms are quite small. Be sure to bring your own toiletries as there is no shower/bath soap. Also. Only one bathroom is downstairs where the bedrooms are, which was tricky with two couples. Outside patio with couch, fire ring and table was a great way to spend the evening.

Heaven by the sea

We had a wonderful time staying at the cottage - the entire place was clean and cozy, which was just right for our family. Kristen and Tom made sure we had anything and everything we could need and provided great recommendations. This is the best property we have ever stayed in and was such a wonderful getaway for our family - we enjoyed picking up dinner and eating at this little slice of heaven in OGT. It’s an easy and quick walk to town and Main Beach - we are almost afraid to share it with others since we know it will be the perfect spot to stay for years to come and want to make sure we can still book in future :) Highest recommendation for this property or the other two properties managed by the Property Owner - absolutely the best of Ogunquit and sure to meet your needs!

Wonderful Experience!

Thank you, Kristen, for an amazing experience, your warm welcome, and for always responding quickly whenever we had a question! The gorgeous (inside and outside) cottage was just as shown and described on the listing and completely spotless. We've been coming to Ogunquit regularly for a number of years and were excited to see this listing on Vrbo. We always choose a location to stay that is in walking distance to the Ogunquit town center and beach, and this location was perfect for that, while still being easy to get in and out by car when wanted. An added plus was the new coffee shop/bakery a quick walk down the road. While Ogunquit has a wide variety of restaurants we ended up having most of our meals at the house so the well-equipped kitchen and huge island were very much appreciated. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the bedrooms are on the small size, but since all we did was sleep in them that wasn't an issue, and the amount of storage and closet space in the house was more than ample. During our stay the weather was mostly cool with frequent rain showers so we didn't have much chance to use the outdoor space, but got plenty of use of the indoors and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and fireplace. Definitely hope we have the opportunity to stay there again!

Convenient and Peaceful

Kristen and Tom have a beautiful new build that is a hop and skip to the charming village of Ogunquit but tucked away just enough to feel like you’re in your own private woodsy cabin. The house was immaculate, comfortable and offered everything we needed for our four-day, three-night stay. Initially, we were to be a party of three, but ultimately there were just two of us. A little more space than we needed, but this would be perfect for 3–4 people or a couple with 1–2 children (one note: nearly everything is white, so parents keep that in mind)! There’s a beautiful walk-in shower upstairs and a soaking tub downstairs. State of the art washer, dryer, and dishwasher made the stay a breeze, and we didn’t come home with any dreadful laundry to do after unpacking. Check-in/out was simple and quick, and Kristen was accommodating and at-the-ready to answer any questions we had. In the mornings, I’d recommend walking into town nice and early for breakfast at the Village Market and coffee to eat on the beach (~10-minute walk). We brought groceries and didn’t have lunch or dinner in the neighborhood, so I cannot make any recs there, but K+T have a whole binder full of them! Lazy afternoons by the fireplace with movies were a perfect way to reset before evening outings (we were in town for a wedding and family reunion). If I’m back in the area, I will rebook without thinking twice. Thank you, Kristen and Tom, for having us—it was perfect.

The description & pictures do not do this home justice! We spent the weekend of Ogunquit Fest at this lovely cottage to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The town was bustling with people, music and many activities to enjoy. We had several amazing meals (The Crooked Pine & Perkins Cove Kitchen were 2 favorites) and enjoyed all the Fall festivities. Kristen was a fantastic host and got back to me almost immediately with any questions. The amenities & location of this house are 100% accurate in the listing-and then some! Only a 5 minute walk to the Main Street. Another few blocks and you’re at the beach! We walked the Marginal Way, explored Perkins Cove & took a short drive to visit Kennebunkport. And of course, some great shopping! I fell in love with Maine all over again. Thank you to Kristen & Tom for sharing your beautiful slice of heaven!

My husband and I fell in LOVE with Ogunquit 20 years ago. Once our girls went off to school, we moved to Ogunquit full time. We bought this property in 2018 and starting building our dream home in 2020. We are excited to share our guest cottage.

The larger lot size allowed us to make the guest house and a main home. The entertaining spaces were designed to allow for privacy both homes. The fact that you can walk to all the restaurants, beach and marginal way without driving is so GREAT!
