We had a great experience with our stay. Host is attentive, friendly, and helpful. We recommend staying here when in Breaux Bridge. We will return, we enjoyed our time here.

Absolute TREASURE!!!! Hostess and property were most wonderful. This is our new favorite!! The area is a treasure trove of activities, cultural architecture, art, music and joyful locals. Three day weekend was not long enough, we will return soon and choose this beautiful chalet once again! Thank you to our hostess, everything was PERFECT!!!!!

Great location. Beverages in the fridge were great upon arrival. Host was very accessible and provided all the information we needed to check in even when it was near midnight. A small home that was just fine for the two of us. Renting from an accomplished musician and author was a bonus.

We love staying here and have stayed here multiple times. Definitely our first choice of properties to stay at when my wife and I visit Breaux Bridge. Has everything you need for an enjoyable Breaux Bridge experience. Super clean, close to great restaurants and shops. Yvette is a wonderful, gracious host that is accessible and helpful.

Anniversary get away

Everything was excellent, relaxing atmosphere and great weather. Buck and Johnny’s is the place to go for breakfast.

Birthday getaway

This little beauty is comfy and well supplied. Perfect for a couple’s getaway! Close to downtown, where there are wonderful restaurants with great entertainment. Cute downtown area with nice antique stores and gift shops to explore. We loved it! Yvette is a sweetheart!

Cute Cozy Charming Cajun Cottage

Had a wonderful weekend in Breaux Bridge. The cottage had many little extras which made out stay even better. This place is charming and very accommodating...perfect for a couple, and walking distance to great restaurants.

My husband and I were so fortunate to book this cottage in Breaux Bridge. It was really close to 2 of our favorite restaurants, Chez Jacqueline and Cafe Sydnie Mae as well as plenty of quaint shops to browse around in. It was immaculately clean and super comfy. The Tempur-pedic bed and linens slept like a dream and since we had a little rain to deal with, we were able to snuggle up on a great sofa and watch some movies when we weren't out enjoying the town. The kitchen was stocked with everything we might need. Our hosts even had some treats to snack on and a variety of drinks available. The bathroom was pristine and the tub was a nice soaker tub, great after a long week at work. Communication was so easy and pleasant. Our hosts were present anytime we had a question and at the same time we had all the privacy we needed. Chez Moi is a wonderful property. We would definitely recommend staying with this host and we look forward to our next trip to Breaux Bridge.

Louisiana Music Hall of Famer/Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/interpreter/author/cultural ambassador…that a lot of different hats for one person to wear; yet Yvette seems to be making it work. Yvette Landry has her own style.

Landry fronts The Yvette Landry Band and Yvette Landry & the Jukes. Her debut award-winning album titled “Should Have Known” was released in 2010. (The album was named Offbeat Magazine's "Best Country/Folk Album" and Landry "Best Country/Folk Artist"). Landry has traveled the world even touring Russia serving as a Cultural Ambassador on behalf of the Library of Congress. She has graced the stage at both the Library of Congress and John F. Kennedy Center of Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

By day, Landry is an educator, teaching American Sign Language, song writing, bass, guitar, and accordion. By night, Yvette is a musician/singer/songwriter/author who continues to tour worldwide, gracing the stage with greats such as Vince Gill & The Time Jumpers, Darrell Scott, Rhonda Vincent, and many more.

Since her debut album in 2010, Landry has released four more CDs, and recorded on more than thirty records. Her first children’s book, “The Ghost Tree,” was nominated for “Louisiana’s Young Reader’s Choice Award.” And more recently, her second book, “Madame Grand Doigt,” along with “The Ghost Tree,” were formally accepted into the Library of Congress Collection for Children’s Literature.

Her latest project, “Taking the World, by Storm,” is two-fold. The book, “A Conversation with the Godfather of Swamp Pop,” covers the lifespan of this living legend Warren Storm, and the companion album, produced by Yvette and titled, “A Regional Roots Journey with The Godfather of Swamp Pop,” includes guest John Fogerty, and more.

This cozy "shotgun" house is just perfect for a sweet Cajun getaway. It is just a short walk away from Cajun jams, Zydeco dancing, great food, local artisans and southern hospitality. Hop in the car and drive just a few minutes to the Atchafalaya Basin, Lake Martin and other water ways and see alligators, birds and a host of what Louisiana nature has to offer. Want to see dinosaurs...just a few miles away, you can see that too.
